Some categories naturally appear in both the Classifieds and the Directory. A good example is livery yards, where the best option depends on the size of the yard and how often vacancies arise.

Small Yards
If you have a small yard with an occasional vacancy, it is usually best to place a standard Classified advert at the normal rate of £8.99.

Larger Yards
If you run a larger yard and want people to know you are there, or you regularly have spaces available, a Directory listing provides a permanent presence on the NFED.

As a listed yard, you may also post livery vacancy adverts in the Classifieds free of charge, saving £8.99 per advert.
This applies only to livery vacancy adverts and is subject to the usual terms and fair‑use guidelines.

Trailers & Horseboxes
In the Classifieds, trailers and horseboxes are vehicles offered for sale.

In the Directory, the same category covers hire services, repairs, spares, and servicing, which are not adverts for sale but ongoing services.
