Due to my 10 year old daughter outgrowing the pony she currently rides we are looking for a new best friend for her. We are looking for a full loan to move to our current yard on full grass livery (so must be able to live out). My daughter is tall for her age (5ft) so around 14/14.2hh would be great. Will consider a little smaller if pony takes up the leg well. MUST be a confidence giver as Elsie is an anxious (but determined) rider. All rounder required as it would be nice to get out and do a little low level dressage/jumping. Elsie takes weekly lessons at our gorgeous yard where I keep my own horse. All hacking is on site, great facilities and knowledgeable staff .... pony would literally want for nothing and be loved as our own.

I'm looking for a shetland or small pony that my 5 year old son can share once or twice a week, near Selborne, Alton.

He's confident and can trot and pop over small jumps off the lead (on the right pony!). He would suit something forward going and on a yard with a school on site.

We shared a Shetland before we moved to Selborne at the end of last year and his riding came on really quickly. I'm a horsey mum who has owned and evented horses.

I am 14 years old and have experience riding lots of different horses, I am small for my age so in theory could go a bit smaller than 13.2 but I am looking for something long term which I’m not going to outgrow anytime soon. Looking for the impossible! My daughter is 13 and in riding lessons! Looking for something to ride in addition to lessons either 1 or 2 days a week (would need to be thurs and a weekend day) must have a school. Need a confidence giving safe horse! Has done riding in school and out on hacks. Has done lots of stable management/pony care days at riding school etc and has ridden friends private horses.

Very mature & reliable. Both myself (mother) and grandmother, have had horses in the past.

Willing to give some financial contribution and will also continue with occasional riding lessons at current riding school.

My 16-year-old daughter Olivia is looking for a 15hh+ horse to take with her to Hartpury College in September. She currently owns a 14.2hh Connemara mare who, sadly, injured a ligament last autumn, so it wouldn’t be fair to take her.

Olivia is a capable and caring rider. She is 5’ 2” and weighs under 8 stone. She previously shared a Welsh mare, took her to shows, had plenty of lessons, rode solo on hacks, and did lots of flatwork schooling. While her main passion is show jumping, she also enjoys flatwork, hacking, and spoiling her horses with plenty of love and attention. At Hartpury, she’ll be studying equine management, working with horses on site, and making the most of the amazing facilities and guidance from top instructors.

We’re hoping to find a horse to bring into the family and treat as our own—ideally for the next couple of years or longer. We’re after something 15hh or bigger, reasonably sensible, though a bit of character is no problem. It’ll need to be happy in a busy yard and capable of travelling, as we’re based in the New Forest (Christchurch) and Hartpury is a few hours away. Olivia would also love to go on fun rides and XC hires with friends now and then.

If close by, Olivia could care for the horse at its current yard for the summer, or we can move it close to us in the New Forest.

I’m wondering if anyone has the impossible. I’m 16, and I’d love a loan horse to move yards to a private yard in Bashley which I can love and adore like my own. All I ask is:

🐴 Safe and sensible, I'm a nervous but experienced rider so preferably a confidence giver if that exists out there.
🐴 Bombproof to hack would be a massive bonus, not necessary!
🐴 Ability to take to small dressage competitions
🐴 Doesn’t need to be ridden everyday, but safe to get on after a few days off of work
🐴 Would stay with a cob mare, so mustn’t have any kind of attachment issues.

Looking for a pony to share for 2 or 3 days a week within the Alderholt/Fordingbridge/Verwood area. We are ideally looking for a pony around 14.2hh but could be slightly smaller/bigger. My daughter is a good rider but lacks confidence so the pony would need to be quite a safe ride. She has had horses before and we have horses however they are all too big for her to ride regularly. Seeking a long term loan for an extremely competent rider in a knowledgeable loving home. Ideally seeking something that will do low level competing/ riding club activities and hack out alone/ in company and go on beach rides. Must be able to cope with living out all year as have lots of ground available and prefer keeping mine this way, with the option of coming in to loose boxes during very harsh weather. This is on a farm so something sane/ unbothered by machinery and livestock preferable. Would be kept company by my retired ex dressage/ eventing WB gelding and his buddy a Fells pony mare. Tall slim lady so requiring something 16hh to 17hh, age no concern providing the horse is sound. Quirks also no concern as long as there is no nastiness about it. No breed preference but prefer decent amount of bone, with a decent neck and shoulder to sit behind.

Adult rider looking for horse to hack and school 2-3 days a week.

I am seeking a new equine friend after the lose last year of my 31 one year old boy, looking for something over 13hh not fused in age breed or gender just something that would enjoy going on a nice hack couple time a week and being a companion to my current cob mare. Must be, good in traffic doesn’t need to 100% bombproof and it will not be ridden by any novices only myself. Lots of love and time to give. I have 6 acres of land with all natural shelter plus a field shelter. So they must be okay living out 24/7. I don’t mind them having a Fun and silly personality and any vices or quirks I won’t mind. Hello!

Two best friends looking for two happy hackers to ride once or twice a week long term. Both have years of ridden experience and looking for something to enjoy together due to my friends last share sadly being put down.

We’re 31 and 36 years old and have BHS insurance. We’re 5’4 and 5’7 and have ridden anything from new forest ponies to warmbloods, however I definitely prefer a pony in the slower lane but happy to pick up the pace, whereas my friend will ride anything. She definitely prefers something more forward as her last horse was a thoroughbred so she really gets on with something more challenging. Just looking for something to bond with that we can love and care for, and if they like doing a little bit of low level jumping too then that’s a bonus.
