Description
Looking for DIY livery or stable and grazing. Within Hordle/Sway/Bashley or surrounding area for a retired lovely gelding. Tidy and responsible owner that visits twice a day or more. Must have running water. Many thanks.
I am looking for additional grazing for my two lovely horses. I have a field which I actively rotate and manage well, and am looking for another field to enable me to rest my field for longer (especially after this wet winter). I am a kind, experienced and knowledgeable owner. My horses are my happy place. They are both well behaved and respect fencing as well as get on with other horses. I am ideally looking for sole use however I am also happy to share with someone and work as a team. Areas considered - 10mile radius of Beaulieu. References available of course. Many thanks for reading, Anna

A friend and I are looking to rent out a sole-use yard or field for 2/3 horses. Would prefer to stay local to North Winchester (South Wonston, Sutton Scotney, Micheldever), but would also consider going further afield (Stockbridge, Alresford, Whitchurch, etc.) Land will be kept tidy and up to standard.References available. Thank you
I’m looking for one like-minded horse owner who would like to share a field or small yard on a genuinely equal basis. This isn’t a livery arrangement and I’m not looking for services. What I’d really like is a calm, practical partnership where:We take turns with poo picking and daily checks (ideally every other day).We make decisions together about hay, field management, worming, etc.Costs are shared fairly. Both horses have companionship and consistency.I’ve learned over time what works and what makes life harder. The aim is an easier, balanced setup that benefits both horses and both owners — not one person carrying the load.Ideally you’ll be:Reliable and straightforward.Sensible and logical about horse care.Happy to communicate and share responsibility properly.Looking for a simple, drama-free arrangement. If you’re hoping for help running your yard or offering livery services, this probably isn’t the right fit.But if you’re in a similar position and just want a fair, shared setup that makes life easier for everyone — I’d love to hear from you.Easy journey area from Wimborne - Corfe Mullen, Colehill, Holt, Horton

Livery wanted for our lovely almost retired gelding (15h)& mare (14h). Ideally we are looking for DIY but could consider part/assisted if this was cost effective. We’d like a paddock they could share together or next to each other so I can manage their different grazing requirements, with water & electric fencing. Field shelters and/or stables and storage for feed/hay/equipment. All year turnout is ideal as we can manage land well, but are open to suggestions. Currently we have a school and direct hacking so something similar would be perfect for the occasional ride (we all work full time and my daughter travels a lot so we have very limited time for riding). Must be a kind, quiet, safe & secure yard with other horses on site. We are looking for long term livery as this would potentially be the final homes for them both. As owners, we are friendly, quiet, tidy and committed, sane & sensible (yard politics are not for us). We live in Corfe Mullen so are looking for livery in the surrounding areas. We are very happy at our current yard but with our daughter travelling away, our busy jobs and getting older, moving closer to home is a sensible move, equally we are not in a rush so can wait if availability comes up in the near future. Please do get in touch with options. Many thanks
Looking for livery for 14hh mare, who is good natured and with an experienced friendly owner who visits twice a day and is happy to muck in with jobs and help others. Would love to get out and about more, so maybe someone who enjoys getting out hacking and to different activities! Looking Ringwood, Christchurch, Lymington areas but will consider others so let me know if you think you might have something! Would like individual grazing though and a place with nice hacking and/ or an arena but flexible with what may be available.
Wanted: Grazing / Stables with New Forest Hacking AccessWe are looking for a new location to base ourselves and our horses in or around the New Forest.Ideally we are seeking either:•A field with field shelters or good natural shelter, or•Self-contained stables with grazingRequirements:•Running water on site•On-site storage (hay, feed, tack, etc.)•Access to off-road hacking in the New Forest (direct access preferred, but a short ride on quiet roads is absolutely fine)We would consider somewhere with more ground if it was an option which could be discussed. We are experienced, tidy, and respectful horse owners, looking for a long-term arrangement. If you have land, stables, or know of anything suitable coming available, we would love to hear from you.📩 Please message with details, location, and any photos if available.
Hampshire Spirit Horse Rescue are losing their current grazing in Hedge End due to it being sold for development. We are now looking for new grazing land to run the rescue. We are looking for a minimum of around 5/6 + acres of grazing. Water, electric, stables a plus but not necessarily. We have field shelters we can bring on removable skids. We would be open to options in the 10 mile radius of Hedge End. If you have anything suitable, please give us a call.
I am looking for temporary accommodation over the winter for myself & my 7yr old daughter (and small dog) while I relocate back to The New Forest.I can't pay rent but am happy to to work as payment.I have 35 years experience of working in the equine industry; I produce horses to high standards and have competed nationally in County Level Showing and at Riding Club level dressage to elementary standard. We are clean, tidy & respectful and can provide excellent references. Any type of accommodation considered as we are currently living in a tiny touring caravan which is becoming increasingly difficult now that the dark evenings and bad weather are starting to set in.If you have anything available please contact me via phone or email. Thanks for reading and I will stay hopeful that I can find a solution to get us through the next few months 😊
Looking for grazing with stables (or shelter) for New Forest Mares. Ideally sole use or a small livery yard with flexibility with turn out all year for one. Stabling is required when they need to restrict their grass intake or to stop fields being poached. Ideally, good access (quiet traffic) or direct access to the New Forest as they are mostly hacked out.Any area in Forest considered but Emery Down, Lyndhurst, Minstead, Beaulieu, East Boldre, etc.Happy to do fencing, harrowing and rolling. Storage for hay/beddingWaterCurrently in lovely, privately owned property for the last seven years (property is for sale). References are availablePlease email replies
