NFED Classified Help & Frequently Asked Questions

Can I stop my ad from going on Facebook?

We completely understand that not everyone is happy for their adverts to go out on the NFED social media pages & we can stop any advert or post from being featured, providing we are told before the advert is approved.

If the advert has already been posted or featured, we can quickly remove it from any or all of the social media pages for you.

Any featured adverts that do go on the NFED Facebook page will not link to a Facebook profile or give any personal details unless they are shown in the advert text. This is very different & far safer than posting the advert directly on Facebook yourself.

Only the advert title & some limited text is shown, viewers will still have to follow the link to the full ad to contact the advertiser privately in the normal way. This does tend to remove any of the usual problems involved with advertising on social media.

If you would like any adverts or details removed from the social media pages, please contact us & we will remove them as soon as possible.

NOTE: Stopping the advert from being featured, will also stop the advert from appearing on the NFED home, schedules pages, event calendar & RSS feed.

We can't stop an advert being shared by someone on their own profile page. Anyone can copy a website url & post it on social media. This is completely beyond the control of the website concerned & should be reported to the social media company directly if there is a problem.
