Description
Giddy is a pony who loves to work, he is never happier than when he is busy and active, and sadly a change in family circumstances means I no longer have the time to give him the work and the outings he requires. I have owned Giddy since a 2yo, and this is an extremely sad saleHe has turned his hoof to many disciplines including show jumping, WHP, XC, beach and fun rides and dressage, riding club, pole clinics etc. I feel he has untapped potential in WHP classes as he is bold and brave over a fence. He has only jumped at unaff/training stakes level with us as we are not jumping people, so is still eligible for novice WHP classes. He is fabulous to hack both alone and in company, not fazed by anything, and is frequently used as a nanny to the younger ponies. Forward going in the schoolHe has been lightly shown over the years but has notched up some good wins at Fell pony breed shows, including being ridden champion and reserve supreme as a novice at the Dorset Fell show, Ridden reserve champion and reserve supreme at the Dunster Fell Show, and the following year (2023) ridden champion and overall supreme. He has also had some good wins at NPS area and agricultural shows in open and junior classesHe has only had a couple of outings the last two years through no fault of his own. He has a zest for life, loves to work and with that can come some over exuberence if he is not worked for a while, so therefore he needs a competent and confident rider to bring out the best in him, which I think is yet to come.He will not be suitable for novices, beginners or small children. A home with previous experience of owning and riding native ponies would bepreferable. The right home is of utmost importance, and he is priced extremely reasonably so that home can be foundUp to date with teeth/vaccinations/physio£5,000Vortex show bridle and Black Country Classic show saddle available by separate negotiation
Looking for a wonderful new home Stunning 4 year old Welsh Section A, dapple grey gelding, 11.1hh.He is by the fabulous Uphill James Fox.Frosty is only for sale as he has been sadly outgrown too soon - my son grew taller, faster! We have brought Frosty on slowly and sympathetically. Frosty lunges (with full tack, pool noodles, carrot sacks) and he long reins nicely. He walks over tarpaulin and other obstacles He loves jumping and is jumping a variety of fillers on the lunge and led. He is good to load and travel. Frosty enjoys hacking and has got used to traffic (including buses, tractors, Lorry’s) bicycles and dogs. He enjoys being ridden through the woods and popping over the odd log for fun!He has recently started basic schooling with a small adult rider (on the lunge and off lead) and my very noisy, seven year old son rides him on the lunge in walk, trot and canter and on the lead-rein out hacking. He is easy to catch (always screams a welcome from both field and stable!) He is a very intelligent little pony and is quick to learn. He is up to date with Vaccinations He likes and responds well to Natural Horsemanship style (he has been trained to both traditional as well)Frosty is a super little pony who will make a wonderful best friend for someone - if they can carry on with the positive education and relationship we have made so far. Looking for a kind, loving and experienced home for this amazing little pony, so he can give his best and enjoy life. Shetland 10hh. Great Kids pony. Paddy is a 14 year old standard Shetland pony. We have owned him for almost 10 years. He has taught my kids all the basics and is now sadly outgrown. He is great in traffic, open spaces on or off lead rein. Happy to go out by himself. He has been to many shows and camps. He does a bit of everything. Very easy in every way. Great with farrier and loading. Will stand to be groomed for hours. £3000. Saddle and wardrobe included. Lots of videos available.
Fury's Golden Boy (Finn)Registered Welsh C (by Brynseion Persimmon out of Tynwydd Golden Gem)Finn is a 13hh, 9 year old gelding. He is sadly for sale after spending the last 2 years being a loved family member for an amateur family. He was originally sold as a ‘childrens first pony’ which unfortunately he is too green for, hence their decision to find him a more suitable and equipped home. To ride Finn is confident and fun, though not silly or dangerous. He is simply green and needs consistency to continue developing in the arena. He has 3 easy going gaits, with the potential to become more flashy if continued to be educated as such. He loves to jump, he will take you into jumps without getting strong or silly. Will take a miss from the rider, quickly and cleverly sorting himself out. He does not take offence to the rider making a mistake, and will approach the next jump with a 'can do' attitude. Has jumped with us up to 50cm - could easily go higher. Outside of the arena Finn has proven to be a consistent hacker both alone and in company. He is not shy about cars/traffic, bicycles etc, more stationary objects that catch his eye! In company he is not buzzy, will happily go behind or in front, is happy to trot away from company, and likewise is happy for company to trot away from him. He will happily canter in open spaces, coming back easily to a trot and walk, without buzzing up or getting strong. He has been XC schooling with his previous family, where he was a bit overwhelmed (it was next to an inter-school netball match, so one could not blame him!). He popped a few logs with enthusiasm, but this is an area where he would most definitely need some more exposure and a confidence giving rider. He is snaffle mouthed at all times. He has also done extensive groundwork, so is perfectly used to long lining on roads alongside groundwork in the arena on 2 lines. Is up to date with farrier, dentist, physio, vaccinations etc. Finns next home would ideally to be educated and experienced pony owners, to continue the good work being put into him. Suitable for a competent, balanced older child/young teen, but would prefer the family to be horsey, or have suitable help to hand. Finn will make a family or individual an absolutely cracking pony. He is fun and lovable, with plenty of personality. He has made massive improvements since being in a professional environment, and does well off of the routine we provide. He will continue to thrive in a similar environment. Veterinary history since being purchased by previous owners can be disclosed to prospective buyers. Inclusive of purchase price is his personal tack and a selection of rugs and miscellaneous products - saddle was purchased new within the last 2 years from a qualified fitter. Reduced to £3,000 to help him find his next family - home more important than price.Happy to continue producing on behalf of new owners also. Videos to be found on my business page https://www.facebook.com/FinkBScEqServices or can be forwarded to prospective buyers.

Skye12.3hh Piebald9yrs old£6000onoA really hard advert to write as he’s so special to us but he’s sadly outgrown. Skye, a true super star 🌟We brought Skye as a confidence booster for my daughter 2 1/2years ago he has done that and more. Although Skye isn’t highly schooled he is happy to walk trot and canter round. He will pop a small course of show jumps and cross country. Skye originally came from a riding school and has since expanded his CV whilst being with us. He has done pony club rallies, Mounted games-including busy county show and being a part of the wining mounted games team at the JCB national pony club championships this year. Beach rides, fun rides, hacking in large groups as well as small, picnic rides, RDA, he leads off of other horse, will go in-front or behind, river rides and camping! My daughter main focus has been mounted games where he has exceeded expectations. He stands on the line isn’t bothered by what’s happening around him and listens to instruction from his rider!Easy to do in all ways. Good to shoe- shod in front, clip, wash/ handle and catch. Endless photos and videos available. A loving home is of upmost importance and we would love to stay in touch. He truly is part of the family that has got my daughter to where she is today.
Fionn (stable name) is an unusual 14hh cremello, Connemara mare. She is 5 years old, well bred & negative for HWSD. Certified double cream gene. Lots of class 1 in her pedigree. She is proving to be absolutely cracking! Ideal PC/RC all rounder or event pony! That is what I bought her for. Fi bred a gorgeous colt last year - a grey buckskin. He is out of a TB called Ninth House. He may also be for sale. He’s already bigger than his mum! Fi was a cracking mum! She was backed this spring & has been bought on slowly. She has now been to stay away camps, & shows bringing home numerous rosettes for SJ & dressage (test last weekend 70.5% - prelim level). She has a bold, neat jump & is proving to love it. Schools over ditches, water, steps, tyres, sunken roads etc. been a star. Completed her first little ODE last weekend (60cm) but schooling over bigger with much scope. She hacks out alone & in company, is good in traffic, loads herself, good clip, shoe. Up to date with jabs, teeth etc. cheap to keep & never sick or sorry. Owned since a yearling, so history known. She is young & green so suitable for competent child or adult. Please no novices she is not a plod. Just now needs more experience & mileage. Wasted with me! So much potential in any field. Would love to see her out winning more rosettes! Happy to live out 24/7 but equally likes her stable. Shod in front only so far. £8500 + tack (saddle Excelle GP nearly new) & rugs available . Lots of photos available.
👀🏡 🚨FINAL REDUCTION TO SEE HIM IN A NEW HOME ASAP 1.5k as he isOR 2k which can inc cost of castration through my vets and staying with me for recovery if needed🚨- ps. He isn’t for sale because of any issues, he’s for sale due to my own circumstances and giving up horses..Reggie is a big beautiful black full up 14.2hh (still growing so may make around 15hh) welsh D colt with 4 even white socks and a nice big blaze. This substance, quality and bone on this horse is super. He has 3 correct paces, lunges, long reins and has been sat on and ridden up and down the yard. He has been turned out with another colt since they were 6 months old and he is stabled next to my other stallion and been in a field next door solely split by electric fencing. He’s super and respectful with good manners although can be a little pushy at times but this is just babyness, doesn’t take much to put him back in his box. He’s good for the farrier, vet, clippers, loading, dentist etc. easy to do in all ways.He is basically a giant golden retriever who loves fuss and attention. He’s been handled, groomed and bathed by kids. You couldn’t ask for a more loveable pony. Now, the down side is that Reggie’s feet weren’t maintained the best growing up which meant he was toed out when I bought him. He was coming up short in front so decided to do a lameness work up. This led to X-rays and MRI and he had terrible foot balance and slight puffiness to his coffin joints. We have done some remedial trimming and he has thin pads and wider heeled shoes in front and barefoot behind which have made all the difference. He is now sound and continuing with some basic education. Vet mentioned on steroid injections in his coffin joints but as he is sound as is we have chosen not to for the time being. Sadly this is something that is going to need to be maintained and kept on top of with regard to farrier and work but if looked after appropriately he will be the most phenomenal ridden pony. All reports and MRI & X-ray images are readily available to anyone interested. He has full trot up, lunge and free schooling videos pinned to the top of my Facebook!Home is definitely the most important thing for Reggie!
🌟 Oakleybubbling of Wales 🌟8-year-old SPSS chestnut mare | 12.2hhA beautifully bred mare with exceptional dressage and show pony lines — a real asset to any stud, proven as broodmare, or a fabulous prospect for the ridden classes. In the right hands, this pony has the talent to go right to the top.Lightly started: has worn tack, lunged, lead off another horse and long-lined — otherwise a genuine blank canvas ready for someone to put their stamp on.Shown in-hand with success and always in the ribbons. Her movement is so impressive with elegant, floating paces and real presence. She has the temperament to excel as:🦄 A children’s show pony🦄 Dressage or showjumping pony🦄 Pony club/games ponyGood to travel in lorry or trailer, easy to handle and catch, turns out in mixed herd, stables or lives out happily. She is handled by novices, kids and adults. Laid back loving mare and enjoys cuddles (especially from my 7yo).No sweet itchNo laminitisNo known vicesShe would be a super winter project for someone to bring on for next season.Only available due me breaking my leg forcing some tough decisions.Based in the New Forest£2,200 (offers considered)
14.1hh, 15 years old, grey mare.Cally is the perfect pony for a confident small rider wanting to have fun competing or just riding at home. We have owned her for nearly four years and she is now sadly outgrown. She has been ridden by my daughters from the age of 12 to 16 years old, small adults and the odd lead rein passenger! She has done pony club camps, rallies, riding club, eventing, showjumping, hunter trials, dressage, arena eventing, loves a beach ride, unaffiliated competitions and will generally give anything a try. She's competed at Pony Club Regional Championships and Sunshine Tour Championships.Cally enjoys jumping and has previously competed at 90cm. She has recently stepped down to 70/80cm to suit her rider and I would say this is a good jumping height for her. She is forward going but not strong and suits a confident rider as she gains confidence from her rider. She's good to hack alone and in company (we hack her most days), can be a bit 'looky' but always safe and good in traffic/ tractors etc. Lives in or out (currently out at night and in during the day). Would prefer company but wouldn't suit a busy livery yard environment. Likes a stable in bad weather.Good to shoe, clip, load, catch. Up to date wth vaccinations, teeth etc. £7,500 5* home only
Aldridge Bertie. 13.3h 5 year old new forest pony. I am genuinely so sad to be posting this advert for this gorgeous boy. We have had Bertie since he was a foal but unfortunately he has not quite make the height I needed and my circumstances for continuing his education have significantly changed. Bertie has been a joy to start , he is very intelligent and learns new things very quickly without any stress . Bertie has been started but definitely not completed. I have gotten him to the stage of walking and trotting around the field (only once) this last April so he needs someone to continue his education to get him to his full potential. The only thing I haven’t done with him is any trailer training. He has been in the trailer 4 times and traveled loose in the box without much fuss.He is a quick learner so I don’t think this would be an issue for him when someone teaches him the traveling ropes! Bertie is good with the farrier , the vet, good with traffic, good to catch, loves fuss and will follow you around all day. He really will make someone a super little pony. Any questions , please don’t hesitate to send me a message. £1,500 Ono
🎀 Whiteleaze Secret Charm 🎀STRIKING CUSOP DIMENSION 128 MAREBunny is a 13yo show/dressage pony who loves her work. Would suit a lead rein or 1.5 - 2nd ridden job.Bunny has an incredible cv having won royal Windsor, Devon county, and second at hoys, with loads more on her record. A quick google of her name will tell you more. My 11yo has taken her to local/unaffiliated dressage and she’s always in the ribbons. She does take her confidence from the rider so 1.5 for confident rider or would be great doing lead rein.Bunny is a fun to hack and not spooky. We regularly hack around the farms surrounding our home. Schools beautifully, scopey jump but is a little less confident 50cm upwards, though this is no problem with a confident rider.Does have EMS, easily managed with right medication, soaked hay and off of grass. Currently stabled overnight and in grass free paddock in the day. Stands to be groomed all day, loves the fuss.Sad sale as my daughter is looking to slow down with riding, we adore Bunny so 5* knowledgeable home only. Would consider loan to the right home
Farriers Festival 3year old Gelding Forest Bred Festival is a 3 year old bay gelding by Aussie out of Farriers Fiesta. He is well put together with lovely movement, quiet to handle and lead. He has been shown successfully in hand and behaved beautifully each time out. Festival is deep bodied, standing at approximately 14hands with growing left to do. He has not yet started his ridden career and is only for sale as there are currently other youngsters on the yard that we are focusing on. £3,000 Ono
12 year old registered New Forest Mare for sale.Sire Brookshill MustangDam Longdown Hawthorn BerryGinny is a very pretty mare with a beautiful nature and excellent conformation. She is very easy to handle and has good manners. She happily lives in or out, with mares or geldings. She is good to catch, load and travels well, good for the farrier and vet and is a sweetie to have around. She loves a fuss and a pamper. She enjoys having a job and loves going out. She hacks alone or in company, goes first or last and is good in traffic. She has been competing at walk and trot dressage and is ready to do a prelim test. She loves jumping, although this is not our thing, she has jumped up to 70cm and with a little work she would happily go out and compete.Has been away for the weekend and is well behaved at shows.Ginny would suit a kind, quiet, experienced young rider or a lightweight adult that could give her confidence when she needs it. This does not happen often but there are occasions when she looks to her rider for reassurance. No novices or competitive pony club homes, as she is used to being ridden by adults and a teenager who has just concentrated on local unaffiliated classes. She can be a typical mare, and is not a fan of horses zooming past her in all directions, or very large vehicles, so needs a rider who can manage her when this makes her tense and reassure her that she is ok! She is a mare that will give her heart and soul, and try her best for you with anything that you ask. Very sad sale after 2 1/2 happy years together and will only be sold to a loving 5* home that can treat her like a princess that she is!Up to date with vaccinations, teeth, saddle check. Lots of video and photos available. Please Whats App for more infoComes with all tack and wardrobe.£7500 ono as new pony has been found.
