NFED Classified Help & Frequently Asked Questions

Changing the Advert Category

To avoid abuse of the classifieds, the category cannot be changed by the advertiser after the advert has been submitted. If the advert has not yet been approved, simply start again with a new advert in the correct category.

If the advert has already been approved, please contact the administrator. Remember to include your advert title or number & which category you would like it moved to.

To change a category, the classifieds will be taken offline for a short while to edit the database. As this can inconvenience users, database updates are normally carried out first thing in the morning when the site is still quiet.

If you have posted a free advert in the wrong category, there may be a delay in approval until the category has been corrected.
