We are seeking a sharer for a sweet- natured 7yo, 13hh MW coblet mare.
Although a weight carrier type, she is still quite little (with a 15.5 saddle), so she needs a small / lightweight adult rider (I m 5 6 and 9 stone so around this height / weight would be her max).
She has been slowly and sympathetically produced and although is now going nicely under saddle (will not be a world-beater!), is still very low mileage and therefore still green.
She has many firsts yet to accomplish under saddle, including; cantering in the open forest; encountering a stallion; encountering pigs etc etc so ideally these firsts would all be positive, confidence-building events for her in the hands of a quiet, competent, reassuring, calm and experienced rider.
If helping bring on a youngster who is a blank canvas is the type of challenge that you have experience in and enjoy / find rewarding, then please get in touch.
As we will also continue to work her (albeit slowly as producing a youngster is new to me), there are no set days or times. However, for consistency s sake, at least once a week would be ideal (weekdays and weekends are available).
She must stay at current yard. Direct forest access is available from yard. Schools available for hire nearby, if wanted. Own rider insurance required. Adults only.
