Description

Tosh is a 12-year-old Welsh Section A that we’ve owned for 2 years and 4 months. He’s now sadly outgrown. He's been used for hacking, Pony Club and local shows, both on and off the lead-rein.
•He’s perfect in traffic, including busy main roads.
•He’s a dream to load and travel in a lorry or trailer.
•When he hacks out with other horses he doesn't worry if he gets left behind.
•He’s done 5 Pony Club camps with us(2 Easter, 3 Summer)and hasn’t put a foot wrong. He was off the lead for 3 of these and won several prizes.
•He’s won heaps of rosettes for fancy dress, mini jumping, hunter trials, dressage and fun showing
•He lives out happily without a rug and he's barefoot
•It’s easy to keep his weight down and he’s not had laminitis

On a few occasions when off the lead-rein Tosh has bucked, which is why I'm selling him as a lead-rein pony as he's much happier when being led or with someone alongside him. When Tosh came to us he had issues arising from his teeth being neglected, and needed to have two teeth removed. He's had regular check-ups since, with no further problems, although he has soaked hay and a wet feed in winter. In summer he just has grass and a small amount of balancer.

£450 to include tack. Tel: 07887 940653

Criccieth Jaques ( aka Jaxx ) 11 years old same home from 3 years old ( 8 years with us ! )she doesn’t kick or bite and isn’t the spooky forward type .she is an absolute gem to take out and behaves impeccably in and out of the ring at shows regardless of any fuss going on a round her and will stand at the trailer like a mouse .
I feel Jaxx would benefit from a home with younger children who will have many years ahead with her or maybe even siblings to take over from them ! She’s a gentle responsive ride with a gentle rider , she doesn’t need pulling around ect . We’ve never used crops or spurs as we’ve simply never needed too . Jax hasn’t pretty much done a bit of everything , jumps well , dressage , hacks out beautifully, isn’t really fussed about being upfront or behind and is safe in open spaces , great breaks too! In short just a lovely all round pony . She’s had many other children rouse ,earn to ride , borrow her for show ect who are happy to speak for Jaxx with many love to show too ! ☺️
Jax has a short bout of lami this April which has fully resolved and she’s back to her fit and active self .
Possibility of short loan with view to buy .full medical History known . Green passport , up to date with vacs and teeth .

£2000 with tack , stable rugs and some turn out rugs inc

Description

I have owned Jess for four years, and have enjoyed so much with her.
With me she has been hunting, cross country schooling, showjumping, and lots of hacking around roads, forest and the beach. I am sadly selling her because I am going to uni and don't have the time to give her the fun life she deserves.
Jess has a lovely nature, she is good to catch and handle and happy to live in or out. Jess is so trusting after you spend time with her, and loves cuddles. She hacks out alone or in groups. When riding with other horses I can trust her to be sensible, she is always a fun, forward going pony to ride.
During the time I have had Jess, she has grown in confidence and has turned into a calm pony who I can do anything on, however when I first had her she was quite spooky and nervous, especially of jumping, so needs a patient loving home to bring out the best in her. She is such a fantastic pony to enjoy hacking on roads, open fields or forest with, and needs a confident rider who wants to have lots of fun!
Jess is thirteen years old. She is up to date with worming, vaccination, farrier and teeth.
I am looking for £2000 or near offer, some tack and rugs included.
Please email with any questions or for more pictures.

Hattie- 13.3hh

14 years old New Forest mare.

Loan with view to buy.

Great to shoe, tack, clip, box etc.

All rounder - Hacks alone or in company, loves jumping (showjumping and cross country) and I competed her in mounted games. She would be a perfect pony club pony.

Needs a confident rider but will look after you.

Needs bringing back in to work as I have not had enough time for her over the summer as I would have liked but she is a very quick learner.

A very sad decision due to not having enough time to commit and she is a waste of a great pony just being in a field.

Loan ideally but would consider selling to the right home.

Message me for any videos etc.

Description

The type of pony we all want for our child, just does everything without any issues and loves to do his best. His top qualities are being safe out and about hacking and in open spaces, calm and sensible but not a kick on or lazy. Sweet and easy for any child to handle. He has a great jump not wizzy so can teach a child. Full up 13 2 so Id say smallest child an 8 or 9 year old size but can be ridden by light weight adult too so really useful. Done some rallies and little things around but could do more with the right jockey. Looking for £3000 with tack. Really kind family pony with lots more to give the right rider. Videos and more photos available.

Description

"Roxy" is a very pretty, bay mare from the Corstan Stud.

Sire: Parc Carlo 26078 (GBR)
Dame: 85811 Sackville Rosaling (GBR)

Born: June 2008

I brought Roxy for my eight year old son and I to share but we are moving aboard in December, so she needs a new home.

I have really enjoyed riding her and working on her schooling. She's been great fun to jump and has plenty of scope that I haven't explored yet. We have had lots of lovely hacks out alone and in company, through woods, open fields and along roads. I have done riding club rallies on her; including grid work, pole work and cross country.

My son has ridden her in some lessons and Pony Club rallies, jumping on the lead rein in the arena and cross country. We've taken her to a showjumping competition with him on the lead rein and she was very relaxed throughout.

Easy with the farrier, she currently has two front shoes on. Lives out all year. Loads well. Teeth done in June. Up to date with vaccinations.

Please email or text is easiest as I have my hand full with children most of the time!

Super smart full up 13.2hh 8yro forest bred new forest gelding for sale.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEc3wH9jN2Y

Buttons is a forward going and responsive ride, he has been cubbing, xc schooling, he hacks out alone or in company (seen light farm traffic). He's been introduced to show jumps/poles and schools well on the flat. He is still green in the school simply due to the fact we dont have one so low mileage for his age but a very fast learner and absolutely loves to be working. Successfully shown in hand at county level being placed at bath and west, new forest and Devon county.

A really kind natured boy, a lovely temperament makes him easy to have on the yard. He will live in or out but he does like to come in and thrives off his routine. Easy to load in a trailer or lorry and will stand whilst left.

He is good to clip, bath and shoe. He is up to date with teeth and just had his annual vaccination so really he is up together and ready to go! He has no known health issues and is never sick or sorry.

We have owned Buttons for over two years with his full history known (one previous owner) so he will only be sold to the right home. Ideally suit a small adult rider to continue with his education and enjoy him as an allrounder whilst having the potential for much more. Please do not call for your 10 year old novice child. Genuine sale - I must cut down as I simply cannot do justice to them all.

Flash is a 4yo ride and drive cob.
If you are looking for a safe and sane family driving cob then look no further.
He is currently a stallion but will be gelded before he leaves unless his new owner wants him kept entire. He is not at all coltish.
Flash is 100% to do and can be driven by a complete novice. He will stand still all day and will wait for you outside the pub without being tied up.
Flash has been driven in heavy traffic and is well used to farm machinery. He lives at home and is stabled on a busy yard where lorries are driven in and out daily. You can turn him out for months and bring him in and drive him straight out, he is the same horse. Flash is the most trustworthy boy and has been ridden by our 2yo girl and 8yo boy. We all love him and will be sad to see him go but my partner wants a driving stallion that acts like a stallion and flash is just too quiet! This makes him perfect for a family driving home that want something safe and quiet to trot to the pub but just not for us.
We know that his ideal home would probably want a gelding so we will book him in to be gelded next week. Please dont let his age put you off he is as safe and sane as any horse I have met.
Pitures of him above and also of his dad. Anyone is welcome to come and meet him and drive him out. The first to try him will buy him, he is a real genuine boy. Sad sale so 5* homes only please. WhatsApp for a video of him driving this morning.

Due to loss of grazing, I have a 14.2/3 6 year old New Forest Cross Mare for sale. She is bay and a good weight carrier. She is such a friendly and loving mare, good with the farrier, has excellent feet. She is never sick or sorry and has amazing movement. She has been ridden but not by us recently due to other commitments so would need bringing back into work, is a great mother/daughter share, sold from the field, £750 ono.

Shetland Mare 21". She is a lovely 9 year old skewbald mare. She has locking stifles but has never caused her any issues. She is obviously not rideable and is for a pet only. She is good to handle, good with farrier, etc.

A loving home needed for both.

PERFECT PONY FOR SALE! LYNDHURST TICKLED PINK
GRASSROOTS/BE/U18/FEI POTENTIAL
Quality 143cm 2014 New Forest Gelding
Nemo has the temperament and ability to be a top-class event/PC pony. He will no doubt excel in eventing and make the pony of a lifetime. He has the looks and temperament to match his talent.
Nemo has an extremely trainable attitude, for his age we have honestly been shocked by how easily he finds work and gives everything a go. Having backed Nemo, I can proudly say does not say no and takes every challenge in his stride. He has had the correct education and is very willing to please. He is very rideable and has floaty, flashy paces.
Despite his size and age, Nemo really is a wise old horse in young pony’s body. He has an honest, straightforward attitude towards his jumping. Even at 4 he is already looking for the flags and knows the job in hand. He will help his rider out and jump off any stride, without being phased by any fillers, water tray etc. He will happily pop round 1.05/1.10m without changing his pace or attitude. The scope for FEI/U18 courses is very much there.
XC is Nemo’s forte! Saying no to a fence is not in his nature. Water, ditches, corners are all a breeze for him, taking on Novice fences with no trouble. However due to his love of XC, it can make him not a novice ride. He is keen into a fence but doesn’t alter his rhythm however, with the joy he finds in XC does come the odd ‘happy buck’ which would unseat/unnerve a novice.
On the yard Nemo is ‘dog like’. He stands politely waiting to be tacked up/un-tacked. Adores fuss and to be brushed/washed etc. He will stay out all day on his own and can be first to be brought in or last. The easiest going pony I have ever had the privilege to own.
He is 100% to lead/travel, he will stand on the lorry all day on his own and is happy for friends to be taken away from him. He is never nappy or sharp and will hack alone or in company, leaving groups in lessons to work independently also. He is absolutely BOMB-PROOF in traffic. He has been clipped, shod and had his teeth done none of which caused a problem. He is very calm at a show, having been placed at his first dressage and combined training shows.
I will be absolutely gutted to see him go, but his future is so bright and under the right rider I have no doubt he will go very far. If funds and time allowed I would undoubtably be keeping him. Homes will be vetted, he deserves the very best love and education. Please no novices he needs experienced homes to keep training him and keeping him on the correct path. Would suit a competitive small adult or talented young rider.
Please contact me on 07554305075 for more information. More videos and pictures available upon request.

Mouse is a 12.2hh, 10yro gelding. He has done pony club rallies, he loves jumping and works nicely on the flat with good movement. He is good to handle, easy to catch, travels in trailer or lorry and good with the farrier but is currently not shod. Mouse is not a first pony as can get forward when jumping so would ideally suit a confident rider to have fun with.

Description

We bought Icarus from within branch last autumn, mainly for my daughter Pip to have for her final Prince Philip Cup year, but as well as mounted games he is a fantastic allrounder who loves his jumping and is showy on the flat. He evented with his last owner and Pip has continued with his schooling and jumping at home this year. He is an active member of our pony club, attending rallies, camps, etc. He has been there, done it all! Pip has recently been training for her C+ on him and has taken him cross country schooling which he loves! We both enjoy hacking him out as he is a fun, safe ride who will go out on his own or in company. He is snaffle mouthed and would just as happily trot over cross poles with a small child as he would take a more confident rider around an 80cm course. He schools beautifully in a natural outline. Please check out our Youtube video to see for yourself! (search Laithehill Icarus 2018 or follow the link below)
At 15-and-a-half, Pip is now out of senior mounted games and is outgrowing him, also she needs more time to concentrate on GCSEs next year. That is why we are reluctantly looking for a new loving family home for this super pony who loves his work.
Icky’s achievements this year have been a very successful season with the Staff College and Sandhurst senior mounted games team, which includes Royal Bath and West, West Hants, won Area, 3rd at Zones and 4th in PPC Championship Final. (just two places away from qualifying for Horse of the Year Show!) He is a reliable, accurate, sound and steady games pony who knows all the races and will go in any race, any position. He will stand for the stirrup or run for the vault but will not take off or frighten you which is why we think he would be perfectly suited to teach someone interested in taking up games or moving from juniors to seniors.
He is easy to do, lives in or out, good to catch, shoe, clip and load. He is up to date with all vaccinations, worming, teeth and back. Never sick or sorry. Price includes tack and rugs. 5* home only, which is more important to us than the price.

For Sale or Loan

11.2 Section A Welsh Mountain. Perfect first pony. 19 years old, fit and well schooled. Adapts to suit rider so will go faster or slower depending upon the jockey. Does a super dressage test, jumps fast and clear up to 50 cm, well behaved out hacking and hunting (always ridden in a snaffle). Super mounted games pony. Has done pony club camp, rallies and shows including cross country - goes through water and will go over all types of jumps. Always looks after her rider. Has won many showing and pony club competitions with my daughters.

She has mild cushings and she has a low dose of medication for this and before this was diagnosed she had laminitis - so she has to have restricted grazing and plenty of exercise. Easy to load, clip and will stand quietly for the farrier. Pulls faces when being groomed and bathed but has never kicked or bitten.

She lives in or out and can be turned out with mares or geldings. Only for sale as my 2 daughters are ready for their next pony and we won't have the time to give her the exercise and attention needed.

Knowledgeable home essential. £1,250 including quality english leather saddle and bridle and several rugs.

14.1hh 11 year old Welsh D geldiing.
Absolute star to ride! Amazing brave jump and beautiful balanced paces. He does have a blemish on his side which does not affect him that passed recent vetting by current owner which is taken to account in purchase price.

He is a proper all rounder as suitable for workers, combined training, dressage, hacking, xc or sj. Would be suitable for competitive teenager or adult.
This is a very reluctant sale due to arrival of new baby so only available to an experienced home where he can continue to be in work. He is very willing to please and happiest when he is doing something!.
Fully up to date with vaccs, teeth, worming and is barefoot. Can be viewed in Plaitford : definitely no loans or trials. £3200 ono. Please Pm for more information.

Very sad sale of Alfie, who we have owned for 2 ½ years, as my son has moved on to a 15hh horse. We have been very active members of S&WW pony club and he has done everything with us including camp for the last 3 years. Currently competing successfully at 70cm and jumping 80+ at home – he has plenty of scope to compete 80+ with a smaller/lighter child. He is steady to a fence, staying in a rhythm, doesn't over jump, is very careful and rarely has a pole. Will never be a world beater but is a good steady reliable pony with plenty of ability, who restored my son's confidence after he lost it on his previous pony. He has lovely rhythmical paces and does a nice dressage test (qualifying for Regional Dressage Championships in 2017). Good to hack, not spooky and excellent in all traffic. He is incredibly easy to do (clip, catch, load, dentist, bath etc) and is barefoot with fantastic strong feet. Right home is an absolute priority as he is very special to us. References available and lots of videos on request. Everything up to date – worming, teeth, vacs. Open to vetting and instructors. £4k.

TO THE PERFECT HOME
SHILSTONE ROCKS CHILLY WOOD; “Chilly” is our incredibly sweet 12.2hh bay gelding with fantastic breeding. Bred on Dartmoor at Shilstone Rocks by my Aunt, we bought him from a friend of the family and he has been with us for 5 years.

Chilly is an absolute superstar of a pony but does need to be kept active otherwise he just shuts off. He is not a novice ride but just needs to know that the person on top means business to keep him thinking forward.

Chilly is COMPLETELY bombproof on the road and my daughter, now 11, happily rides him around the village or out in the open on her own.

He is great on the lead rein and is happy to go first or last, on his own or in company. He has impeccable manners and will stand for hours for grooming and cuddles and allow the children to climb all over him. He couldn’t be easier to catch/shoe/load/travel/clip/Vet/teeth etc and is fully up to date with all this.

He is happy to live in or out and he thrives on fresh air and is superbly cheap to run!

In his previous home he competed in all fields with a young teenager with great success and we want him to go and enjoy more of the same.

He has not been hunting but we think he would love it.

Lara is the most beautiful 8 year old cob. Shod on her fronts only, recently wormed and up to date with teeth and vaccinations.

She is a fantastic pony who loves to be groomed, bathed and fussed over, being our daughters first pony means she has had a lot of this! She hacks with others front or back and happily hacks alone. She is 100% in traffic and has seen everything, including trains. She has seen pigs, sheep, cows and loves chickens and our dogs also. She loads and travels perfectly and has been to shows and won and been placed in all categories from ridden cob to prettiest mare. She’s also done fun rides and is never phased by anything and will often lead others when they are unsure. Her passion however is jumping. She has a huge jump and will jump whatever she comes across, she has given our daughter huge confidence with regard to this.

The only reason we are selling our beloved Lara is her strength. She is not silly or fizzy she can at times just be too strong - our daughter is small and struggles to hold her, that’s it, not sure it can even be called a vice!

Home is paramount, Lara loves to be out and about, it would be heartbreaking if she were just stood in a field.

£2500 please do contact me as I feel no advert can do her justic!

Lovely little sec C for sale no fault of his own but my daughter has no interest at the moment and I have been ill most of the summer. Lucky was bought earlier this year and he's been a delight to have at home.

He is still green and with my daughter did nap at the school gate but she managed to ride him through this, he did have front shoes on whilst he was in more work but the last couple of months has only been ridden every couple of weeks so he's not fit.

He is up to date with vacs and is registered sec c (green passport) Please no time wasters only message me if you are looking to buy I have video of him being ridden today after not being sat on for 3 weeks no lunging was required. Open to vetting
