Ziggy is a lovely straightforward pony, who is looking for a home where he can be loved and have adventures.
Ziggy has proven himself to be safe and steady. Out hacking alone or in company he is unphased by traffic, is happy in the front, at the back or in between. He has been cantered in open spaces with livestock and remained his usual safe and laid back self.

Ziggy is a safe ride for competent or rusty adults and children, or novices/small children on the lead rein. He is happy to be lead off another horse or have horses led from him. He responds very well to voice.

He is good on the ground, including vet, farrier, dentist, bath, travel, clip and catch.

Ziggy is barefoot, a good-doer, with no history of laminitis. He’s up to date with dentist and vaccines.

Ziggy would suit a knowledgeable family home who could introduce Ziggy to new adventures, I think he would be great at Trek, pony club or riding club activities. Equally Ziggy would be great for someone who is getting back into having horses and simply enjoys hacking and fun rides.

We want Ziggy to be in a home with other horses for company so will not be going to a home where he will be on his own.

Ziggy is very low mileage, he was professionally backed at 4, then became a field ornament with his previous owners. Unfortunately, due to his previous owners changed circumstances I took him on last year and have slowly brought him back into work which he has taken to like a duck to water.

Due to him being a little small for me he spent last winter and spring on loan with a family, where he did a lot of hacking ridden by various family members of different levels of ability and became a loved member of their family, not putting a hoof wrong the whole time he was with them.

His loan home was never going to be permanent and so he came back this summer. Ziggy is looking for a new permanent home with someone or a family.

The right home for Ziggy is important to me, so I would like to come and see potential new homes before selling him.
