We are looking for that one in a million horse who will be loved, cherished and thoroughly pampered by an owner who is ready to have a horse of their own again.
Before a life changing accident, the owner had their own horse. Following a brain injury resulting in physical disabilities, they have spent over two years attending equine therapy and have now reached a point where they are ready to take the next step towards owning a horse again, with the support of their wonderful family and carers.
A genuine, kind hearted horse who will become a much loved companion (with potential for more) and an important part of their life. Calmness, predictability and tolerance of close human contact non-negotiable. The right horse doesn't necessarily need to be a schoolmaster or have an impressive competition record; it needs to be one that genuinely enjoys people and can cope calmly with the owner's needs.

-Temperament is everything! We need a genuinely safe, kind and sensible horse on the ground who is happy to stand patiently and enjoy lots of attention.
-Happy to be pampered! Must be content to stand for grooming, brushing, bathing, clipping and all the fuss and attention that comes with being thoroughly spoilt.
-Patient and easy to handle. The horse must be comfortable being handled and led by an owner with some limited movement on one side of their body who occasionally uses a wheelchair.
-Unfazed by extra hands! They need to be relaxed and happy having more than one person around them, including several people grooming and fussing over them at once.
-Size, breed and age are flexible. We are far more interested in temperament, trust and suitability than a particular type or age.
-Good with other horses. They would be kept on a livery yard, so they must be happy in a shared equestrian environment.
-Health. Ideally, we are looking for a horse without any significant ongoing health issues at the time of purchase.
What about riding? The owner isn't currently looking to ride, but if our perfect unicorn needs a job to keep them fit and happy, we have a suitable rider available to help keep them in work. (14.2hh and above if ridden work is needed.)

An absolute bonus would be a horse who is already experienced in driving, or one with the right temperament and potential to learn. Driving is something the owner would love to work towards in the future, and finding a horse who could help make that dream a reality would be truly special.

This horse would be joining a supportive team of family, carers and with extra equine professionals on hand, all committed to making sure they are safe, happy and exceptionally well cared for.
They would have a home where they are valued for who they are, not what they can do, and where there will be plenty of love, attention and opportunities to enjoy life.
🤝 A trial period is important to us.
Because of the owner's disabilities and individual needs, we would need to discuss a trial period to ensure the horse and owner are the right fit for one another or a LWVTB.
We appreciate that this needs to work for the horse as much as the owner, and we are very happy to discuss arrangements with the right seller.
💷 Budget available for the right horse.
We have a good budget for the right match. Finding the right temperament and a suitable partnership is far more important than finding a bargain.

Wanted by 5'3 65 kg lady who unexpectedly has time to go hunting this season.

Probably around 15.2hh but will consider anything from 14.2hh cob/native type to 16.2hh. Most important is I can take them out safely on my own, they stand quietly at the meet so I can enjoy my drink and they pop hunt fences politely.

I have other horses but they are not suitable for hunting hence looking. I have a limited budget because of this but if someone was interested I have welsh B ponies I could part ex. Wanted super safe well mannered horse 15'2-16hh (8-12yrs approx) for a novice lady rider to mainly hack around the countryside. Must stand to be mounted and respond to aids calmly. Needs to be easy to do in all ways, no vices, lumps, bumps ect. 10* family home for life offered to the right horse.

We are looking for a 2nd type pony between 13.2hh and 14.2hh to take part in all pony club activities, especially showing, showjumping, xc and mostly working hunter type classes.
My daughter is 11 and has had the best 3 years on her gold dust first pony who has done his job and given her all the confidence she needs for the next step up.
We are located on a small private yard in Arundel West Sussex and would live with 3 other lovely geldings as a small herd.
My 8 year old daughter has a standard Shetland so they would be off out riding together having lots of pony adventures! Our next pony will live a really varied lifestyle and would want for nothing!
Having our own transport means we love to get out to local shows, arena hires, we are also really lucky living right next to the South Downs with miles of hacking and the beach on our doorstep.

We are a little riding school called “Pony Magic” but I am looking for a “Horse” to join the team! Some children have ridden with us for many years and wish to continue but have outgrown our biggest pony. We also know a few mums keen to get back riding!
I am looking to buy, loan, lwvtb or will consider a working livery arrangement, a cob/chunky type gelding 15-15.2hh that would enjoy plenty of turnout, low intensity work in the arena to include a little jumping and fun stuff (always under my teaching) and hacking out in the countryside for variety!

We are a very genuine family looking for a nice cob,or something chunky around 14.3/15h.
I have owned my horse since the age of 14 and i am now 23 years old and my wonderful cob is going to be 23 this year. It has come to the time for him to slow down after many wonderful years together and such wonderful memories. He is one in a million and he would never go anywhere he is staying with me till the end. I am now looking for another horse to join our family while my boy goes into semi retirement. I am looking for a horse to love and have fun with and to enjoy, go on nice hacks,fun rides, beach ride, fun cross country etc.

I would not like a horse that bucks or rears but i do not mind strong, grumpy, a bit spooky as long as the horse is safe. Maybe a horse that has been part of someones family for a while and they are sceptical about selling as they do not want him/her to end up in the wrong hands.

I am happy to do a short loan with view to buy, to be sure the owners are happy with us or I am happy to come and trial a horse to see if we like each other, the Cash is waiting for the right horse to come along.

I keep my fingers crossed there is a nice cob out there somewhere and i believe in fate! I am fed up with contacting sellers and viewing horses that turn out to be nothing like what is on the advert.

Searching for my teenage daughters next horse. Competent 15 year old looking for a horse to call her own after sharing a horse with her sister! Must be over 15/15.2hh as she is tall. Mare or gelding, age would probably prefer age 9 - 13 years old. Must be happy to live out 24/7. Mainly wanted for daily hacks from our current livery yard, straight out into the forest, occasional fun rides, XC and jumping. She really wants to do more jumping. Happy hacker wanted, older horse fine. Must be solid to hack alone and great to handle. Up to 16hh mare or gelding. We have our own land in Dorset with stables etc. We make our own hay and the horse would want for nothing. Will only be lightly hacked and only a couple of times a week. I am very experienced but as I get older all I want is to be safe! Loan or reasonable price please. We have a mini as a companion.

They will have a fairly varied life, lots of hacking (mostly alone), flatwork lessons, local dressage, maybe some showing, beach rides, pole clinics, pub rides, possibly a bit of autumn hunt rides with the right one (cantering at the back having a gossip, we don't have hounds here so it's more like a fun ride!) just some relaxed fun, they don't need to be world beaters and we won't be taking ourselves too seriously 😅

Tentatively searching for my daughters very first owned horse. Competent 13 year old looking for a horse to call her own after years of sharing mum's horses! Must be over 15/15.2hh as she is tall. Mare or gelding, age not important. Mainly wanted for daily hacks from our current livery yard, straight out into the forest, occasional fun rides and regular sunny weekend days exploring the new forest! But what she really wants to do is start learning to jump. Not showjumping or cross country, just the occasional log in the forest or cross pole in the school. So any horse thats 'been there, done that' would be ideal. Not looking for a world beater, purely looking for a kind genuine horse that would enjoy being one of the most pampered and loved horses around!

Doesn’t need to enjoy schooling as neither do I. Can be spirited out hacking but must be reliable on the ground, not looking for nervy temperaments as I have a youngster that feeds off this.
