16.1 6yr old tb mare, unraced. She has had a slow start in life, coming to us unbacked last year. This seems to have set her up with a calm, level headed outlook on life as she has taken everything in her stride as we have produced her slowly this year.
Not your typical tb! A real leg in each corner, sturdy, takes up the leg kind of mare.
She has a quiet, sweet temperament, lovely manners on the ground and is a brilliant steady hack in front or behind. Will ride and lead out or be led. She’s completely unfazed in the heaviest of traffic and has been to the New Forest and is good with the ponies, cows etc.
In the school she has 3 balanced paces and a confident, steady jump.
She has recently been out to a few competitions; showjumping, arena xc and one day event where she has behaved impeccably.
She is still a little green away from home and sometimes needs the riders help if she looses concentration in the ring, but she has a great attitude and proved to be very bold out on the xc course.
We have no doubt this will only improve with every outing as her confidence grows.
This horse would be a great confidence giver for someone looking for a safe hack/low level competition horse, or would be a great opportunity for someone able to continue her development up through the levels.
