Description

The beautiful Stanray Arwyn
Full up 13hh with floaty movement and a personality to die for.

This is an incredibly hard decision for us, but due to a variety of personal circumstances we know we need to find him a more experienced home, with someone who has the time and facilities.

He is a little bit of a project in that he is only in very light work and will need re-starting slowly to build up his fitness. In the past he has been used as a lead rein pony & happy hacker, including some sponsored rides with a small adult. He has jumped cavelleti poles in hand and enjoyed it. Would do a lovey dressage test.

Honesty area Ė he came to us as a bit of a project, we discovered he had both laminitis due to excessive weight and ulcers due to over stabling. He has now scoped clear for ulcers and his laminitis is very well managed, with no further bouts. This does mean, however, that he needs to live out with a controlled diet of fully soaked hay and fast fibre. More than happy for full veterinary disclosure to evidence the fact that he is well and ready to work.

Like most welshies he will try to take advantage to a small degree, but this is no issue with quiet, firm handling.

Homes will of course need to be vetted, references & contract needed.
We also have references for your reassurance.

Knowledgeable, loving homes willing to cater for his dietary needs only. NO NOVICES

Full tack and wardrobe can be negotiated

Description

Lovely 13.2 mare offered for permanent companion home on full loan basis. 24 years old this year, no health problems. Excellent to handle in all ways, very quiet kind mare. Seeking luxury companion home who will take good care of her not to be chucked in a field without regular checking and cuddles/grooming. she needs dust free haylage in the winter and prefers to live out all year round. Easy to do in all ways.

Must be within New Forest/Hampshire area so we can visit her occasionally, happy to continue to pay for her veteran insurance. No rush so will only let her go to perfect loving home, she grazes alone at the moment and isnít in work so would be better off with a little friend to live with.

Could possibly be lightly ridden by a lightweight child who wants to plod around the lanes but not suitable for pony club etc as she doesnít enjoy that any more.

Please no under 18s or homes that want to hunt - NO NOVICES. She is not available to buy. Never been lame, fine in traffic. Will try it on with inexperienced people. 11 stone max please. Would happily do low level eventing. Excels at x-country. Needs a job.

Rosie (Solo Gold) has been on loan to a fabulous person for the last five months, but sadly due to unforseen circumstances she is not in a position to be able to keep her. She has been out doing x-country, pub rides, fun rides and will hack alone and in company. Rosie loves jumping and hasn't yet refused anything. She needs a kind and confident rider to bring out her best.

She is a kind and affectionate girl who loves being groomed and likes a routine. She can live in or out, but isn't a fan of extreme weather so would need a stable available for rough nights. She is a good doer but will get grumpy if hungry. She will need food adjusting for how much work she is doing. She has jumped a range of coloured poles/fillers/water trays and rarely spooks. She can have the odd spook out hacking but nothing nasty. She hacked all over the New Forest and isn't bothered by the ponies or cows. Like any horse she will need a little time to settle and readjust. She is pretty easy going, good to shoe etc. She has only ever needed fronts as she has excellent feet. She comes with full tack and rugs.
She is extremely well bred Sligo Candy boy (BALOU DU ROUET) x Crannagh Hero so has been bred to jump. She moves very nicely and was assessed by a dressage trainer last year for ability. She will turn her hoof to most things - although I doubt she would enjoy in hand showing! She has a full green passport.
She does not respond well to Regumate so needs a 6 monthly injection (not expensive £30) as she can get grumpy in season. She had the injection at the end of April this year. She is fully up to date on vaccinations. Good with dogs and all other creatures great and small. Turned out in a mixed herd currently with no problems.
Rosie enjoys her work. No nervous riders please. Looking for lightweight adult.
I am looking for a loan home for 6-8 months while I finish my studies- I simply don't have the time she needs with studying, kids and full time work.
Rosie needs to stay local to Dorset/Hampshire borders. I have more photos and a few videos from her current loan home that the lady is happy for me to share.

Description

15year old PRE mare available as field companion for long term loan.

Bella is sadly retired due to not being consistently sound enough to work, but is very happy and sound when living in the field!
She lives on fresh air, never sick, always pleased to see you, can live in group and left alone once settled, is incredibly tolerant of young stock and other horses. A calming influence on all around her!
Home is incredibly important and I would like to be able to visit on occasion.
Loan only- while I would not demand her back she would always come back to me if circumstances changed.
She is such a lovely girl and it was a very hard decision to retire her as I had poured my hopes and dreams into her! Hoping for a home where she can continue to be loved and useful as a calming influence.

Looking for a special full loan home for my black beauty Prince!.
Prince is a 9 year old 14.1/2 welsh cob.
I am trying again to find Prince a special home due to time wasters.
Prince is not a straight forward pony, he has the usual welsh cob quirks, but on top of that he is in recovery from a back problem.
This means that Prince now needs to return to work , gradually building up to full work over 2/3 weeks.
Apart from this ( and regular physio carried out by myself - Iím a qualified physio) he is no different to any other full loan pony, he certainly wonít cost you any more as I will continue to pay for any further treatment needed on his back.
You will end up with my stunning boy on full loan and I will just pop over occasionally to carry out his physio and check in that everything is ok.
To be kept in Hampshire only
Any more questions please feel free to call, no more time wasters please this is a very hard decision but I just donít have time to keep him in the full work he now needs and he is far too beautiful to be a field ornament

13hh 23yo New Forest Mare offered for full loan as a field companion or lead rein pony for small child/teenager.
Yoyo has been on loan with a family for the last 2 years but due to their own personal circumstances Yoyo sadly now needs to find a new home. Prior to being with this family she was at Amport riding school for a few years before it sadly closed. I'm not in the position to take her back myself unfortunately so hoping someone local to the Salisbury/Andover and surrounding area are in need of a lovely little pony. I have owned Yoyo for 18 years so know her inside out. She can come across grumpy at times but is absolutely harmless.
She is currently just being used as a field companion for other horses, she isn't phased at all when left in the field alone when horses are taken out to be ridden.
She could be used as a lead pony or something to hack around on but nothing to demanding as she's getting older.
Yoyo is an easy to look after little pony, she is a typical hardy New Forester. Good to box, clip, farrier etc.

For more information/pictures please feel free to call/email.

Description

George is a 16h tb gelding who we have owned for 2 years. He is my daughters horse who is now off to university. He started his life as a race horse but didnt excel in this!
During his time with my daughter he has been an allrounder, competing in dressage, showjumping, cross country, combined training and some low level eventing.
He has done lots of hacking both on his own and in company and beach and fun rides.
He is a friendly horse and will turn out with mares and geldings, he does like his stable and would need to be in at night in the winter and in the day in the summer.
He is 100% in traffic, to clip, load and shoe.

He is a tb and so needs a quiet, lightweight rider who is sensitive with their hands.
He can have his excitable moments but nothing ever nasty never bucks or rears.
We only want him to go within an hour of us and a contract will be drawn up.
Please get in contact for photos and videos.

Ripple walks trots and canters in the school just needs someone to do that bit more with him and bring out his full potential. Ripple hacks out nicely nothing fazes him at all good in traffic and used to all machinery.

Description

**STILL LOOKING FOR THE RIGHT PERSON**
Due to unforeseen circumstances and no fault of her own, I am having to advertise my beautiful 14.3hh 16 year old welsh d mare. She is looking for a mature and experienced home.
Please no time wasters - 5* home ONLY
Will consider loan with view to buy for the right home!
She cannot live out 24/7 so must have a stable!

I would ideally like her to go to a home with someone who mainly wants to hack and/or do flat work / light dressage. She is not much of a jumper, itís not really her thing, she will pop over a few small jumps but she does have mild†arthritis†in her back hocks and the vet is happy for her to carry on for quite a few more years without any concerns but due to this She wouldnít be suitable for someone who wants to do regular jumping or show jumping and she is looking for a quieter life style.

She is a real sweetheart to handle on the ground, she has excellent manners and will stand for hours to be grooming and bathed etc.

She can be a typical Welshie at times when being ridden and therefore not suitable for a complete beginner.

In the school she is as good as gold and will work in an outline, she can be slightly lazy at times so does need pushing on. When she is getting overexcited or worn out she can throw in the odd buck when asked to canter however it is nothing nasty and itís only very a very small buck.

Out hacking she is happy to go alone or in company, she is good on the roads however she is not keen on lorryís or tractors - she has never reared or bolted but does get fidgety whilst it passes ( she is not bombproof - but really what horse actually is ) She can get abit excited when cantering in company so she can become abit strong and again occasionally may throw in a few bucks if she is being left behind but In general out hacking she is usually a steady plod - she can spook at the odd thing so she is looking for a confident rider.

She has mild skin allergies which seem to only appear through the summer months, this is easily managed with fly rugs, fly repellents and cream. The allergies can cause her to itch her mane and tail (abit like sweet itch) and she can get a few scabs on her back legs and tummy and she is just generally abit itchy in the hotter months.

She is good to shoe, clip, catch etc and comes with a full wardrobe.
She is up to date with vacs, teeth etc.
Please contact me for any further details.
Will consider loaning her out as a companion if a suitable ridden home cannot be found.

Description

Tom is a 16.1hh 18 year old handsome spotted gelding. We are putting him up for loan, ideally to stay at our current yard in Hambledon, which is very friendly, has a floodlit school and excellent hacking. My daughter graduates university soon, and Tom still loves his work and lots of cuddles and attention, so he isnít at all ready to retire yet! We would consider moving him, but only to a home that would definitely suit him.

We have had him for nearly four years, and in that time he has taken my daughter from riding a prelim test to being competitive at affiliated elementary level and even doing a couple of mediums, as well as doing plenty of hacking, clinics and competitions with Meon RC and HHNPC. He is forward going, with three big correct paces and loves his work (although he doesnít need to be worked extremely regularly to stay sensible which is helpful).
Well behaved at competitions and in traffic, but can be spooky out hacking on his own, and so quiet, competent riders only please.

He had a tendon injury a year ago which he has been brought back from slowly and correctly. Vet and instructor can both testify that heís currently raring to go, just let us know if you would like to chat to either of them (or his previous owners), or if you have any questions.
Tom is a genuine, affectionate boy and he has given us so much, so any potential homes would be vetted.
