NFED Classified Help & Frequently Asked Questions

Breaking Rules or Causing Problems

To provide a fair service to all users & stop adverts being constantly replaced to keep them at the top of the list (bumping), any repeat wanted or offered advert or items previously advertised within the last two months DO NOT qualify as free ads.

If a free advert is removed & replaced before two months, the new advert will not be approved without payment & the old advert cannot be recovered.

Having multiple duplicate ads may also cause your advert to be rejected.

Fair Usage Limits Are

  • 15 FREE advert submissions in any 30 day period.
  • 30 active free ads at any one time.
  • Two calendar month minimum before replacing a free ad.

These limits should be sufficient for private sellers, whilst stopping the classifieds being bombarded with tack room or house clearance ads where all items are advertised individually, pushing all other adverts down the list. This limit may be extended for genuine advertisers with a good record.

Advertisers are entirely responsible for monitoring their own usage, although there is no automated system the administrator will check frequent advertisers.

Multiple Identities
Please don’t think that by using a different identity, false name or Email address you can get around the system or increase usage limits, it only wastes our time & yours. If there is a genuine reason, please contact us. Records of all adverts are kept, if we notice any suspicious behaviour the advertiser will be placed on a watch list.

Free ads are provided at our expense entirely at the administrators discretion, cheating the system to avoid payment is theft & will not be tolerated.

Changing Adverts
We DO NOT allow animals or items to be replaced or added after approval. When an advert is approved, it is for the animal/s or item/s originally submitted only. (This is clearly explained in the guidelines which must be accepted before an advert can be submitted).

If the advert is changed to a different item or animal, the price increased to over the free advert threshold or no longer qualifies as a free advert for any other reason, the advert will either be deleted or suspended until payment is received. No refunds are given for advert removed for the above reason.

Breaking Rules or Causing Problems
Anyone deliberately cheating the system, breaking rules, using multiple identities, acting, advertising, or trading dishonestly, canvassing, ignoring guidelines, being abusive, harming the good reputation of the NFED, or causing problems in any way whatsoever will have existing adverts removed without notice & will no longer be permitted to use our services. Any refunds will entirely be at the administrator’s discretion.

CKArt-NFED has discretion as to which ads or advertisers are in violation of these guidelines. If you are prepared to cheat us or our users, we don’t need you here and politely suggest you go elsewhere.
