We have available two livery spaces (DIY, assisted, full) which would ideally suit one ridden and one non ridden/retired for mares at Hale in the New Forest. Our yard is set amongst a beautiful private country estate with very large fields which we move between throughout the year.

We have large brick-built stables onsite, water troughs in fields, electricity storage area and wonderful grazing with natural shelter. We have a grass paddock for exercise and an easy hack to get right onto the forest (this does involve a few gates and a small amount of road work!).

We have a small established herd of mares aged between 15-20 years all ridden. We live out all year round but have access to stables of course if needed/desired.

Our yard is very laid back and peaceful and I want to keep it that way, we enjoy our horses in the most relaxed and natural way possible with no drama. If you would love your horse/horses to join us they must be nice natured, not aggressive, happy to be handled by myself and my daughter, no vices, a good doer and respectful of fencing.

Hay/haylage is split between the yard and would not be included in the cost.

The field has two auto water troughs, a double opening field shelter and a shared corral area. We are looking for an easy going pony/horse (max 15.3hh) with a similarly straight forward owner who wants to join our little herd of 2 mares.
Small surfaced track for the winter with shelters and rolling area. Over the summer, turnout is available in addition to track and is strip grazed.
The suitable pony/horse needs to be well socialised, a good doer, fine with dry hay, and respectful of electric fencing.
We share chores and holiday cover, the suitable owner will be happy to muck in, is reliable and ideally a happy hacker as that is what we enjoy and it would be great to have another hacking partner.
