18" Heritage Working Hunter Saddle in Brown with Two-tone Buffalo Printed leather to the skirts and flaps.
Currently adjusted to wide ( which can be altered by Heritage ), lovely wide gullet and very little use.
Some wearing to the buffalo printed skirts and marking on the seat surface. These areas don't show when mounted. Purely cosmetic.
After I purchased I sent the saddle back to Heritage to have it thoroughly checked over, mainly to check the tree it is sound and safe. Also had some minor stitching redone, I also had a new latex seat put in the saddle whilst the saddle was compleately stripped down,this cost me an additional £300.
Sadly doesn't fit my boy 100%. He has quite a high wither and this saddle doesn't suit him, no flocking adjustment will fix this. The front of the tree is to low for him.
Would probably suit a horse with a less pronounced wither maybe an Irish Draft or a Native with big shoulders and a flatter back.
I understand the lady I purchased it off of had it on a Welsh D cross with a slight wither.
This is a very looked after sound saddle. It is now an extremely comfortable saddle to ride in with the new latex seat.
