Description

❤️Chico is looking for another child to love him❤️

Chico is a 11.2 section A and has taught many children to ride.
He is 15 years old. His last sharer shared him for 3 years and he is now looking for his next partner to have lots of fun with.

We are looking for someone to share him and help out.
He s perfect on the lean rein taking many children off the lead rein..first ridden for a capable rider.
We are keen for Chico to get out and about this summer and have lots of fun with the right person.
He has done all low level local things and has hunted in the past, he is also good to lead from another horse.
He loads well, travels well and would stand all day at a show.
He loves a fuss and to be pampered.

We have quiet lanes with the forest very near to hack and a nice riding area in the field.
He isn t for loan and will need to stay where he is as my children still ride him occasionally.

I haven t a bad word to say about Chico as he is a mothers dream and is loved very much!
5 years + please.
An experienced parent a must.

Any questions please email Eloise.hayes111@gmail.com

Description

Someone reliable must want a lovely mare to ride? Really uncomplicated ride, moves off the leg, well schooled, not sharp or spooky, real confidence giver over fences. No complete novices as she can occasionally nap when leaving the yard hacking alone, she only walks backwards. No bolt, buck or rear. Perfect in traffic.

This is a last attempt to find poppy someone willing to be reliable who she can actually build a bond with. Anything from 2-4 days a week. Any days. Lessons and clinics on-site regularly when the riding field is dry enough, people to hack with, full set of jumps in summer jump field. I don t want her bombed around as she is 19 now (although fit and healthy!). She s still happy to go for lovely long hacks and jump.

Lovely on the ground, doesn t kick or bite. Just in general a lovely mare.
Some standard yard duties required on your days.
80 per month.

Description

I am looking for the right person to loan/share my gelding, Junior, due to pregnancy. He is to stay at his current yard in Copythorne. I am not in a rush to find someone for him as the right person is paramount. He is a sensitive 13 y/o, TB x Welsh who is about 15,2hh.

Good to do in every way and really tries to please. Will look after his rider and is never silly or strong. Has done a bit of everything XC, SJ, dressage, group rides, beach rides etc. Safe but forward and responsive.

Would suit someone who would be willing to get to know him and have some fun. Would be happy (in time) for sharer to go to lessons/ events/ clinics.

Not a novice ride due to the fact he tries so hard to please (can get eager when jumping and prefers to go on a longer stride) but would be happy for the right person who is looking to improve their riding through lessons.

Financial contribution required with yard duties to be discussed. Flexible and open to discussion for the right person.

Yard has a floodlit school, instructor on site and good hacking onto the New Forest.

This is a hard decision so please no timewasters. Please be patient and bare with me whilst I respond to enquiries.

Description

This is a very difficult decision but due to personal circumstances, I feel I need to seek a part time sharer/loaner as a start, see how I adapt & potentially go to full.
My boy is 17 & I have owned him all his life, he will never be for sale & I will remain in his life.
However, I am not getting the best out of him or giving him the best he deserves, hence looking for a second person.
He is a 16hh cob x paint horse, he was born in France, his dad was a paint horse in the French Haras.
He is not a novice ride, he can be spooky, he will sometimes throw in a buck or 2 & sometimes (not often!) he is unable to cope at all! On the other hand, he can be a lazy whatsit & be happy to plod along! He needs a confident rider who will cope with any of those moods. He is very loving & loves to be loved.
There is potential for the right person to compete if they d like to.
A financial contribution & help with stable duties will be required, he is to remain at his current yard in Marchwood, there is a floodlit school & good forest hacking.
No time wasters please, this is a hard enough decision as it is.
Please get in touch for any further info.

Description

Sharer wanted:

We are seeking a sharer for a sweet- natured 7yo, 13hh MW coblet mare.

Although a weight carrier type, she is still quite little (with a 15.5 saddle), so she needs a small / lightweight adult rider (I m 5 6 and 9 stone so around this height / weight would be her max).

She has been slowly and sympathetically produced and although is now going nicely under saddle (will not be a world-beater!), is still very low mileage and therefore still green.

She has many firsts yet to accomplish under saddle, including; cantering in the open forest; encountering a stallion; encountering pigs etc etc so ideally these firsts would all be positive, confidence-building events for her in the hands of a quiet, competent, reassuring, calm and experienced rider.

If helping bring on a youngster who is a blank canvas is the type of challenge that you have experience in and enjoy / find rewarding, then please get in touch.

As we will also continue to work her (albeit slowly as producing a youngster is new to me), there are no set days or times. However, for consistency s sake, at least once a week would be ideal (weekdays and weekends are available).

She must stay at current yard.
Direct forest access is available from yard.
Schools available for hire nearby, if wanted.
Own rider insurance required.
Adults only.

Thanks for reading

Description

Socks is a very good looking 16 hh 13 year old Irish sports horse. He really is one in a million and the sort very hard to come by. He is a true all rounder and has jumped newcomers (1.10) double clear and completed the CSI 1* Bronze Tour at Chepstow International (1.10/15). He will jump off any stride and gives his rider a great feeling and lots of confidence. He has also jumped BE90 double clear and loves his cross country. He also really enjoys his dressage and has won at elementary level and learning half pass and changes at home. Socks is a very fit competition horse. I am looking for someone to ride him 4/5 days a week for around 3/4 months whilst I take a break to have a baby. He must stay at his current yard (School Farm Lockerly). We have excellent facilities which include an indoor school, outdoor school, and off road hacking around fields. I would be happy to give lessons and you would have access to the best trainers. I will be very fussy about who is chosen and a financial contribution will be required. This opportunity could suit a junior looking to gain more experience on a larger horse before purchasing their own or someone whose horse is out of action for a couple of months. I am flexible about the arrangement and open to suggestions. Please call 07545499943 to discuss in more detail.

Sharer wanted for a Wednesday and Saturday (daytimes as no electric) each week for 13 year old 14.2 cob based near Blendworth/Finchdean, Hampshire.

He is an all rounder - although jumping would be more on an occasional basis.

He enjoys schooling and hacking (with a confident rider). He likes attention, so if you just want to be around horses without having to ride this may appeal to you. Some recent photos shown above.

There would be some yard duties and financial contribution required.

Weight limit 11 stone
Own rider insurance
Competent & reliable person
Over 21 years old

If you are interested please contact me for more information by email.

Thankyou, Jacqui

Looking for someone to give my gorgeous giant of a horse more love and exercise than I have time for.

Tago, a 17.2hh warmblood / Irish draft based in East Worldham.

He s a gentle giant, very honest and generally chilled. 15 years old now but doesn t feel it. Great to hack alone or with others, with only the odd small spook. He loves jumping and does some nice flatwork with an experienced rider.

I like flatwork best so ideally he d love someone who wants to jump and hack as that s what he enjoys most.

2-3 days a week, happy to include weekend days. Financial contribution required. Must stay at current yard so needs to be someone willing to fit in there. No beginners please as he is big so needs someone who knows what they re doing.

Message me if you re interested.

I ve got a beautiful 16.1hh all rounder that I ve owned for 8 years, he is 13 now. He is returning from his full loan home and coming home but due to pregnancy I m limited on what I can do with him. Therefore I m looking for someone who might be interested in loaning/ sharing. I m very open to hearing preferable arrangements from someone but I would like him to stay where he is at the start just while someone gets to know him. It s something unimaginable right now but should I find the perfect person and having a baby gives me even less time I might consider a lwvtb eventually. He is safe but forward and responsive and never nasty at all but would suit someone with the time and willingness to create a bond with him and have some fun! Please give me a call for any additional information. Amazing to load, ride & lead, hacks out alone or in company. Done a bit of everything, jump, hunt, pleasure and beach rides, you name it.

I ve also potentially got space in my field for an additional horse.

Description

Hoping to find two individuals (or possibly two friends or a couple) to share two horses. We are based in Holbury so anyone interested would require their own transport.
Financial contribution of 25 per week will be required as will basic chores on the days you ride. We are at a lovely quiet yard, we do have some roadwork to get to the forest and a grass school to use in the summer however we do have our own transportation and any potential sharer would be welcome to join for any shows, clinics or lessons we are attending.
Own riders insurance is required and no under 18 s or novices please.

Pebbles is a 16.2hh heavy ID type mare, she worked in a riding school for 8 years and is now currently enjoying the quiet life and is primarily a happy hacker although she is still perfectly capable of flatwork and some jumping, she can really move for a big horse and will always look after her rider.
Despite this I am not looking for a novice to learn to ride on her, she doesn t like heavy hands or being pulled around so I m looking for a gentle capable rider to keep her fit and enjoy spending time with her, she s an absolutely beautiful mare inside and out.

Winston is a 15:1hh Irish Sports Horse, he s an ex Irish hunter so he hasn t had the easiest career up until coming to us. He knows the basics in the school and he is able to pop a small jump however he is not a schoolmaster and he has an old SIJ injury so he will never be a competition horse. He is however completely sound and if bought up to fitness gradually there s no reason he couldn t do a little more than he is currently.
Winston requires a confident experienced loaner,he is a quirky gelding and he really takes confidence from his rider. He will need any potential loaner to come and spend time with him on the ground and build up a relationship as he can be nervous. Once he trusts new people he s very sweet and affectionate and is a fast forward hack and enjoys spending time with people.

Both horses would have the potential to be fully loaned from the current yard after a trial period should that be of interest to a potential sharer.

Completely flexible on times and days for riding, so no set days required.

Description

I have two New Forest mares, who I used to ride out with my friend in the New Forest. Unfortunately, she is no longer able to do this so I m hoping to find someone who is may be retired (I m in my 60 s).

I m looking for someone to ride my finer built Forester, so you d probably be no taller than 5 6 and not over 10 stone.

No children or under 18 s

You do need to be able to ride and be confident.

Winnie is a sweet mare, who was broken during lock down and hacked out at least twice a week and also had lessons and schooling through the summer months. She s ridden in a snaffle bridle and isn t strong.
She is usually always ridden out with the other mare.

I ride the other mare, who is not so good in traffic, so is led the 500yards to the Forest, where my friend helped me on.

Both ponies have been successful in the show ring and I m open to doing some dressage or anything that would be a bit of fun for them.

We are based near Lyndhurst, at a friends house. They are the only two ponies there.

I m not necessarily looking for any payment, just possibly some help with them.

I m very flexible with whatever level of involvement anyone would want to commit to, as getting the girls out riding again is my priority.

Description

Ludo is an 11.2h 9 year old Dartmoor Hill pony. He is good to do anything with load, clip, hack out alone or with others, and good with traffic. He has a lot of character and can be cheeky, but he has a great sense of humour. His previous share was a capable girl who was confident riding and jumping him off the lead rein. Whilst 95% of the time he was good on the occasion he would throw a small buck or run off and stop. He is good on the lead rein just would suit a more confident rider off the lead rein.

Beanie is an 11.2h 9 year old Hill pony. She is the kindest and most loving pony. She is good on the lead rein but she takes a lot from her rider of off the lead. She is happy to hack out alone or in company. She is a lot of fun to ride and would make a really great best friend. Currently being ridden by a very capable rider who has taken her on fun rides and popped jumps.

Previously ridden by two friends of the same riding capability. Would be lovely to have the same dynamic.

Parents must be horsey.

Kept at yard in Swanmore.
Small financial contribution. Limited chores. I am very flexible to ideas/days.

Description

I have a lovely bunch of horses in Fordingbridge who could use more riding. I ve had enough of time wasters so please don t contact me if you don t have transport (no public transport), are under 18 and do not have a responsible adult to sign a share agreement, are just coming out of a riding school or if you don t plan on committing for more than a few weeks.

In return -
Poppy: 16.2 Irish sport mare,18yo but still plenty of life in her. 100% in traffic, not the spooky sort. Doesn t buck rear or bolt. Snaffle mouthed. Happy for her to jump up to 70/80cm. Can have a nap when hacking alone so for this reason no novices. She just goes backwards and won t bother when she knows she can t get away with it. Good ground manners.

Dave: 17hh Tb gelding. Has silly ears and can t neigh. Old man. Loves a walk round the block. Not spooky, great with traffic. Only in light work at the moment due to lack of time so will need someone happy to help fitten him up. You ll need to be experienced with racehorses as he takes a bit of persuading to stop after a canter even though he s old and decrepit. Perfect gent on the ground.

Alfie: 14.1hh Welsh gelding. Very strong fiery pony. Not a children s ride. Excellent jumper and will hack all day. Doesn t bolt buck or rear but is very very forward. You cant be a wet lettuce on the ground as he will completely take the mic if he thinks you re scared.

Skipper: 17hh ID gelding, insanely talented horse. Ex-huntamasters horse, well schooled, jumped up to 1.20m. Can nap hacking alone and will do a little rear if you don t get after him but if you growl at him he goes on - not dangerous by any means. Snaffle mouthed, good on the roads, can be a little spooky as can any horse with blood.

Des: 15hh PRE Spanish gelding. Like a big dog - des is trick trained and will rear and bow on command. He has slight sway back so a lightweight experienced rider is paramount. Des hacks alone and in company and has excellent paces for flatwork working in a natural outline. Des does not jump. He is a natural worrier so you need to be calm and gentle with him and in return he ll be your best friend.

They are all kept on my own yard where there is lovely hacking and people to hack with and a summer riding field with a full set of showjumps. There is the chance to compete or come to clinics and fun rides as I have a trailer.
I would consider full loan from current yard of some of the horses - none of them will be moving so please don t ask.
Riders insurance required, please be honest about your ability.
I m not as difficult to get on with as this add suggests and as long as you re reliable and look after my horses I won t bother you - I m just sick of being messed around.

Financial contribution and light chores required. Set days preferred as people changing days last minute ends up too stressful but can consider shift workers as long as communication is there.

Toddie, 14HH 6yrs, Cob type gelding. Done a bit of everything, XC, S/J, dressage, lessons, hacks, group rides, beach rides.
He is bold and brave whilst jumping, schooling is basic but responsive.
An ideal mother / daughter share.
Looking for minimum 2-3 days per week, happy for loaner to have lessons, go to events or clinics in time.
Well mannered but needs a firm boundary.
No vices at all.
Financial contribution and yard duties to be discussed and agreed.
To remain at current stables in Marchwood which has a floodlit school, forest hacking is easily accessible.

Description

I am on the search for a mature light weight (less than 11 stone) rider to accompany me out hacking.

Novice riders are welcomed as long as you are confident around horses and know how to tack up etc. as it will involve loading my two horses and taking them out as unfortunately the hacking isn t great where they are based. A choice of two very different horses. Opportunity to pamper horse as you please, no yard chores or poo picking.

I can be flexible with days and times and happy for someone who can only commit to a couple of times a month as long as you re reliable.

Must have a good personality and willing to pay a financial contribution.

I'm looking for someone to help out with exercising my pony. She's a 13.2 New Forest pony who is lovely around the yard but can be a bit sharp from time to time when out so not suitable for novices.

We're based within a 5 minute ride of the open New Forest where there is hours of unlimited hacking, and there are local schools available to hire if that's of interest. She has done all sorts in the past (showing/cross country etc) and would be happy for her to do so again with the right person.

I also have a rising three Andalusian who'll be backed this summer who may be available to ride in future too, depending on experience.

I'm not looking for anything in return. Help with mucking out on the days you ride would be a bonus but not essential at all.

Quob Gabriella

Beautiful Welsh Cob mare, currently a muddy field monster! Sadly, due to arthritis, she cannot be ridden, but has lots of potential for in-hand showing, agility, etc. She has had experience of natural horsemanship training and someone who would continue this would be preferred. She is based in Wellow near Romsey, on full grass livery with indoor school. It's a lovely friendly yard! A contribution towards livery costs would be requested, and full insurance would be needed.

Description

Still available 20/3/24 I had to put things on hold for a few months due to family circumstances but please do get in contact if this advert interest you to have a chat...

I am testing the water to see if there is a mature lightweight lady max 9.5 stone who is an experienced horse person previously owned horses before who might want to do some steady hacking on Southdowns close to Marwell?

This is for a 14hh forest pony who has been unwell and coming back into work has just been hacking 20-40km per week for last 6-9 months.

He can be very nervous of new people and needs a sympathetic friend to work with him.

That said I regularly ride him out round the lane with no saddle and just a halter.but he can be a little reactive if unsure snorting tensing but he has never bolted spun etc with me.

Poor to his medical illness he was hunting and sponsored rides but his goal for next 12 months is fitness and hacking.

He is kept at private house and you would need to be independent in caring tacking up etc and be quiet and respectful to the pony and the property.no dogs children.

This is not a loan for schooling jumping competitions but to form a bond and enjoy some quiet hacks on a pony in the beautiful countryside we have on our doorstep.

This would be solo riding as there are no other ridden ponies onsite.
Once you have formed a relationship there may be a possibility of schooling at school I hire to do long reining and pole work with him .

I do not have a fee in mind per month but perhaps contrition towards shoes.

The right person is the most important factor and looking for a long term arrangement.

I did Put an advent up in the summer and got lots of emails from young girls/parents who asked me if they would be considered... I am afraid due to circumstances and situation I require a mature adult.

Must be available week days ( not Wednesday) and some weekend days by arrangements previously sharer used to do Monday and Thursday before we moved out of her area...

You would need to have riders insurance non negotiable ...to cover public liability on the roads .

Please do make contact if you would like to find out more details to see if this might be right for you.. I am not in a rush correct person is so important.

Drop me a email.

I do work shifts and don't have access to email all day so please bear with me.
