Lovely mare available to loan 2-3 days per week. Retired poly pony with plenty of life left who enjoys lots of hacking and very much still up for the odd canter! Good hacking from the yard with various routes available and different people to ride with although she is just as happy to go out alone. 100% in all kinds of traffic although she can spook at the odd stick but these are never very big- more of a look and side step. Her only fault is that she occasionally decides standing still is too boring and will fidget so does need someone who can cope with this.

We are looking for someone sensible and reliable to give her some attention and riding- preferably weekdays but happy to discuss a weekend day too. Please note a weight limit of around 11 stone due to size and age. Field kept with a nice shelter and store room so minimal duties, with small financial contribution.

Dixie is a very well schooled all rounder looking to further in her dressage. She has competed up to Novice and has the potential to go further with the right rider. She is very good natured and well mannered, but can be excitable and strong so therefore needs an experienced rider. She loves her work and that is shown bey her eagerness to perform.

I’m looking preferably for an over 18 rider who can take a couple of my ponies out a few times a week, riding out together with me to start with.
I don’t have the time to keep them all in consistent work☹️
14,1 chunky cob, driven for three years, now ridden but young, green, immature & playful! So you need experience for quick correcting & forward riding!
14,1 NFP older, he is an excellent forward easy pony with the right rider but he knows every trick in the book so you need to be on the ball and know what you are doing on the ground as well as in the saddle and he has to like you!😳
Also another due to come back into work this spring after having 2 years off due to lack of rider and then a ligament & tendon injury.

Looking for a confident adult rider that wishes to part share a fun, eye-catching, 9 year old, 15.1hh Welsh D gelding. You will need to have owned or loaned your own horse in the past and be a kind rider with some spare time each week.

He is based on a small private yard near Emsworth with excellent facilities where he is to stay. He is a very loving and cheeky chap, has been trained in natural horsemanship and is accomplished in his groundwork, liberty training and free jumping. He is great in traffic and enjoys going out in the trailer to take part in local events and shows.

I’m looking for someone who’s familiar with or wants to learn natural horsemanship to come to our yard to initially do groundwork and ridden sessions on a one-to-one basis with his horsemanship trainer with a view to forming a long-term relationship with him. The right person will then have the opportunity to venture into other disciplines and can be taken to local shows, riding club events, clinics, fun events etc. should they wish.

He is available any day during the week Monday to Friday and occasional Sundays. There would be no stable duties involved but a small financial contribution and your own rider insurance will be required.

Part Loan – 16.1hh Irish Sport Horse Mare (Glo)

I’m looking for a kind, reliable part loaner for my lovely mare Glo, 2–3 days a week including one weekend day.

Glo is a 20-year-old Irish Sport Horse who I’ve owned for nearly 10 years. We’ve spent many happy years eventing together, but she is now semi-retired (her big eventing days are behind her 🥲). That said, she still absolutely loves getting out, having fun and being busy!

Please don’t be put off by her age — you honestly wouldn’t know she’s an older girl. She’s full of character and still enjoys hacking, fun rides and the odd adventure. She’s happy to pop a small fence now and then, but I’d prefer jumping to be kept to a minimum.

Glo needs a confident, level-headed rider as she can be strong at times and may throw in a excitable rear (They are never big and never dangerous) She’s not for someone wanting to charge around or jump 24/7 — I’m looking for someone sensible who will enjoy her for what she is now and treat her with love and respect.

She has mainly been lightly hacking over the last year, so her fitness will need to be built up gradually. For the right person, I’d be very happy to take you out to fun rides, beach rides ect.

Available for part loan, 15hh Welsh and 12.3 mini cob. Based in Ringwood at a private yard (just us here) and only a 10 min walk down a quiet road until you are straight onto the open new forest national park, stunning hacking in all directions with the wild ponies around you.

Can be loaned individually or as a parent and child share.

The mini cob is a lead rein pony for a novice or off lead rein for someone who knows how to ride. He is pretty unflappable but definitely not a kick along and responds well to voice commands. Max rider weight 55kg

The Welsh is a stunner once he looses his winter coat and doesn’t buck, rear or bolt, he rarely spooks and has very comfortable paces. He turns off the leg nicely and is at at the beginnings of learning an outline. He is only 6 and he is quick off the leg so you don’t need to be a pro but he does need someone who is competent and used to forward going horses, rides and balances with their seat and doesn’t grip with their legs or haul with their hands. Max rider weight 70kg.

£50 a week per pony to help towards their costs (£80 if you’re loaning both). Available for a set 3 days a week. The ponies are your own these days so yard duties to be covered on these days including poo picking for that day. (No stable mucking out as we try not to stable them), there are often more days available in the school holidays as we like to go away. You must have your own riders insurance.

I am looking for a part loaner / sharer for my boy. 14.1. 14 years old. Solid and strong. He is kept at home in Martin (15 minutes from Fordingbridge. ) This could also be just a rider agreement.

Don’t let his size fool you. He is small but mighty. He needs a calm confident assured rider who will hold his hand if necessary. He will throw in the odd spook. And doesn’t like a rattling trailer going past him.

Absolutely no children or novices. He is too strong and not suitable at all. He will throw shapes or the odd buck if he is excited. So a good seat will be necessary. It’s not malicious - he just needs the exercise. Once he is in a more regular routine, this will calm down. He is good on the ground. Very charming and loves a good fuss and a groom. He lives for food and will sneak a snack on a hack when he can.

He has an active brain and is better in work and to be kept busy. So ideally he needs ridden work at least twice during the week. He is available on a Saturday also - obviously at the moment during daylight hours. We have miles of hacking next to us on Martin Down.

He does have another rider on Sundays during winter - who will also ride more during summer - we can work out weekdays between you both when we have more daylight.

He works a nice dressage test. We can lunge in the field here at home and long reins well, out locally. Opportunity for lessons close by with two excellent local instructors.

A trial will be required to ensure you are a good fit.

Sox is a 14.2hh, 7 year old Registered New Forest Pony, kept near Beaulieu. He is a forward ride out hacking, progressing well in the school and a real cuddly character. I have owned Sox since he was foal and know him inside out.

I am looking for someone to give him some extra fuss, as well as exercise, 2/3 times per week due to my shift work. You will need to be reliable, trustworthy and kind. Whilst he is a chunky build. I am looking for someone no heavier than 11 stone. Sox is not a novice ride as he can throw a cheeky buck, though he is not dangerous. There are other liveries hack out, Sox prefers company. Happy for you to hack out alone but you must be a confident rider as he takes confidence from you. He is known to nap, and chuck in a buck and spin. He loves to jump but is green.

You would be welcome to take him hacking, schooling and possibly compete.

You would have to help with his care on their share days. Winter he is in over night so ideally a bring in or turn out and muck out.

Due to my shift pattern you’d have to be flexible on days.

References are required, as well as riding insurance and a BHS contract would be in place.

The lovely Billybob is looking for a new sharer. Looking for 2 days a week. 1 being a weekend. Hes a very good boy but does need a confident rider. Over 18s only. Hes 20 years old and 14.3/15hh. I am looking for a kind and confident sharer for my 13.2hh,16year old New Forest pony.
Ideally for 2/3 days a week but very flexible.
She is to stay at her current yard in Lymington which has a floodlit menage and is only a 5 minute lane hack to the forest. The yard is very friendly and there are people to ride out with.

Mya is a cheeky but loving typical New Forest pony who loves to please her rider.
Mya does need a capable rider, as in less experienced hands she could take advantage.
Rider must be confident with handling horses on the ground and know basic horse care etc! Also be able to confidently Walk,trot and canter possibly pop some jumps! Happy for someone who is willing to learn Myas ways but must have basic knowledge as I won’t be there to help each time you ride!
I have owned Mya for nearly 8 years and in this time she has turned her hoof to anything and everything from Hedge hopping,hunting, xcountry, beach rides, swimming, in-hand work and dressage.

Mya loves her hacking always happy to be out whether that is a chilled plod around the lanes or a slightly faster ride down the canter tracks. Eagerly pops over logs,bushes etc on the forest.

On the flat Mya has lovely paces with an uphill canter and flashy trot,she goes nicely into a contact when ridden correctly. Mya really enjoys gridwork or any sort of pole exercises that get her to think(ridden or in-hand) -she’s very clever with her feet.

I am ideally looking for a lightweight (Max 10stone ) adult or confident teenager who would like to enjoy her too.

Looking for an experienced person to spend some time helping out with our 4 year old TB.He has not done much yet, so looking for someone that would like to get to know him and spend some quality time with him.Grooming and doing some basic ground work as i do not have much time on my hands at the moment.

He came to us unexpectedly and in a poor condition so we have become very fond of him and do not want to part with him. We would love to find someone who has a lot of experience with youngsters and that would be interested to continue with him once he has been sent away to be broken. I’m looking for a part loaner for my pony. He’s kept at a livery yard in Bramshaw and is to remain there. Financial contribution of £120pm for a minimum of 3 days a week. The cost will be going towards his livery, shoes and feed.

Rusty is a 10 year old 13.1 chestnut gelding. I’m looking for someone who is a competent rider, either a teenager or a small adult. He has done fun rides, hacks well alone and in company, has been hunting the last 2 seasons with new forest hounds and schools. The yard we are based at has a large school with lights and is a 3 minute hack to the open forest. A lot of hunt meets are within hacking distance aswell.

Rusty has been off work over the summer as I’ve been pregnant and now that I have had my baby I don’t have as much time to ride as before and feel like someone could benefit from him. He’s easy to do in all ways, just can be cheeky. He does throw the occasional excited buck but nothing nasty. He’s not fast by any means either! Whilst he is generally good, he’s not a kids pony. There are plenty of people to ride out with/go hunting or competing with on the yard also.

I’m not fussy on which days a week you want to do and if you want to take him out, you are more than welcome. He has his own turnout so you don’t need to worry about a field share and he’s deep littered on aubiose so mucking out is minimal.

He’s a kind boy who loves to work and always gives his all. He has excellent ground manners!

He has mainly done some hacking, schooling but is quite green due to being unfit, is never nasty, he’s show recently with my 3 year daughter on the lead rein and he won his classes. We have taken him to school hires and he’s been a super star.
He really thrives off the confidence of his rider, my 3 year old rides him on the lead and off the lead, he stands for my young daughters brushing him and giving him love.

Looking for someone reliable and knowledgeable who will enjoy him and treat him as their own on their days.
Would suit a light weight adult or a small teenager or a young rider on the lead, if under the age of 18 needs to be with a parent at all times.
