We have one part or full livery space becoming available early April for a well-behaved gelding under 16h at our small private yard near Emsworth. Would suit a retired or semi-retired horse, someone wanting to play and have fun in the school with their horse or perhaps learn natural horsemanship. We can also accommodate horses that gain weight easily and need restricted grazing.

We offer individual turnout in separate summer and winter well drained and managed paddocks with post and rail fencing, mains electric (no barbed wire) and automatic water troughs, 40 x 20m arena, 12x12 social stables with mats and automatic drinkers, feed room, secure tack room with rug hanging area, late night checks, CCTV and toilet.

Owners live on site to provide 5* care for your horse in a calm and happy environment where the horse’s needs come first!

Sorry no children under 16 or dogs are permitted on the yard.

If hay/ haylage is needed in winter months we will purchase large bales. The cost will be divided between all owners according to the number of horses in the field

Rent is due the 1st of the month via standing order

£50 deposit secures your place and will be returned to you if you choose to leave providing no damage has occurred.

Assisted grazing livery available for 1 pony in Three Legged Cross. No frills for the human but a beautiful large field for the horse to share with 2 others. Would suit a good doer, ideally under 14.2hh and a mare (gelding considered but must show no interest in mares as mine is very seasonal). Must be respectful of electric fencing.

Natural shelter, low sugar grazing, lots of foraging trees and plants - very natural, peaceful environment. Good hacking, straight on to bridlepaths or a lovely retirement place. Needs to be ok with being left if the other 2 go out as they are coming into work - there are always horses next door.

Included - Daily feeding/checking (feed/supplements not included), rug changes, fly spray/cream, poo picking/harrowing, worming programme (worm count based) Administering/application of medications by separate negotiation.

Not included - vet/farrier/dentist/bodywork visits, feed/supplements. The field is secure, surrounded by a natural hedge and horse-safe stock fencing and located up a quiet lane near to Hockey’s Farm Shop. There is an automatic drinking trough, purpose-built muck heap, shared locked equipment storage and large double opening field shelter. There is also a fenced corral area and off-road parking.
