Bunny is a truly special little pony with the sweetest temperament. She is kind, honest, patient, and an absolute pleasure to have around, making her a firm favourite wherever she goes.

She has naturally beautiful flatwork and works happily in a lovely outline when asked. Jumping is where Bunny really shines—she absolutely loves it! She’s brave, genuine, and unfazed by fillers, coloured poles, or new surroundings, always giving her rider confidence.

Bunny has enjoyed Pony Club activities, camps, local shows, and fun rides, taking everything in her stride. She behaves impeccably away from home and is just as easy and relaxed out and about as she is in her stable.

She has proven herself to be a fantastic all-rounder, happily turning her hoof to anything asked of her. She would continue to excel as a Pony Club pony but also has the quality and movement to do very well in the show ring or dressage with the right rider.

Lead rein isn’t her favourite job, but she will happily do it. She has a lovely forward walk, trot and canter, while still having excellent brakes and steering.

Bunny is easy in every way—she is good to catch, groom, tack up, load, travel, shoe, clip, and handle. She has never been sick or sorry and has been a straightforward, reliable pony throughout her time with us.

She absolutely adores attention and will happily stand for hours being brushed, fussed over, and cuddled. She is gentle enough for children to handle and has a loving nature that makes her a joy to own.

Sadly, Bunny is only looking for a new home because the children have not inherited the family’s love of ponies, so this is a genuinely heartbreaking decision.

Dexter, approx 14.1 black cob gelding. 16yrs. Super happy hacker. 100% in every way, clips, loads, bathes, always barefoot. Dexter has been on loan to the same family for almost 5 years where they have mainly hacked/fun rides. He’s the first to greet you, lovely personality - he loves to be spoiled and will stand forever to be pampered. Occasionally needs to be reminded of his manners on the ground, as can be determined when he sees grass! He comes with all his tack and rugs.
On Wednesday he passed a stage 2 vetting, but the vet did notice some mild Cpl, which unfortunately put the prospective buyer off. With the right care - lots of turnout/excercise, keeping weight down and a low sugar diet, this is very manageable.
Dexter would suit anybody! He doesn’t live life in the fast lane, but he is super safe, you don’t have to consistently nag him, he’s just a little more ‘steady’ than some. What a great thing to be! He goes first/last/somewhere in the middle. Can be a little more enthusiastic in company but never in danger of not stopping. Every loves Dexter.

I bought Acorn (Fleethouse Anastasia) from a local breeder at 6 months old and have owned her since.

She was started slowly as a 3 ½ /4 year old after lots of time out in a herd as a youngster to mature. She’s now a well formed, straight forward, keen ride and absolutely loves her job.
Hacks happily alone and in company, she’s off the leg and forward but sensible and polite.

Schools nicely and has it all there just needs tuning with more consistent schooling as have kept things very basic and we only have a grass school.
Brave and responsive to jump. Loves poles and has jumped everything I’ve put in front of her so far.

She has so much scope and would make a fab little partner to event or show jump for a confident child, teen or small adult. Been to local and county shows, loads and travels well and happily stands at the box.
Such a great little character that really isn’t fazed by much. Happily had kids and beginners on the lead rein and with more miles on the clock and exposure, would be a perfect 1st/2nd pony. Not currently suitable for a complete novice as she does have the odd justified spook and still appreciates clear aids and confidence from the rider.

She is super easy to keep. Lives out 24/7 but also happy in a stable. Good for the farrier (currently barefoot), vet etc.

Evie is a grey Highland pony mare, she's a big girl at approx 14.2 hh although never been officially measured, 14 yrs old. She's a quiet lovely pony to ride, alone or with others. In 2022 I rode her alone along part of the Southdowns Way, she took it all in her stride & was brilliant riding through the sheep, past cattle and staying over in strange paddocks.
Evie has been great being turned out with other ponies and also with just one other, she is sweet with other ponies and would be a good mother.
She's enjoyed doing polework clinics and will pop a little log out in the woods and easily goes into the river.
A few years back i did inhand showing and she was always in the ribbons & in her youth inhand Reserve Champion at Pembrokeshire County show. She's not been shown recently, as she's been out on loan.

Oakley has been a fantastic confidence-giver for both myself and my children. He is a genuine, kind pony who has given us so many wonderful memories and is now looking for his next family to enjoy him.

Chaos is a 4 year old gelding, approximately 13.1hh (will be measured to confirm)
As you can see he has led a life of luxury being turned away to mature and enjoy life. He is now ready to turn his hoof to being a lovely pony.

Chaos is easy to handle, have his feet trimmed, to be groomed, tie up, load (cattle box), and catch.
Chaos has been turned out with a herd most of his life, however he has spent time as a companion where he was handled daily and saw traffic, he is used to coming home to farm life and wild children.

The cuddliest, sanest, easiest pony I've had for years.

Started slowly last year with natural horsemanship methods. Then when he was fully ready for novice riders, he went on loan to live in Shaftesbury to be hacked around the town and up the hills for the winter.
Now back, he has done several long distance camp-out rides on Exmoor, and plenty of hacking in the NF, + schooling in the field.

He has lovely balanced paces and a natural head carriage. He's happy to go in front of behind hacking - and is just starting to hack on his own.

Schooling - he will slow on a "Whoah" command, nearly doing walk-canter, canter-walk is pretty good too. We don't do SJ or practice much but he'll pop a few 50cm ish fences in the field nicely (also carrying a flag or umbrella if neccessary). He has good ground work skills, plus some nice lateral work coming at a walk including, turn on forehand, turn on HQ, shoulder in, a very nice backup.

Tricks:
'Kerbside; pickup: Click your fingers over his back and he'll come over to pick you up - you can get on off a digger, tractor, gate, bank, mounting block - whatever.
Flag riding: walk, trot, canter with a massive flag waving.
Drag riding: drag a sled or bag and he'll tow it along.

He happily jumps v steadily over logs in the forest, bush bashes through bracken, crosses streams/rivers. Great to do gates.

He loves to be caught! V easy to tie up, wash, trim, shoe, worm. Excellent to load and travel.
V reliable in heavy traffic - he lives on a large farm with tractors/diggers/quads. It is also a pheasant shoot so they're no bother either. We also ride with the dog everywhere so that's cool too.
Ride and lead is 10/10.

Fully up to date with vaccs.
Given all clear in Feb for flexion and 2 stage vetting style lameness check up.
Now he is a bit fat and our fields are very flat, he very occassionaly has a slightly sticking stifle - like a micro hestitation. His brother also has it and it is a mechanical issue related to unfitness. It seems to cause him no stress. When fitter it reduces/goes. As an example, he will do it circa 3 x in a 5km hack. He seems to do it worst going down a slight incline when we ride with loose reins, if we hold him together it's preventable.


IMPORTANT
Our area of the NF does have flu nearby. I am expecting him to just be of interest locally for that reason and therefore not in a hurry to sell him.

Peanut is a lovely 13'2hh, 6-year-old, fully registered New Forest gelding with a green passport. He is a genuine, kind pony with a wonderful temperament and is now looking for a home where he can continue his education.

He was lightly backed and ridden away last year and then was sent to a jockey for the finishing touches before being turned away for the winter.
A couple of months ago he was restarted, but due to my work commitments, he has unfortunately been turned away again and is now being offered for sale from the field.

Peanut is easy to handle, loves people, and has a huge personality.
He is a pleasure to have around.

He has run the forest as a 2 year old and has seen
Cows, sheep, pigs and farm machinery
He has also ran with geldings, mares and foals

He loves water and is often found chilling in our river

He once made friends with one of our friends cows, which sums up his friendly nature perfectly.

He has lived out all year without a rug, with access to shelter, and has been stabled when required. He is good for the farrier, and is an easy doer who happily lives off fresh air, only receiving a small token feed while the others eat.

Peanut had previously sustained a cut to one of his foot that has left a faint scar. This has never affected his soundness, and he made a full recovery with no ongoing issues.

This is an incredibly sad sale. I have had Peanut since he was just 9 months old, and this decision has not been made lightly. He deserves someone who has the time to continue his education and give him the job he deserves. I truly believe he will make a fantastic all-round pony thanks to his intelligence, and love of people.

It is with no rush and only because my daughter is outgrowing him that we are considering finding our much-loved pony his perfect new home.
He is a 21-year-old, 12.2hh British Riding Pony gelding who has been an absolute dream for us. He has done a little Pony Club, but the majority of his time has been spent hacking, which is where he is happiest. He hacks alone or in company, happily leads alongside my horse, and has cantered sensibly in large groups. That said, he has also taught my daughter a few lessons along the way! His favourite trick is putting his head down when there's particularly nice grass, which was easily solved with grass reins. He has just enough character to teach a child the odd riding lesson while always remaining kind, safe and genuine.
He truly is the sort of pony every parent hopes to find. He is a perfect lead rein pony who is also ideal for a child to progress onto as their first ridden. He is incredibly patient, kind and forgiving, and nothing seems to faze him.
He is definitely more woah than go and is much happier plodding along than rushing about. I can happily sit back at Pony Club and watch without a single worry because, if anything, most of the time he would rather not move! He gives children confidence rather than excitement and looks after his little riders every step of the way.
Babies have poked fingers up his nose, children have climbed all over him, stood on his back and jumped off, and he simply takes it all in his stride. My daughter does all of his day-to-day handling herself, and even my novice son, who isn't horsey at all, can catch, groom and lead him because he is so gentle and easy to manage.
He lives out on a large hill with a herd of geldings and settles brilliantly in a herd environment. He is an easy keeper with a laid-back nature and is happy to turn out with mares or geldings. He currently wears front shoes purely because our hacking routes and fields are very stony, but he was happily barefoot before.
He has always been treated exactly the same as my sports horse and has never been "just the child's pony." He has received the very best of care throughout his life, including routine physio and chiropractic treatments as part of his regular maintenance. He has also had dental work to ensure his teeth are now in excellent condition, and I am happy to discuss this with genuine buyers and provide the veterinary report for complete transparency.
We feel he deserves a home where he can enjoy life at a slightly slower pace. He has given my daughter so much confidence, but she is now ready for more than he enjoys doing. We would love to see him teaching another little rider the ropes, with plenty of grass, fuss and family life. He isn't the pony for a child wanting to bomb around fields or jump big tracks every weekend. Instead, he deserves a family looking for a safe, sensible and confidence-giving pony who will happily carry a little one on the lead rein before becoming their trusted first ridden partner.

Poppy is looking for her best friend 🥰

She is a 14/14.1 new forest x hackney who I have owned from 6 months old but sadly she hasn't made the height for me to continue with her and I don't have a consistent rider to take her forward.

She turned 6 in April and has been sensibly started allowing her to have all the time she needed to mature (and grow!)

Backed at 4 , hacked for the summer and autumn at 5 and now ready for someone to put their own stamp on her and enjoy her. She is currently being hacked 4/5 times a week and enjoying her riding time.

She loves her person and develops a close bond. Easy to catch, farrier (barefoot) , tack up, mount, hose.

She's hacked alone and in company (a little wary alone when getting to know you but happy to be told what to do!) and is very brave with unusual sights. She has seen and ridden past cows and been out to a show in a busy environment. She is still a young horse though so would like an experienced rider to show her the ropes in her new home. She has never shown any bad behaviour under saddle, no bucking, rearing, bolting etc. She isn't the finished article and should be considered as a nicely started project ready to see the world!

She lunges off of voice commands and is a lovely little horse.

Poppy appears to enjoy jumping and takes herself off over little fences in the field, she has never attempted to jump out of her field and is very respectful of her fencing 🩷

Mellow is very sadly for sale as her jockey is ready to move onto a horse.

She has an amazing jump and is schooling in a nice outline, although we haven't done dressage with her. She jumps over a 1m at home easily and competed at 80cm show jumping (although could easily compete higher).

She is easy to catch, load, shoe, clip, vet, teeth etc and she will hack alone or in company.

She can give a buck and can still be a little green at times and needs a good rider to give her confidence and as is therefore not a novice ride. With the right rider she could excel, particularly in show jumping.

Rosie did have a ligament injury back in 2024 but has had no issues since being rehabbed so there is no reason for this to cause an issue in to future as long as her work is kept varied.
She is not a traditional kids pony as she can be stubborn in the school, just not going forward for the little ones but my daughter hacks her no problem and does everything on the ground with her with no problem.
