Description
Bracken is a lovely young cob mare with a kind temperament and plenty of potential. She is a very sweet natured mare who is easy to handle on the ground and is regularly handled by children aged 8 and 11. She is safe in the stable, even around food, easy to catch from the field, loads herself, and travels well.Bracken is schooling nicely and has been ridden regularly by my 11-year-old. She is forward-going but sensible, with brakes and lovely flashy paces. She is currently popping small courses of jumps sweetly and is proving to be a straightforward and willing mare. She has hacked alone and in company and is very straightforward not silly or fizzy when hit the gallops and not phased by traffic in anywayShe lives both in and out and is happy in a mixed herd environment.BarefootPicks up all four feetGood for the farrier — initially nervous, but now stands nicelyEasy to bath, groom, and handleEasy to clip Never kicked or bittenUse to farm animalsAlthough Bracken is ridden and handled by children, due to her age she is still learning and developing, so she would not be suitable as a complete novice ride as obviously her age means she can still occasionally need the confidence of her rider. She would ideally suit a competent teenager or small adult who can continue her education and have lots of fun with her.Up to date with:✔ Teeth✔ Vaccinations✔ Farrier✔ Worming✔ Physio£5,000Open to vettingsBased in SO32.

And with bikes, scooters, footballs, etc. Up to date with vaccinations.Never had laminitis but does need restricted grazing.Reason for sale - my son wants to go on and do bigger things but Sausage is happier at the lower levels (jumping ~40cm).We would love to find a home where he is active and enjoyed - right home is priority for this special boy.Plenty of photos and videos available to serious inquiries.£4,500 ono including tack and rugs
I am gutted to make this post but this pony deserves the world and I can’t give it to her with a big drop in confidence and just not enough passion for it anymore I have come to terms with parting with my Bestfriend… ✨ One in a Million Mare Looking for Her Forever Home ✨Caprece has done a bit of everything with me including hunting, beach rides, XC and schooling. She schools nicely, enjoys her jumping and is a fun little mare for someone wanting a genuine all-rounder. I am unsure of her exact age, but I have been told she is around 7–9 years old. She has a lovely temperament and thrives from a strong 1-1 bond with her person. Once you know her buttons she is a lovely ride and gives you so much back. However, I want to be completely honest as finding the right home is far more important to me than a quick sale. Caprece is NOT a first pony. She can get strong and occasionally impatient, especially if asked to stand around for too long, where she may fidget. Very rarely, if she becomes overly excited, she can throw in a rear, so she will need a confident and knowledgeable rider to continue bringing out the best in her. There are a few more things I’d be happy to discuss with genuinely interested people. This is an extremely difficult decision and she will only go to the very best home. I would ideally prefer any potential new owner to have her on trial before making a final decision, as I want the match to be right for both pony and rider. Mid four figures.Serious enquiries only please.

For sale Gracie, superstar 14.2hh 7yo Trotter X Cob mare. Absolutely beautifully marked with a fun and friendly temperament. I bought Gracie early November last year as a project to produce whilst my competition horse had some downtime from injury. She’s been a pleasure to produce but it’s now time for her to find her next person to have fun with. On the flat, Gracie works sweetly in a contact in all three paces. She is starting to learn her lateral work too with a nice leg yield coming along. She recently attended her first dressage show picking herself up a 2nd place and 69+% in the Intro as well as a good effort in the 60s in the Prelim. Not spooked by the judge hut/ mirrors and warmed up well around other horses. As a trotter, Gracie’s canter transitions can still be hurried, but she’s made quick progress in the short time I’ve had her. She would be a great candidate for Novice and Ele with more work. Gracie loves to jump! She’s proved very bold with fillers, water trays etc. She has done multiple arena hires for jumping and been to one showjumping competition. She took it all in well and jumped two sweet rounds for a clear and one pole down around 60cm. She’s jumping courses of 70cm at home and has jumped bigger in a grid and on the lunge. She has potential to be a great 80/90cm pony, perhaps more with time! But I haven’t wanted to rush her as she builds up her strength in canter. She’s also seen a few cross country fences and jumped up and down steps, over logs, ditches and barrels with no problem. Gracie hacks alone and in company. She has mainly hacked alone around fields and on the beach but goes out in company occasionally to get her used to it. Forward going and easy to pull up. She has done a small amount of roadwork with me and been great with cars, bikes and runners etc. We haven’t done much road work as we have good off road hacking. She is cheap to keep as a good doer and barefoot. Well behaved to catch, load, travel, trim and for the dentist. I had her sedated to clip when I first got her but I’m sure she’ll be fine with that with more practice. Up to date with vaccinations, worming, physio etc. Gracie is looking for a confident and competent rider to either enjoy all round PC/RC activities and hacking or someone who wants to specialise in SJ, DR or even Eventing. Gracie would not be suitable for a novice as she is still fairly green (only having recently been properly schooled with me) and can be bouncy when she’s excited/ overwhelmed. This mainly happens with new experiences (like her first canter on the beach in company, first SJ hire or first gridwork session). The more she does, the better she gets. She is a fast learner and wants to please but will need someone capable to keep her on the right track. I’ve happily had a teen on her multiple times on the flat and jumping. It’s not unseating/ nasty but she would not be the right horse for someone lacking confidence and experience. Open to viewings and vettings. Based West Wittering, West Sussex. £6000 or near offer - the right home is the biggest priority! 07584318173 - if I don’t answer, please leave a text/ voice message.

Monty is a 12 hand, 12 year old bay roan gelding with a cheeky, loveable nature. He is a fantastic lead-rein pony who doesn’t mind bumps and wobbles. He will quietly stand for grooming, pampering, round the world, scissors, and touching ears and tail! He is great to ride and lead, keeping up with the big horses and will even put himself in behind if needed for cars to pass.100% in traffic, catch, clip, load, shoe (currently has fronts only but was bare foot when we bought him). Always handled by my daughter who was 8 now 11, although can have his moments when the grass is just too tempting! He can be turned out with others or individually, will happily be left alone either in stable or field. He currently lives out during the summer and is stabled at night in the winter (he’s a dream to muck out). He is a very good doer!Over the past 3 years my daughter has taken him to pony club junior camp, mini showjumping, gymkhana games, rallies, fun rides and even a one day event where he finished 1st on 25.5.I am selling him as a lead-rein pony as this is where he excels but he has been my daughters first pony teaching her so much off lead as well. A confident child will have so much fun with Monty as he loves to get out and about but he is not a total kick kick pony off lead, he is more of a 1.5/2nd pony. This is a heart-breaking sale as my daughter has just outgrown him. We have hundreds of photos and videos over the 3 years which we are happy to share. £4950.00 onohttps://youtu.be/VZFeGWX7Jyw

Walks over poles, doesn't mind quad, harrow, loader, tractor, strimmer etc. Good to load and with farrier.I leave him in stable when I take my mare out and he is quite happy and usually has a snooze! Kate is a 14,1 Connemara mare easy to do in all ways and the kindest most loving pony you will ever meet. We have had her for 2 years and she has lived out 24/7 in mixed herds and in pairs. She has also been stabled overnight. She lives of grass and is a very good doer, we would ideally like her out 24/7 but she is more than happy to come in for a few hours. She is a quite mare that will always be the bottom the herd and gets on well with all horses and ponies. She has no ongoing health issues and is barefoot, she must only be in a companion home as she has been retired, because she is only field sound this can be explained more upon request. This is non negotiable. She will more than happily stand for hours and be groomed and is great with kids. She doesn't like to be left alone so it would have to be a home with friend/friends. She is up for full loan but happy to re-home to the right home. She has never put a foot wrong and is part of the family. This is a very sad sale for us to make so kind homes only. We are happy to share all vet records and previous history. Kate is up to date on vacs, farrier and dentists.
This is a post I didn’t think I would be writing but circumstances have changedI’m looking a new permanent companion home for tedHe’s a 11.1 Welsh sec a,12 yrs old, he would never make a young kids pony as he can have his sharp moments and best suited to be turned or with geldings or mares that will put him in his place , he’s good to do everything with and has lovely paces and nice breeding, he has showed in the past in hand, he will only go to the right home , he’s up to date with vaccinations and good for farrier , he’s just had his teeth done as well, he’s never had laminitisHome is a lot more important then price He dose not particularly like to be left on his own but is happy with company near byHe would also be perfect for someone that wants to have some fun in hand showing and a pony to love and fuss overPease feel free to message with any questionsI have had him six years and will be sad to see him leave but due to having a baby I dint have time to give him the fuss he deserves the right home is top priority more then price
Sad sale of our stunning 11yr old New Forest gelding. We are hoping to find a new home for him where he can continue to enjoy hacking and jumping! He will work nicely on the flat but he can find it quite boring and doesn’t put a huge amount of effort in, until he sees some poles!!! He’s not spooky with fillers and is very straightforward to jump. He thrives on a 1-1 relationship and ideally we would like to find a small adult who won’t outgrow him and consequently a long term home for him. He is good to hack, good with cattle, good with farm traffic and in his previous home hacked on a busy road although we don’t ride on the A road here as it’s not safe. He’s very good to load and travel, with the farrier etc. he has previously been shown at County level successfully, in hand, ridden and M&M WHP. He has been arena eventing and done unaffiliated SJ and HT. He has recently been competed by a novice teenager. He can work nicely in an outline. He likes to live out, or at least have regular turnout. He disliked living in during winter with no turnout. He doesn’t need to be stabled, if you don’t have access to one. He was gelded at 4, and has previously covered so whilst he can live with mares and geldings (and does now) he does have typical pony character and wouldn’t suit a totally novice home. He isn’t interested in the mares in the field next door to him and has also been out in a mixed herd. Shod in front, as our hacking is stony, vaccinated, wormed etc. He’s a very special pony, looking for a home who appreciate him, and share the same interests as him! Please no time wasters.£7000 ovno

Bramble (Carey’s Wizard) 13.2 red passport sired from Lucky Lane Warrier is looking for his forever home. I bought bramble and his half brother as yearling's and had intended to sell them once backed but became attached to them! But it is now time for bramble to find a fun and loving home where he can continue his learning journey and be exercised regularly as he is getting bored. Bramble was backed professionally and has been hacked out in company and alone, has had lots of lessons in the school and is coming on very well. He would be great for a small adult or confident and competent rider as he is still green. He is being ridden by a professional trainer to bring him back into work as been turned away since September. He is very kind and will stand being groomed all day. He is good with the farrier, has had his teeth done in December and fully vaccinated. He loads and travels well. His saddle has recently been fitted to him and is valued at £450. He has bridle and head collar. I’d love him to go to a home with other ponies and someone who will enjoy bringing him on to hi potential. Please message for school videos and only contact if you are genuinely looking - price with saddle to be discussed as looking for forever good home more than price
