Great little pony with a smashing jump!
Spartan is very confident under saddle and on the ground. He schools well in all three paces, loves hacking and just general pony fun. Solid as a rock in heavy traffic. He will stand all day to be groomed, loves having a bath and brilliant for farrier, clipping, loading, catching etc.
He has a little dance when he first loads but settles once traveling. Stables well in company, however, does panic if he can’t see another horse. When he’s out he is very quiet and happy, therefore best suited to a home with turnout.
Very bold when jumping and carful with his feet. Jumps anything you point him at, I think he’d make a fab hunting pony for a confident little jockey. Experience homes only for this awesome chap.

Safe, fun all rounder who is no way near ready to hang up his shoes yet and loves his hacking and low level jumping!
Sparrow has been with his current owner for 8 years and has had a lot of fun doing all riding club activities and teams up to 80cm. He has done countless sponsored rides, hacked extensively both alone and in company and been a lot of fun. Sadly his current yard is closing and owner due to personal circumstances can not relocate so the difficult decision has been taken to find him a new home as he’s no way near ready to retire yet and loves his work. Sparrow will go in the school and work on the flat nicely and has been very well schooled but ideally we are looking for a more fun home featuring a lot of hacking and some low level jumping (ideally 60-70cm with possibly the odd bigger fence at home) as this is what he loves! He’s best described as a steady ride but goes up a gear when jumping, nothing scary but nicely forward in to a fence and takes his rider. To hack he is super, hacks alone or in company and is good in traffic. He’s been ridden here by a variety of teenagers ( from novice) and been good with all. He’s a fun pony who gives a lot of confidence. He’s perfect to do everything with and nice on the ground with, but dislikes clippers which requires sedation. He’s easy to look after but a bit of a playful thug in the field so has been kept on individual turnout. Ride and drive fun all round cob. Super safe happy hack or low low level all rounder.
Flicka has come to find a new home as she has been working in a riding school and needs a change of scenery. She is a a very quiet cob who would suit most riders, she’s just got bored of endless circles in the sand school and prefers a more varied life as wasn’t getting to do any hacking or fun stuff. Previous to riding school work she was in a family home. She has been lightly broken to harness and took to it very quickly. We have tried her and she is best described as quiet but green in a cart. She’s good to hitch up etc. fine in a straight line but hasn’t quite figured out how to turn and cross her legs correctly yet. Flicka will go in the school and works quietly. She has learnt a few cheeky habits though and is not suitable for teaching someone to canter on. With a better rider she is good as gold and won’t put a foot wrong but will take advantage of an unbalanced wobbly novice learning to canter in the school! She will pop a small fence in the school or a log out hacking very sweetly. Out hacking she will take just about any rider and will canter away very well. She will hack all day long alone or in company, loves a fuss at a pub stop, the type of pony you can hack out bareback in a head collar. She’s fab in traffic and has been on a yard with a very busy road, motor way bridges etc. and not been remotely bothered. Ideally we are looking for a family or happy hacking home who will do a bit of everything but keep arena work to a minimum as she just does not enjoy it. She would enjoy endless hours hacking, pub stops, fun rides. Flicka is also happy to work sweetly on the lead rope with a smaller rider, stands for hours being groomed and washed. She’s a delight to handle, box, catch, feet trim, clip. Happy to live in or out but is naturally on the larger side so needs her weight monitoring.

Turns heads wherever he goes. Is adored by everyone who meets him and never comes home without a red rosette!😉

The most straight forward ride I’ve ever owned. Straight and Naturally balanced uphill paces. Super way of going, holds his own frame and knows the beginning of some lateral work. Done dressage both prelim and novice. Jumping is what he loves. Bold brave and cracking technique. Been showjumping, cross country jumping anything from big ditches to water, tires etc. has also done one little local working hunter show. Has been to the beach hacks in company and has gone round our yard tracks alone (never done roads alone cause I don’t hack really but the kids take him out and I wouldn’t send them alone). Is ridden by myself, 12yo, 14yo and a 9yo and is perfect fall all. Snaffle mouthed however has show in some unaffiliated open classes in a Pelham and goes straight back to a snaffle no problem. He is still eligible for novice classes having only ever done 2 nps novice classes when he was a 5yo placing top 3 in both.
On the ground he is a big attention seeking dog. He loves a scratch and a fuss. Always likes to find something to play with whether that be a head collar, shavings bag, leave anything lying around and he’ll play😂 He has so much character and personality in a little pony he is literally my dream pony but with two welsh D’s and a new business I just do not have the time he deserves. Having been a stallion for 10years he’s never had the chance of a home where he can just be a pony until now and he’s in his elements Has just joined the herd of geldings who are in a field directly next to mares and he’s the happiest I’ve ever seen him. Loves to play with the others and is loving the company. He deserves the absolutely world, there isn’t many like him!

Good and up to date with vet, physio, vaccinations, farrier (shod in front). Comes with full wardrobe including fylde davina saddle, bridle, turnout rug, thermatec rug and stable sheet.

His one and only down side is that he’s a fidget to mount. Doesn’t like to hang around although I can launch myself on from the mounting block or I hold and Leg up the kids at the same time. He doesn’t buck, rear or run off he just walks away😂 this has improved however he’s just a pony who wants to get going.

This pony will do absolutely anything for anyone. He will be a top junior HOYS pony, under 133 workers or will equally love to go do some pony club activities. As long as he gets to have some fun he’s happy!

Home is of upmost importance because he is loving his life and deserves to keep it that way🥰

Here we have Hamish, he is a gorgeous coloured Shetland pony with personality to match, he is your typical cheeky shetland. He is rougly around 9/10 years old off the top of my head (need to dig out his passport and check to be sure) we have owned him for the last year and he has been a companion to our old horse so we could take our other horse out for hacks but she has retired as well now so he is no longer needed. As far as i am aware he isn't broken to ride, we had only sat my daughter on him in the paddock with a headcollar on, which he wasn't fazed about but he would need to be broken by a professional if that's what someone wants to do with him.
A couple of negatives are he has had laminitis in the past but is manageable with the right knowledge, we have not had an issue since we have had him.
We have only travelled him once to us and he didn't travel well. I believe it was through lack of understanding rather than being naughty, with time and patience i think he wouldn't be a problem.
Lastly he is difficult to keep in, he doesn't respect electric fencing so would need someone with good fencing or good electric. we have a rubbish unit and fencing, so have had to keep him stabled for part of the day.

Sadly i injured myself (unrelated to the pony) so she hasn’t been ridden since, but she is so easy she will pick it all up again in no time! He has been slowly produced over the last year, not rushed or over worked.

He works in a soft outline in all 3 paces, getting stronger with every ride. Goes nicely off the leg, can do his changes and begun basic lateral work.

Chino is talented over a fence, proving to be bold and careful. Been to a few arena hires, jumping everything asked of him. Goes the pace the rider asks, jumps perfectly in open spaces too. Been over XC fences with no troubles.

He loves hacking, perfect in all traffic lives on a busy working farm so really has seen everything possible. Is confident alone or in company, happily follows or leads.
