Description
7-year-old Irish Sport Horse mare, approx. 16hh. A quality project for an experienced, knowledgeable rider — not suitable for novices or inexperienced handlers.Fairly straightforward to ride and working nicely, though she requires further schooling and consistency. Shows genuine potential in the right hands and would benefit from regular, structured work both ridden and on the ground. On the ground she can be mareish, particularly around food and in the stable, and therefore requires confident, capable handling. Best suited to a calm, consistent home with clear routine and boundaries.Previously diagnosed with gastric ulcers, which have been fully treated. Would suit a competent rider looking to produce a horse. A kind, knowledgeable home is essential. Needs consistent turnout. 14.1hh 10yr Old Bay Welsh D Gelding 3 active paces and working nicely on the flat, with a bold genuine jump. Has been to numerous clinics and competitions with previous owner also XC schooling. Hacks alone and in company, great in traffic and open spaces. Good to shoe, clip, catch etc. Not a novice/nervous ride as he can buck. Unfortunately completely unsuitable for current owners. He does have character and thrives off work and routine tho he isn’t the type that needs riding daily as he doesn’t get fresh he’s a much more settled person from work. Home is of utmost importance for this chap. He will only be sold to a small adult or competent teenager. Please don’t be offended if I request videos of you riding. This is a cracking pony in the right hands and I want to ensure he will thrive in his next home.£5000 offershttps://youtu.be/d4OjXg-7ejU?si=wPGNLYhNFD4lwT2A
Much loved, fifteen year old, Welsh gelding available for loan as a companion pony only. We have made the devastating decision that Herbie can no longer be ridden due to health conditions (happy to discuss) but we believe he would make a wonderful companion pony. He can live out full time if there is good shelter or is equally happy to live in and out. Currently stabled overnight and out during the day. He can be left alone for short periods in a stable but doesn't like to be in the field on his own. He is unshod, on no medications and is a great field buddy. He has never had laminitis and whilst would get podgy seems to cope well on grass. We have muzzled him when he has had access to a lot of grass and he is happy to wear this. He is a good doer. LOAN HOME ONLY and we would like to be able to pop in and check on him from time to time.
I am looking for a part loaner / sharer for my boy. 14.1. 14 years old. Solid and strong. He is kept at home in Martin (15 minutes from Fordingbridge. ) This could also be just a rider agreement. Don’t let his size fool you. He is small but mighty. He needs a calm confident assured rider who will hold his hand if necessary. He will throw in the odd spook. And doesn’t like a rattling trailer going past him. Absolutely no children or novices. He is too strong and not suitable at all. He will throw shapes or the odd buck if he is excited. So a good seat will be necessary. It’s not malicious - he just needs the exercise. Once he is in a more regular routine, this will calm down. He is good on the ground. Very charming and loves a good fuss and a groom. He lives for food and will sneak a snack on a hack when he can. He has an active brain and is better in work and to be kept busy. So ideally he needs ridden work at least twice during the week. He is available on a Saturday also - obviously at the moment during daylight hours. We have miles of hacking next to us on Martin Down. He does have another rider on Sundays during winter - who will also ride more during summer - we can work out weekdays between you both when we have more daylight. He works a nice dressage test. We can lunge in the field here at home and long reins well, out locally. Opportunity for lessons close by with two excellent local instructors. A trial will be required to ensure you are a good fit. Financial contribution required. Poo picking to be done on your ridden days. Riders insurance required.
Honest add with her best interests at foot.Due to my circumstances, I’ve had to make this heartbreaking decision to let her go. Please only enquiry if you’re fully interested and will show up for a viewing. She is sold from the field you are welcome to come and sit on her in the school if required but I’m on a timeframe so I need a hassle free sale13’3/14hh mare, 4-5 year oldWelsh cross cobRumour is my lovely girl I brought as a 2 year, came to me with no passport or history, I have since had her passported vaccinations up-to-date recently had her wolf teeth removed. She was very lightly broken in before I found out her actually age since then I have let be a youngster turned out for grazing. Last summer I lightly brought her back into work, she has been hacking on her own and in company a handful of times. She’s well used to being lunged, popped over some jumps on the free rein. Has only been walked/trotted under saddle no canter Work I have not at all rushed her process. She has been wanted for nothing, absolutely adore her. The type of Home I am wanting for my gorgeous girl, is someone kind, happy to not rush her. Can offer her a home where she will be with other horses. I do not at all believe in single turn out, horses should be with company. She would need a lightweight/petite Rider as she is short in the back and young she takes a 16.5 saddle. She would make a lovely all rounder in the right hands.Rumour is happy to live in/out, she is barefoot with strong feet. Has never been sick or sorry. Gets on with Mares/geldings currently lives with both. She has never bucked/reared I have sat on her in the field without any tack she’s had a dog sit on her back she is very trusting, she has had my non-horsey partner sit on her. She’s had an eight-year-old ride her in the school. however she can be spooky out hacking and a little bit bargy at times but this can be fully worked on she’s just a typical youngster. She has had this winter off and needs slowly bringing back in with someone confident and understanding. Please only message me if you’re 100% interested, I am absolutely distraught making this decision and I don’t need to be bombarded with questions from people that are unsure. Please text instead of calling or email comes with all her rugs and tack. Forever homes is must! open to offers

She’s been confident in traffic and has shown a good little jump on the lunge. Very easy to have around the yard. Good to catch/ groom/ clip/ farrier. 13.1hh | Chestnut Roan | Mare | Professionally Rotund | Green Passport Enthusiast, 3k Meet Carla, the pony who never got the memo about being a fiery Welsh C mare. In fact, she is so un‑mareish that we’ve checked her passport more than once just to be sure. We’ve owned Carla for just under two years, and in that time she has proven herself to be the sort of pony you could put your granny on… if granny can hold on during a hunt, because that happens to be Carla’s absolute favourite thing. Hunting, one‑day events, and XC are her spiritual calling. Show jumping? Yes—up to 70cm, and happily. Dressage? She has indeed trotted politely through a PC70 test (and even listened). Mounted Games? Flags, equipment, chaos—Carla shrugged and said, “Is that all?”⭐ The Honest Bit (in a humorous way)Carla is currently… let’s say… aerodynamically challenged.Buoyant.A pony of substance.Yes—rotund.Since the beginning of last summer, she hasn’t done too much (teenager + second pony = one pony inevitably becomes a field decoration). To bring her back into work, she is currently being ridden in a Thornpad, trotting her way back to fitness with great enthusiasm and slightly less great stamina. She did once wear a saddle, but that has now been outgrown—by her, not the rider.⭐ Personality & AbilitiesNot spooky – the world could end behind her and she’d keep trotting. Not strong – your arms will remain their natural length. Not opinionated – shockingly un‑Welsh in this regard. Not mareish – also shockingly un‑Welsh.Very kind – she will, quite literally, try her heart out.Hacks alone or in company – and is impeccably behaved in open spaces.Loves XC, hunting, fun rides, pole clinics, general adventuring.⭐ Why We’re SellingMy daughter is now 13, has outgrown Carla, and we simply don’t have the time (or the number of bottoms) to keep two ponies ridden. Carla is far too good to be wasted in the field perfecting her current spherical silhouette.⭐ Ideal HomeSomeone who wants a safe, fun, loveable pony with a huge heart and even huger enthusiasm for adventures. A rider who will bring her back into full fitness and let her do what she loves.

Lucy is a 12-year-old mare with a beautiful blue eye. She is looking for her next best friend to teach and share lots of adventures, fun outings, and cuddles with 🐴. She is an absolute pleasure to have on the yard.💖 On the Ground• Comes when called, especially if there’s a biscuit 😄• Loves grooming and pampering• Bombproof – unfazed by sprays, water, bags, tarps• Very easy in all ways – moves shoulders, hindquarters, and backs up• Easy to tack up• Enjoys tricks, groundwork & clicker training• Good for farrier, vet & clipping🏇 Ridden & Work• Happy hacker who enjoys exploring new routes• Good in traffic, around dogs, bikes & walkers, and around all types of livestock• Leads beautifully• Goes nicely on the lunge• Enjoys pole work• Hasn’t done a great deal of flatwork• Great to do gates when out hacking• Fantastic to load and travel🌿 Turnout & Yard Life• Lives out 24/7 in a mixed herd• Gets on well with others & respects fencing• Previously diagnosed with EMS, not medicated, not had laminitis, incredibly easily managed. She is at a very healthy weight and fitness💫 Lucy’s one and only negative is that she can nap when leaving the yard. This is absolutely nothing nasty — she simply plants her feet and takes a firm but fair rider or handler to get her moving forward. Once out, she absolutely loves it and comes off the leg easily.💫 Lucy is a genuinely lovely pony who, once settled, is very rewarding. She is looking for a knowledgeable, kind, and consistent 5⭐️ home where she can enjoy adventures and develop a positive, long term partnership. ✅ Up to date with vaccines, teeth, and farrier📍 Based in Dorchester, Dorset🏡 5⭐️ home only💰 Price: £2000 (tack not included but can be negotiated)📞 📱 Contact Kate at 07557 309524

Tess - approx 16hh, rising 5 year old (August 2021) mare. Draft type mare no breeding recorded. Tess is a super type, proper ‘Irish hunter’ stamp with tons of bone and a solid stamp with good feet. Tess has been brought on slowly due to her size and not rushed or overproduced. She loves her hacking and hacks alone and in company. Schooling coming along well and she’s really starting to understand what’s being asked of her. She has lovely paces and a comfortable canter, she’d do a super dressage test with more producing. She has a superb natural talent over a fence and a lovely fluid jump, she is so genuine and honest and will pop away no questions asked. She hasn’t done lots of jumping just popped a few in the arena here and XC schooled over in Ireland but it’s something she seems to just have that natural ability for. Leg on ride in the school at the moment but this improves every time with more strength and understanding, you could make her what you wanted she’s a super blank canvas that’s been done properly and never overfaced or drilled in circles. Stands like a rock at the mounting block. Saying all of the above, Tess would just as happily plod around the block for the rest of her life, or there is plenty there to play with if you wanted too, the world really is your oyster with this one. Super cute ‘dopey’ temperament she is a complete pet on the ground, loves fuss and attention and is very kind with people/other horses/dogs. Very very easy to have around, doesn’t mind being in or out, good to catch/bath/shoe/load/clip (big tickly but nothing awful). Was left in the barn alone the other day while her mate went and worked and didn’t mind. No lumps/bumps or vices. She’d suit a variety of people for a variety of jobs. If she has hay and fuss she’s happy! Realistic enquires please she is still a young horse and not the finished article. £950007581238106 - please WhatsApp message for videos. Rupert - approx 15.1, 6 year old (April 2020) Connie x type gelding (no breeding recorded).Stunning little horse with a lot to offer the right person. He’s a real old fashioned, sturdy ‘small hunter type’ with plenty of bone but a quality little chap. Rupert has come over from Ireland having mainly hacked/hunted/fun rides/xc schooled.Since being with us we’ve been working on his schooling and he’s picking this up quickly and trying very hard, he’s a little green for his age but a game little horse that tries to please. He’s light off the leg with a soft mouth (not to be read as sharp as he isn’t, just wouldn’t suit someone that likes to kick kick kick). Been to arena hires and is popping a little course of fences with fillers and not looking at a single thing, he has a super jump and is really bold and brave. Xc schooled with us and is definitely one that puts a smile on your face, you feel like you could face him at anything and he’d give it a go! Hacks alone and in company and good in open spaces. Fun forward thinking type that wants an equally fun rider to go have a blast.Doesn’t need riding every day but I do think he’d be one that would prefer a varied lifestyle.Rupert’s only niggle is he can be a bit of a wimp on the ground (can just think humans are a bit scary!). He’s incredibly well mannered and easy to do, just a bit wary and wants a nice kind handler that isn’t going to be bullish with him or give him a hard time! More than happy to explain more about this to genuine enquiries, he really is not difficult for a competent handler. Absolutely not going to kick/bite/be nasty, quite the opposite. He’s a super kind little soul and I would love to see someone go and enjoy him as much as I have. If I didn’t have so many I would keep him for myself as he just gives such a fun feel but safe and sensible at the same time.Good to groom, bath, load, travel. Passed 5 stage vetting before import. £9500 Ono 07581238106 - please WhatsApp message for videos. If you call and I don’t answer please send a text - NOT voicemail (they don’t work on my phone!) and I’ll get back to you.Located Farnham Surrey.

Ride and drive cob x shetland pony 11.2. 14 years old.Excellent lead rein and will go out alone.Hacks out alone nicely but in company he doesnt like to be ridden away from the companions he is hacked out with. He will school and jump nicely with the right rider.. Excellent for farrier, vet, dentist and body worker. Bramble (Carey’s Wizard) sired from Lucky Lane Warrier is looking for his forever home. I bought bramble and his half brother as yearling's and had intended to sell them once backed but became attached to them! But it is now time for bramble to find a fun and loving home where he can continue his learning journey and be exercised regularly as he is getting bored. Bramble was backed professionally and has been hacked out in company and alone, has had lots of lessons in the school and is coming on very well. He would be great for a small adult or confident child as he can be strong. He is very kind and will stand being groomed all day. He is good with the farrier, has had his teeth done in December and fully vaccinated. He loads and travels well. His saddle has recently been fitted to him and is valued at £450. He has bridle and head collar. I’d love him to go to a home with other ponies and someone who will enjoy bringing him on to hi potential. Please message for school videos and only contact if you are genuinely looking - price with saddle £6000.
