Stormy is a 13.1h coloured cob mare who is 7 years old. She was bought as a first pony who has taken her small, 11 year old jockey who couldn’t even rise to the trot to happily jumping and galloping around the fields and in open spaces within weeks. She is polite in all ways and will happily go on the lead rein for smaller children or step up to be a second pony who loves her job and she is not a plod.
Stormy has been to shows with her previous rider and loves her jumping. She is not phased by dogs, farm animals, traffic or machinery, cyclists, trains and on her first ride with us she was faced by an artic and didn’t flinch!
She is a great all-rounder and deserves to be going out and about having fun. She is more than happy hacking alone or in company. Quiet with children on the ground.
Loads and travels well, good to catch, good with the farrier, happily lives with others or happily stays in whilst the others are out. Cheap to keep – good feet no shoes required.
