If you are looking for a fun pony to enjoy who has been there and done it all in showjumping/dressage and clinics etc then Izzy will suit you down to the ground. This 18 yr old mare has been with us for 2 years and in that time has taken my just turned 12 year old to everything including the Pony Club Champs at Hickstead and qualified for Bicton, won dressage series, given arena eventing a go as well as coming 2nd at the Lucinda Green XC academy at Tweseldown.
She is most comfortable at 70/80 but she will jump up to 1m with ease at home. She does hack but she can be a bit spooky on her own (tractors need to stop for her to go past) so although she has hacked a fair amount with us we mainly stuck to other work.
This pony loves to work and if you keep her busy she will give you so much in return.
She needs field company - she doesn't like to be left in a field without being able to see a friend as she gets upset, however, she will happily be on her own at a show with other horses - stands around all day with a haynet.
Would suit a competent older child or mother daughter share. No beginners please.
Our circumstances have changed and she owes us nothing so are in no rush to sell - we want her to go to the right home
