Fordingbridge area.

Space for one very quiet mare to join our small herd of four who are all calm and good doers, ideally on a DIY basis (however assistance can be provided at extra cost) on a small private happy hacking/retirement yard in a unique private estate location in the Fordingbridge area. The yard is such a beautiful calm place and we need a very special horse and owner to join us.

The ideal horse would need to be:-

Calm and well mannered

Non dominant

Respectful of fencing

Good to catch

Be well behaved in stable

Able to be left alone in stable or field (if others are out hacking or just up at the yard being fed etc

Suitable for retirement/happy hacker/companion horse

Now for the the ideal owner!! You will need to be:-

Kind and trustworthy

Able to poo pick daily

Must see to their horse at least once a day (unless discussed otherwise)

Happy to share the load when anyone on holiday and general yard duties

Respectful

Friendly disposition and good sense of humour and, who just wants a lovely place to enjoy their horse.

We will not tolerate any of the usual shenanigans that can go on at yards - any yard politics, nasty rude behaviour, anyone that thinks their horse is better than everyone else's, or who doesn't care for their horse properly

You will need to have public liability insurance, your horse will need to be registered with a vet and up to date with all vaccinations.

The Yard Team: Very experienced led by onsite Equine Sports Therapist. We have regular visits from Vets inc Donnington Grove Hospital which is 20mins away, Remedial AWCF Farrier, Saddle Fitter and Equine Dentist to support your horse.
