NFED Help & Frequently Asked Questions

Contacting an Advertiser

By Email
Please ensure you are using a direct internet connection. Using a VPN or any service that hides your IP address will prevent you from contacting the advertiser.

Clicking the E-Mail Advertiser link on any advert will open the enquiry form.

Carefully enter your email address, name, phone number, and your message, then click Send Enquiry. Your message will be delivered directly to the advertiser’s email address.

For security, all advertiser email addresses are hidden unless the advertiser has chosen to include their address in the advert text. Messages are sent from the NFED server, so they will not appear in your own sent mail folder.

Please write clearly, avoid text‑speak, and include enough information for the advertiser to understand your enquiry. Advertisers are advised not to reply to anything that looks suspicious, as replying reveals their email address.

You will receive a copy of your enquiry for your own records.
Do not reply to this email. Replies will not reach the advertiser.

If you need to contact the advertiser again, please send a new enquiry using the form on the advert.

To help fight fraud, all enquiries are monitored for unusual activity and securely backed up. If anything suspicious is detected, enquiries may be checked and dealt with accordingly.

Strictly No Canvassing
We operate a zero‑tolerance policy on canvassing, cold calling, and spam. Anyone offering goods or promoting services that have not been requested may be blocked from accessing the NFED.

If You Haven’t Received a Reply
Before assuming there is a problem, please check:

  • Does your enquiry look genuine?
  • Have you asked questions already answered in the advert?
  • Could your message have appeared suspicious?

Advertisers are advised to ignore questionable enquiries.

If you believe there is an issue, please contact the administrator. There may be a problem with the advertiser’s email address or messages going to spam. We can contact the advertiser on your behalf and check.

Also remember to check your own spam folder, as replies may end up there.

By Phone
Phone numbers are hidden by default. Advertisers may choose whether or not to display a number.

Please respect any contact instructions or preferred times listed in the advert.

If you have difficulty reaching an advertiser, please contact the administrator so we can check the details are correct.

Important Information About Buyer–Seller Arrangements
The NFED acts solely as a point of contact between advertisers and potential buyers. Any arrangements, payments, agreements, or contracts made are entirely the responsibility of the parties involved. We do not provide or share personal information. Please ensure that any important details, contracts, or records exchanged between you and the advertiser are kept securely.
