Princes EMS is managed with a restricted diet and consistent exercise. He does not need any medication for this and it is reversible with enough exercise!

He has had lami once before, I believe it was because he went out when it was frosty as the sugar is very high in a frost so always cautious of him going on snowy/frosty grass but also on too much rich new grass. A restricted paddock is a must for him. I have the X-rays for this too.

He much prefers to live out, but he will stable if the weathers bad.

Prince unfortunately is not a novice ride as he likes to test his rider by napping this is something that can easily be improved with a confident rider ideally an adult or a confident teen, so please no novices, anyone fresh out of a riding school or anyone asking if he’s safe for little ones. He probably could be lead up the road with a novice on the lead rein but experienced home would be better for him.

Prince would suit a hacking, hunting, jumping or showing life.
He would excel in the show ring given his flashy looks or would make a lovely hunter jumper. He’s a pony that thrives off having a busy life, not being schooled all the time and this is unfortunately where he likes to nap doing schooling as he finds it boring! However he would definitely school if poles or fun activities in the school were involved to keep his brain entertained.

He’s a lovey little cob however can sometimes be bolshy on the ground so a 1-1 home is a must

These animals are my pets and i had wanted to start a therapy farm but sadly this has not gone to plan.

I would ideally like someone to take them all together but know this will probably be unrealistic, however I do request all animal groups stay together.

17” extra wide (possibly extra, extra wide) Havana brown VSD style quality English leather saddle. Handmade by Colt Saddlers, Walsall.

Ideal for low withered, broad shouldered, flat backed natives or cobs.
Measures 6 ½ inches between the panels at the front of the saddle with a low, open head pommel design to prevent pinching at the withers/shoulder. Also has a flat (hoop) native/cob tree.

Was custom made for New Forest and other native breeds for shows. VSD style to facilitate unrestricted shoulder movement. Soft pure wool flocking with a wide gullet makes it comfortable for the horse. This saddle also benefits from front gussets which allows for more tailored flocking around the shoulders especially if the horse later changes shape with work. A gel infused seat makes it comfortable for the rider along with soft padded knee and thigh rolls so secure to jump in.

Beautiful, top quality, comfortable saddle. Cost almost £1000. Brand new still, was tried on when purchased and then stored ready for shows. Unfortunately a visiting cat gained access to the understairs cupboard where it was stored and scratched the saddle through the cover. The scratches are all cosmetic surface scratches and do not compromise the saddle - most of the scratches can’t be seen once a rider is on board. NEVERTHELESS AS THE PHOTOS SHOW THIS SADDLE DOES HAVE SCRATCH MARKS.

Priced to sell as ponies now retired and it is simply gathering dust which is a waste for such a lovely saddle. Price more than reflects the cosmetic scratches. Would be a bargain saddle for someone on a budget or wanting to hack or for general riding/hunting/jumping or to back and bring on a young horse comfortably for both horse and rider. Looking for a sharer 2-3 times a week, times and days flexible for my fit 18 year old 15.3 ISH gelding based in the New Forest. Schooled to medium/ADV medium dressage and jumps up to 1 metre both SJ an Xcountry. Very easy going, hacks out in company or alone and good in traffic – excellent ground manners. Happy for him to do low level clinics and competitions. Financial contribution of £110 per month required but no yard work as he is on full livery. Heidi is a super sweet, kind mare who has been with us for the past three years. She previously competed successfully BS with her former owner, and with us has enjoyed a varied life of hacking, show jumping and pole work clinics.

She’s very versatile and simple – just as happy being ridden every day as she is being ridden once a month! Always ridden in a snaffle, a great school mistress who continues to enjoy her job.

Last year, Heidi had a beautiful foal (who can be seen). She was a wonderful mum, took first time, and was excellent with the vets. She would easily excel as a broodmare again if desired. She has brilliant breeding which has produced us a gorgeous youngster.

We are looking for a home where she will continue to be loved. She would make a great happy hack or a low level allrounder.

May be looking for the impossible, but looking for a safe and sane first pony for riding 1-2 days per week for my daughters. They are just coming off the lead rein, just mastered rising trot. Ideally 12/13hh but happy to go bigger if they are sensible.
I have ridden most of my life and will always be with them. Keen they get the whole experience of mucking out / poo picking etc so no problem to do yard duties as well.
