Hours are approx:

Saturday: 4.30pm-6.00pm OR 4-5.30pm

Sunday 7.30am-12.30pm

Plus Sunday 4.30-6.00pm OR 4-5.30pm

If possible we would also like a hand any time it's convenient with filling haynets OR working every other Saturday morning but these are negotiable and don't necessarily have to be part of the deal.

Sunday mornings you will usually be working with another staff member, afternoon shifts will often be sole charge.

Basic stable chores (turn out, muck out, bring in, paddock skip, feed, water, hang nets) in return for:

Your own refurbished accommodation which includes a completely upgraded kitchen, shower room and bedroom and new sofas, flooring and blinds; either sole occupancy or for you and your partner/friend.

This position may suit a couple or 2 friends who would like to share the chores or a freelance groom/physio/instructor that needs a base or anyone that and would benefit from rent free accommodation.

Ideally you would have some experience of working on a professional yard but would also consider very experienced and confident applicants who have not necessarily been formerly employed in the horse industry. Must be capable, confident and calm dealing with large youngsters and fit competition horses. Mature, professional attitude, good punctuality and a genuine passion for horses with good attention to detail and high standards are absolutely essential. Must be clean, tidy and respectful of the accommodation and premises in general. Looking for someone that must have common sense and be self sufficient.
Professional but friendly, small yard with high quality dressage competition horses.

Further riding may be available for the right person/people on quality dressage horses.
