The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Instructor to join our team. You will support our instructors in delivering engaging, confidence-building riding lessons and help ensure the smooth daily running of the yard.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with teaching lessons and leading groups or individuals under supervision Helping with pony preparation, grooming, and tacking up Supervising riders and ensuring safety at all times Supporting yard duties such as mucking out, feeding, and general care of ponies Providing a warm, welcoming experience for clients and visitors Requirements:
Must be available weekends and at least 15 hours per week Confident working with children and ponies of all temperaments Friendly, positive attitude and good communication skills A willingness to learn and work as part of a team Some previous experience in a riding school or equestrian setting is desirable Relevant qualifications (e.g. BHS Stage 1 or equivalent) are an advantage but not essential
