0 The Fortune College Equine Holistic Fair

We are organising a fund-raising charity event on the 3rd August at the Fortune Centre, Tyrell Ford, Bransgore, BH23 8EE. This fantastic specialist college welcomes young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities aged 16-25. The college’s Further Education Through Horsemastership (FETH) Course offers an educational residential/day programme, working with horses, that prepares young people with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible and participate in their local community.

The event has brought together a large number of local equine professionals offering their time and knowledge for free to deliver this informative and fun filled day of demonstrations and tasters sessions throughout the day. We have local vets giving Dentistry, First Aid and Anatomy diagnostics. Chiropractor, Cranial Sacral, Massage and Masterson Method Therapists, Physiotherapist, 2* Eventor, List 2 Dressage judge, FEI Dressage Rider, Carriage driving, saddler, behaviourist, Horsemanship, Nutritionist, Loading, zoopharmacognosy, communicator and healer are involved in making this day one not to miss as well as raising funds for this great Centre. The Centre will also be performing a Vaulting demonstration which is one of the key parts of our programme where students learn a variety of skills whilst working with horses.

Tickets are now available through Eventbrite along with a draft running order costing £15 per person. There is free parking, catering, mechanical horse and stalls on site making this a full day out for all the family.
