Looking for a sharer for my 14.1hh 17yo forward going Irish cob mare. She is a well mannered, sweet natured pony who hacks out regularly alone and in company and is good in traffic, incl big tractors, bin lorries etc. Does not rear, nap, buck (ok, maybe a tiny ‘whoopee’ on the stubble!), bolt or jog, she goes nicely off the leg and has a lovely soft mouth. However she can be fizzy and / or spooky at times so is best suited to a relaxed, experienced rider who is used to this kind of cob.

We are on 5-day livery at a very friendly yard in West Meon. There are miles of fantastic hacking on private farmland, tracks and quiet country lanes. Also a school on site for the occasional low level schooling session – but she’s definitely not a dressage diva, lol. She’s very bright and loves Trec training and pole clinics, and she’s a great partner to take on fun rides. I have my own trailer so outings may be an option.

I’m looking at a share for 1 or 2 days per week – ideally Saturday plus 1 weekday. Stable chores (Sat only) and contribution towards keep would be appreciated. Someone reliable, over 18, and max weight 11.5 stone please. Car driver and own rider’s insurance are also essential.

He has sight loss and zero confidence in himself, but he is loving and kind and willing but struggles to understand the world around him. He is only gently ridden with a bareback pad at the moment and needs bringing on.

He will make the perfect project for someone who knows what they are doing and you will have full support from us.

We would love someone who ideally knows how to bring on western horses but gentle English riding is totally fine too.

This is an amazing opportunity for someone who wants a horse but not the full commitment or cost.
Billy is a 16.1hh Thoroughbred that we purchased in April this year for my partner to learn & grow with him with me riding him too.
Billy raced only 3 races, then was purchased by a lovely young girl who unfortunately didn’t have time for 2, Billy therefore had done very little work since last August.
However, when I rode him out before purchasing him around the lanes in April, he didn’t put a foot wrong.
Unfortunately things have not gone to plan, i developed pain just as we got Billy & I’m now awaiting a hip replacement, obviously I am going to be out of action for sometime otherwise I would be riding him.
Hence we are looking for someone to ride & bring him on, in the school & out hacking, potentially having lessons with our instructor. We will be asking for a financial contribution, as it stands currently, the riding is unlimited until my partner is ready to get on.

He will stand happily to be groomed, easy to pick his feet out and tack up. I am looking for a confident adult ideally who enjoys hacking out and light schooling/jumping. He hacks better in company, will go in front, middle or at the back but once he gets to know someone and gets confidence from his rider, he will hack alone. Once he bonds with someone, he will do anything you ask but he is not a push and go pony, he needs a firm but kind rider to get the best out of him. He is based on a lovely yard in fair oak with miles of off road hacking plus outdoor arena with jumps. Also always people to ride with. I am looking for someone lovely to loan or share Jack. He is a gorgeous 13hh gypsy cob. He is 6 years old and I have had him for 5 years. I backed him 2 years ago and he has been a joy to deal with throughout.
He hacks alone and in company. He is happy to lead or follow. He doesn’t bolt, buck or rear, and is excellent in traffic.
He has competed at the no stress dressage competitions and has won many times, being obedient, balanced and well schooled.
He is good to handle. Needs a patient farrier as doesn’t like his front legs being handled, but over time has become more accepting.
I would love for someone to love and enjoy him to his full potential.

Pony is 14'1, max weight 11 stone. Rider needs own insurance, be 18+ and to drive as we are in the new forest and have no public transport.

We have open forest hacking nearby and loads of quiet lanes, I have a trailer so can also box to enclosures. For happy hacking and can also have lessons locally as well. I do fun rides and beach rides with them, and hacking out in the New Forest is beautiful. Ideally to ride out with me as I have 2 ponies to use.


Both ponies are well behaved and easy going, no novices.

Done a little of everything during his 4 years in the military, had some time off due to injury and has now been carefully brought back into work. This absolute sweetheart of a horse is suitable for most riders, from confident novice to riding club levels. He is still gaining fitness so I need someone happy to help achieve full fitness by carrying out various activities including pole work, hacking etc, he likes jumping, but we haven’t done much of that yet, he loads and travels well and is good in wide open spaces and on the roads. Ziggy is a kind, friendly and sociable 14.1hh New Forest gelding, based in Sway with direct access to enclosure and Forest, so no road riding required.

He is a genuine pleasure to be around, both in and out of saddle. He loves gentle hacking, adores being fussed over and is very easy to handle in the ground. I also take him out regularly in hand which he loves - although he will try to seize any opportunity to grab a sneaky snack or browse along the way. He is a much loved, happy pony.
I’ve had him since he was a foal and he is now 11, so he is very relaxed and settled, and does not suffer from separation anxiety. He can go out alone and in company.

He is non- spooky and straightforward, doesn’t bolt, buck or rear.
He is looking for a sympathetic rider to match.
Would especially welcome an older rider who appreciates a slightly gentler pace and simply wants to enjoy a safe pleasant ride, with no ambitions to race around - just a calm, relaxed partnership.
Maximum rider weight for the share is 10 stone.

One thing to be aware of; Ziggy has PSSM1 (a common muscle condition found in some native ponies and other breeds), but please don’t let this put you off. He is very well managed through careful diet and appropriate exercise and rugging, and he lives a full and comfortable life. The only requirement is that you are sensitive to ensuring he is fully warmed up in walk for first 15 minutes or so, before asking for more.

Available to part loan from his yard in wellow near Romsey with good facilities indoor school etc. contribution required of £275 per month for 3 set days a week (one weekend day) and stable duties on your days. We have clinics, riding clubs and small competitions within hacking distance of us. It’s a really friendly yard with lovely people and the hacking is not bad.

The other options available are to full lease either staying at my yard with an annual lease fee of £1000 (plus all the usual costs of keeping a horse: livery, vet and farrier etc) or to move yards where the annual lease fee would be £2000.

I’m looking for an experienced rider for my 14hh cob mare
No novices, not because she is naughty or unsafe, just because she is still young and learning. She needs someone experienced to help her with this. She has been professionally backed and is being hacked twice a week by her trainer currently.

Ideally looking for someone long term as although I bought her for myself (at weaning)she is unfortunately not going to be big enough for me and I want her to have a person.
Due to her age she does have around a 10st weight limit.

Initially looking for someone who will hack her out and enjoy her although more than happy for her to be taken to shows etc as she continues with her education.

She is not for sale or full loan.
Her current yard does not have a school but there is field space and great hacking.
