Ask x Fennor Rose
15.2hh 7yo TB mare.
Unraced
Came to us in poor condition, now looking really healthy and ready to go.
Easy to handle and load, travels well.
Might need a likit to stand for farrier, but this will improve with time and handling.
Ridden previously by young girl who hacked her in company. Said to be a nice ride with the odd nappy moment so will need someone confident and experienced.
Needs to be shod for work as doesn’t have the best feet.

£2000

Description

Meet Murphy, aka Mockbeggar PingPong; a very smart looking 14hh grey.

He is your typical native breed, cheeky but loving.
We have owned him for the past year having purchased to back and produce; whilst he definitely has the potential to make a cracking pony he does have one quirk that means we do not think he is suitable to ride.
Respectful of all fencing, up-to-date with vaccinations, teeth, etc. Recently front shod due to current location. Sociable with both mares and geldings and used to farm machinery.
He is a sweet boy and the right home is paramount.
Based Newtown/Soberton.
£1200 ono.

Description

Enzo

If you’re looking for a perfect pony keep scrolling as this isn’t what you’re looking for…..

Enzo is a 14’2” 10yr old tb x quarter horse chestnut gelding that occasionally identifies as a mare. He happily lives in or out with mares/geldings/sheep/cows or on his own. He’s done a little bit of everything in his life but enjoys being a happy hacker the most or rounding up cows. I have taken him to local cross country and showjumping clinics . We relocated earlier this year and he’s living on his own at a little yard and is un phased about this.
Hacks alone and will box in a trailer to be hacked about the countryside. He is nervous in traffic when on his own and I will only ride in company on the roads as he takes confidence from the other horses.

Sounds great?! Well the less great parts….
Terrible conformation and small feet that grow poor quality horn. As a result he can’t be shod as his feet spilt around the nails and the shoes fall off. I manage this without issue by riding in scoot boots and monthly trims.
Needs a fly rug in the summer as dislikes flies and definitely needs rugs through the winter.
Hates being clipped, gets twitchy/bolshy but I’ve clipped him every year with patience and have succeeded
Kicks while eating, which if you’re not expecting can be alarming. I do change his rugs, groom him and skip out around him while he eats and it’s never an issue.
Out hacking he will occasionally try it on and by this I mean he will decide that a blade of grass is facing the wrong way and start snorting at it and then require coaxing forward. Some days he will try and do a 180 from said blade of grass but this generally comes with a lot of warning and can be prevented. He’s never reared, bucked or bolted with me. Mostly he’s pretty lazy to ride and is more than happy to walk everywhere. Due to work commitments he’s in minimal work hacking out once a fortnight.
Enzo is a pretty tolerant pony, last summer I was jumping him without a bridle over small show jumps but at times he can be pushy and crabby like a mare. It is the upmost importance that Enzo goes to someone that won’t be intimidated by ginger moods and doesn’t think they can beat him into submission.
He has a full wardrobe and tack.

Located Wiltshire. Home more important than price, no dealers.

Due to terrible reception please WhatsApp

Description

Ava is rising 5 yo this year and is ready to start her ridden work. She has the most amazing sweet temperament with a little of the Arab spirit, and is the first to come and greet you from the field.
Ava has quality breeding: her sire is the stunning Ali Aljassimya and her dam Zas Bahiyaa Estasha. She is CA and SCID clear.
Ava is approximately 14.2hh. She is very showy with exceptional movement; a blank canvass for someone to put their mark on her.
She is great to catch and lead, and is good with the farrier.
Ava takes confidence and reassurance from her leader and once she has your trust she will give you her all.
Ava loves attention and just wants to please you all the time.

Her asking price is £4500.

Peach

13.1
Registered Welsh section C
4 year old
Mare

Peach has been professionally broken this year and is ready to further her education, she has been started slowly and at her own pace, she has not been over worked in the school. Very bold out hacking alone, good in traffic just needs more experience with large vehicles.
With more time and education Peach will make a super pony for someone, she has 3 correct paces and a good jump (she hasn’t jumped under saddle yet)
Peach has a lovely temperament and is very easy to do on the ground, kids can catch her, lead her in and brush her by themselves. Cheap to keep and will live in or out, not marish with other horses, will turnout alone or in company.
Up to date with jabs, teeth, worming and farrier.
Peach will not be sold to a novice due to the fact she has only been under saddle for a few weeks and needs someone experienced to further her education and she can be typically Welsh at times
West wittering, West Sussex
No time wasters!

Description

Lords Oak Apache a bay registered New Forest Gelding 14.2hh
A really beautiful pony with great confirmation and lovely movement in all paces
He will make a lovely show pony

Harry has been with me for 4 years and is a gorgeous pony who is very smart and can be sharp
He has not done much in his time with me as we ve taken things slowly due to him being a sensitive soul and me not being a confident rider
I have done a lot of ground work in hand and trust building with him due to him being a nervous chap
He was professionally backed in April 2021
He has been ridden on the forest both alone and with company
He has been to a novice jumping clinic
He has been on a beach ride and done lots of road work.
He has done well in dressage in our school at home at Intro & prelim level
He loads well, is good with the farrier and lives in or out.
He really is easy to keep

He was already a nervous chap and after a fall it has left us both lacking confidence
Despite our best efforts to build our confidence back he remains very nervous under the saddle and my nervousness is not helping him.
He has not been ridden for months as the last person who rode him fell off so he is being sold from the field having not been ridden for months hence the price

He needs a calm, kind and gentle rider with lots of experience to take him further in his education and spend time helping to get his confidence back

I m so sad to be selling Harry but feel he needs someone with more experience and confidence to bring the best out in him

I would consider a loan for the right person as his long term future is my highest priority
Due to the time it will take for his recovery and as he has not being ridden for months he is 2500 ONO

I have videos of him in the school, jumping clinic and others on request

Description

Lexi is sadly for sale due to a change of personal circumstances. Lexi is a fully vaccinated 5 year old, 14 3hh, piebald cob mare and is still very green. She needs a well educated forever home with people confident on the ground and experienced enough to ride a young horse. She can be a little mare-ish around her back end but she is super cuddly otherwise and utterly devoted to me. She is a bit of a one person pony but she's very good for the farrier (barefoot), dentist, helpers and vet etc. She loves my small children paying her attention over the fence and stable door! She did her first hack in the Autumn where she had her first experience with cars, trailers, other horses going past and she didn't put a foot wrong. She travels and loads well in my trailer. She lives in a mixed herd and is definitely the queen! She has lived out 24/7 but this year she wintered in, with daily turnout, due to the ground conditions. She is so eager to please and is coming on in leaps and bounds even though she had a bad start in life. I bought her full of worms, from a flooded field on her own, with inexperienced owners who has sent her away to be backed at 2.5yrs. I ve spent the past 2 years helping her remember that she can trust people and enjoy life. She's had lots of ground work using long reins, some lunging, ridden schooling and her first hack. I have just started her ridden work again after giving her the winter off but I don't have the time to put into her now, so her training is a few days a week at most. She has been an angel while I have been bringing her back into work, I will start hacking her again soon when time permits. I am looking for someone who will continue to bring her on, slowly building up her strength, fitness and confidence with a sympathetic approach. She may not warm to new people immediately but she is so rewarding and becomes devoted to the extreme. Her new home needs to be where she can be part of a herd. I will not let her go to a yard where she will be isolated from other horses. She's a gorgeous girl with a lots to give but she is not a novices pony yet. She just wants to be loved. Please no time wasters! A five star home is essential. We will miss her so much. 3500

Description

Coco has the potential to be very competitive Eventing, Dressage, SJ or PC allrounder.

As a youngster she was shown successfully in hand in SP and SHP classes including winning at County Level. She then went on to breed two very smart foals.

Coco was then backed in the Summer of 2023.

She has attended PC rallies, XC schooled, competed SJ and dressage. She has beautiful paces and lovely jump. She is very willing and in the right home will be very competitive.

Coco is good to hack alone and in company, also good with farrier and clipping, and travels and loads well. she is easy to deal with on the ground and a real sweetie to deal with.

Coco is still very inexperienced so would not suit a novice, she is also more of a competition type then a kick along.

Owner is keen to sell due to her cost of livery. Home is the most important.

*NEEDS TO GO ASAP*

I ve made the super sad decision to sell my newly 7 year old, 14.2 Connemara Tennessee. Ten is the sweetest horse and the sale is due to me starting my second year at university and knowing how much busier I m going to get.
He needs a confident rider as he can throw a few bucks in, but only because he s exited. He loves his jumping, which includes both showjumping and cross country (up to a meter) but he needs to build up stamina for both.
Based in Andover (Hampshire) and would like to get the sale done as soon as possible TO THE RIGHT PERSON as his current loan will be ending soon.
Selling Ten is super tough decision for me because he is such a good boy with so much potential that I cannot offer him at the moment.
Happy to hack and live out both alone and in company
- Price on request - finding the right home with the right rider is the top priority.
- loads and travels well with encouragement of food (he s a big foodie)
- easy to catch, will stand there and wait for you
- lives out 24/7
- can hack alone or in company
- can do gates easily on a hack
- easy to shoe but needs a haynet to keep him occupied as he gets bored and is not the most patient (the same with grooming, if you have a haynet he stands perfectly still and lets you do whatever, if no haynet just moves around a lot)
- very good to clip
- all tack and rugs (Lemieux) are included

Description

Skye is a 6 year cob mare, 13.3 hh bitted and used to having a saddle on, I have ridden her in the school a handful of times last year so will need to be started from scratch, up to date with teeth and jabs, currently unshod but used to farrier as has regular trim, walks out in hand with company, currently lives out with mares and geldings, I have had her since she was 8 months old and have pictures of both her dam and sire. She likes to be fussed and groomed. She learns quickly.

I was taking things very slowly with her but since losing my older horse I am giving up altogether.

Description

Bambi is 2 years old , passported and recently had feet trimmed.

very pretty filly but currently in winter woolies!

good for farrier
good to load and travels well
good to handle
ideal spring project
will make a fantastic kids pony once grown and matured.
had tiny kids sit on her and a cub saddle on.
walked out o roads and has proved very good.

sold as a project NOT a lead rein pony ready to go. she's still a baby .
one of her back feet turns out a little when she stands certain angles, so won't make a perfect show pony confirmation wise, this may straighten up as she grows.

no offers as paid more but time of year reflects price.

she looks like a real life Barbie pony :)
