🐴 Rocco
15.2hh Irish Cob
5 years old

Rocco is a lovely, genuine young horse who is looking for a sharer at his current yard in Christchurch.

He is a really enjoyable horse to ride and loves getting out and about. He hacks both alone and in company, can go in front or behind, and is good with traffic. He has seen lorries, buses, tractors, motorbikes and plenty more and generally takes everything in his stride.

He has done beach rides, cross-country schooling, hacking and flatwork. He is only 5 but has already experienced lots for his age.

Rocco is naturally forward when asked but does not need constantly kicking or pushing. He could suit a novice rider as long as they are confident, kind and gentle-handed.

As he is still young, I am looking for someone who is consistent and will not allow him to get away with things. He is not dangerous or silly, but he does need someone who is going to give him clear boundaries and be consistent with him.

He is lovely to handle on the ground and has a really nice nature. He enjoys attention and spending time with people and is the sort of horse you can build a really good relationship with.

Share details:
• Ideally 3+ days per week
• £15 per day
• Poo picking on your days
• Rider insurance required
• Proof of valid insurance required
• Must stay at his current yard in Christchurch

The yard is quiet and relaxed with good hacking nearby.

Rocco is currently advertised for sale, but I’m in no rush to find him a new home. If I find the right sharer, I’m happy to keep him over the winter and see how things develop. I would also consider a loan with a view to buy (LWVTB) for the right person.

He is very loved, so finding the right person is really important to me. I’m looking for someone who will enjoy him and treat him like their own. ❤️
