Portmore Rico ‘Rocky’ is a 4 year old NF gelding ‘leg in each corner’ type, standing at 14.2, bought from the sales unhandled as a 3 year old in May 2024, education wise he has had all tack and rider on being walked round the yard with no lead where he has been hoof perfect, but don’t have the facilities or time to work on him anymore, he has heaps of potential so is a very sad saleHe can be quite fearful of new people but is a big softie, because of this he has jumped around for the farrier but is improving each time and now getting near perfect, great looking pony ready for someone to put their own stamp on £4000
PLEASE NO MORE TIMEWASTERS OR DEALERS. IT IS HARD TO ADVERTISE AND SEE THIS THROUGH WITHOUT ENDLESS MESSAGING AND EMAILS COMING TO NOTHING. I WANT HER TO GO TO A GOOD LONG TERM PRIVATE HOME This little love is looking for a special new home. Just turned three and has had basic handling. Feet trimmed yesterday and wormed up to date. I am looking for the right home for her as she will need regular and consistent handling now to turn her into the lovely pony she can be. I bought her to break for driving but change of direction forces sale and I don’t want her being a field ornament. She will grow into a nice athletic type who will thrive on work. She is not suitable as a kids pony, she has an attitude which is not nasty but she can be bolshy and not respect personal space. She is a young pony just turned three and will make a fabulous working pony for the right person who is prepared to put time and effort into her. When she isn’t being bolshy she is being sweet and loves a scratch. Comes to call and lives with mares and geldings. Respects electric fence, farrier is a work in progress but if she has a bucket of feed she is fine. To reiterate she will need a relationship building and consistent handling - a blank canvas for someone to put their own stamp on. Price reflects all of the above and home is more important.
Meet Freya .Shes a very sweet natured girl who just needs someone who is going to put more work into her and who has a bit more time on their hands . She has previously raced however was too slow. Freya has quite a relaxed temperament however is like your usual TB and can be forward/strong so not a novice ride. She prefers company when hacking out and will school but needs a confident rider to get her going. She can be slightly stubborn with feet but doesn't kick just stomps. She's great with her teeth and ground manners. Really sad sale as she is a sweet mare with a very lovely character, but with work on my hands just haven't had time to put in the work she needs also lack of confidence. Looking for someone who will really love her and spend the time with her. Any other info and pictures/videos will be provided through whattsapp please .Up for 2.5k or near offer including tack and rugs.Thankyou

13.2 well bred British Riding Pony / top show Pony Star has currently been pony racing for the last two seasons but we have come to the conclusion that she is not very fast !!! Cookie is a pew tor pony brought last year from marketHe is skewbald and has lovely markings He is a yearling and has been geldedHes looking for a new home with someone that has experience with youngstersHe does have a headcollar on and once you get his trust he loves his neck to be scratched! He is nervous and unfortunately I don't have the time for the work he needsHe will make a great companion or a kids pony later onHe moves lovely and jumps wellLooking for a new home £800
George was taken on as a rehab project but sadly my health and circumstances have failed me in continuing this work.He is 10 yrs old and has quite a dubious background resulting in him being in high alert at all times, more akin to a thoroughbred, I believe he needs a routine regimen where he knows what’s happening and at what time and where facilities and others are around to help, sadly I have neither of these as I’m on my own and am on the wrong side of 50 now and my health is failing me.Someone young, experienced and confident would suit this lad perfectly, to give him a routine and take him right back to basics and start again.Given time and patience I am convinced he will make someone a fabulous competition horse as he has shown a lot of scope in jumping, he has jumped a 1.6m fence with ease.If you feel you can offer George the home he desperately needs please contact me, remember George is quite a handful, although not in any way a nasty horse, in fact quite the opposite, he is just in flight mode all the time and my sensibilities are struggling with this.I’m asking for a nominal amount of money for him so he doesn’t fall into the wrong hands again, a 5* home is far more important than money. George will need a lorry of some kind for travel as he has shown to try and jump the breast bar and escape through the jockey door…… this is very importantHe will need someone with a lot of experience, this is crucial.
Rosa is a 12.2hh mare that is possibly in foalshe only has one eye She has been turned out in a field for the last few years lightly handled, although easily caught with food and can put a head collar on and groomIdeal field companion Home more important than price
Looking for the next loving home for my two cobs (mother and son) due to my current health difficulties, which makes this a very sad sale for me. Willow - 15 year old Welsh Section D mare that has been out of work for some time and requires a confident rider to bring her back into work (she used to do dressage and low-level showjumping). She’s good for farrier and easy to rug, groom, etc. She can be a bit nervous but is very quick to come around. She loves to be turned out and is very low maintenance. She’s a great mum to her son and has a very well-natured personality. Up to date with vaccinations. Roughly 14.3 hands.Oakley - 3 year old Welsh Section D gelding who is ready for more progressive training and eventually breaking in. He is a very friendly, happy boy, who is a quick learner and keen to impress. He has very pretty strides and is good for farrier and vet. He loves lots of attention and has a goofy personality that will always put a smile on your face. Up to date with vaccinations. Roughly 14.3 hands.Looking to sell as a pair as they haven’t ever been properly separated. Due to having to give it all up, everything they have will be included (e.g. rugs, fly masks, lunging equipment).
Nervous pony that needs time and hasn’t done much in its life but gets better every day. Would be suited for a confident kid or small adult who wants a fun project. £500
🌟Kevin’s Choice🌟Corkie is a handsome 8 year old 16.1hh TB gelding. Unfortunately, I no longer have the time that he needs due to work commitments, meaning this is a very sad sale. He’s the perfect all rounder with loads of potential!!I have owned him since November 2021. He raced once in July 2021 and came 14 out of 15, so that wasn’t for him! He has a heart of gold and will try his best at anything he does.He is a safe ride but needs a confident rider as he’s inexperienced and can be unsure and nervous of things. Because of this, he isn’t a novice ride and needs a confident quiet rider. He is good to load, just needs patience. Brilliant to shoe, catch and do in all ways!We have competed in low level dressage and he has placed each time! We have also done a couple of clear rounds and gone clear too.Can jump well and has so much potential in all aspects of work. Hacks alone with a confident quiet rider, also hacks with others and will take lead if he needs to or will happily go in the middle or the back of the ride. He is ROR eligible. He does wind suck after eating or treats but this doesn’t affect his ability to work. He has also had a locked stifle previously but this was due to not being in work and has only happened a hand full of times. He does have pads in his fronts for extra support due to thin soles. However, this also doesn’t affect his work.He can be sold with correctly fitting tack if necessary. This was recently checked at the beginning of February.Home is by far more important than price!I would consider full loan to be kept at current yard which is located just outside of Dorchester. There is an amazing, very experienced instructor on-site, so lessons are available. Also plenty of hacking around.£3550 OnoAny questions please ask!
