Very sad sale of a much loved approx. 13.1hh pony. He will only be sold to the very best of homes.

Portmore Furze (Roo) is a part bred new forest with green passport. He was bought as a 2nd pony for daughter 5 years ago but has been back with previous owner for last 3 years as started becoming a little stiff behind when being asked to do more intensive work ( jumping etc). He was given a year off and has been completely sound for last 2 years doing light work (walk/trot/lead rein) with current rider.

He is good to catch, handle and groom. Loves a fuss. We found him a little difficult to load when travelling alone but fine with company. Despite being from New Forest Roo dislikes crab flies so ideally a home away from them! Can live out 24/7 but we previously stabled at night in winter.

We think he would be good for any light work with a lightweight rider.

£1500 including saddle bridle and many rugs! A kind, loving home is priority so he will not be sold unless we can be confident this can be offered. Photos are not all recent ones as he is not kept with us currently.

Absolutely no dealers. No loans as want to find him a permanent home.
