Whiskey is a lovely genuine mare who has done a bit of everything. She has experience in show jumping, cross country , Showing and has been trained and competed in British Dressage up to Elementary level. She has attended stay-away shows, training camps and an Area Festival, proving herself to be a straightforward and reliable partner.
She is very easy to do in all ways, with a kind and gentle temperament. Whiskey absolutely loves her hacking, particularly on her own, and is excellent in traffic. She is currently barefoot and has very good feet.
Whiskey is not mareish at all, she is a very sweet, slightly sensitive mare who enjoys a quieter herd situation. She prefers being turned out alone or with one or two kind companions, as she can get picked on in larger groups. She truly enjoys her person’s company and will make someone a very special best friend.
I have owned Whiskey since she was 4 years old. Due to financial reasons I have made the very difficult decision to sell. For the last two years she has been on part loan with a lovely 78-year-old lady happily hacking the country lanes. Over the past few months I have started competing her again to prepare her for sale. Jessie - 16.1, 6 year old Irish mare.
A substantial mare, real old fashioned Irish hunter type. No breeding recorded but definitely heavy horse x something lighter.
Before coming over Jessie has mainly spent her time hacking/hunting/fun rides/Xc schooling/hunter trials.
Since being with us we’ve been working on her schooling and having lots of fun with her XC and hacking.
Hacks alone and in company and has been good in the traffic we’ve met and with the farm machinery around the place. She is bold and brave to a fence and will jump anything put in front of her, she’s a real operator and very capable.
Schooling is coming along well and she tries very hard to understand what’s being asked of her. She is green on the flat but would school up lovely in time, she has a lovely canter and is surprisingly balanced for a horse of her age/size. We’ve popped her over a few poles in the school here and she is very honest, she’d definitely go off and do some SJ with some more training. We haven’t done lots of this as our school is tiny for a horse of her size and we’ve concentrated more on getting some basics in place on the flat. Jessie is a lot of fun and has a lot to offer the right rider. Ideal type for hunting/hacking/hunter trials/fun rides/fun allrounder.
She is a big horse with an ‘engine’, wants to get on with the job type but not stupid or sharp. Just wouldn’t be for a nervous/novice rider. She’s absolutely not naughty or nasty but she is a game mare that wants equally game rider to go and have a blast and a rider with a bit of feel. You don’t need to be a pro but relatively experienced home preferred, ridden here regularly by a 15 year old girl who has the most amount of fun on her. Has had a week off here and then hopped up on no issues at all so she doesn’t need riding every day.

Mabel is an all round great mare with a clever straightforward nature and a lot to offer. She lives out with the boys and is not silly or flirty. She hacks alone safely and can go out with mad ponies and keep her cool when they charge off (top quality in my life)
She is bomb proof in all traffic and easy to do in every way. Her start was in Ireland where she hunted and then show jumped to a very high standard (can be seen if you google Newmarket Mabel). Since coming to us she has done hunting and x country which she loves. Im sure she would event to a high level but we have just enjoyed her for hacking, x country, and her affectionate nature. 2018 Palomino pearl PRE gelding, standing approx 15.2

Morante is schooled to perfection on the flat, he’s got 3 balanced and uphill paces, always snaffle mouthed and responsive to the leg, he is always keen to learn and progress more.

He loves to jump and although still quite green in this area, he is keen to get it right and proves to be careful. He has been to arena hires and pops round sweetly, he doesn’t balloon his fences and he doesn’t stop. He has also jumped a range of hedges, logs & ditches out hacking, always ears pricked looking for the next.

To hack he is a delight, he is great in all traffic, he’s great in open spaces and he is very happy to hack first or last, you can leave him behind in a group and he’s totally unphased. We’ve spent a lot of time hacking him about the countryside and he’s been nothing but a pleasure, he remains in his usual rocking horse canter.

He has absolutely no ridden vices, he can be spooky on occasion, but it is very minor, usually only in a school environment and less so when he has adequate varied work and turnout.

On the ground Morante has a lovely nature, he doesn’t bite or kick, great to pick up all 4 feet, to groom & to bath. He is quiet to lead in & out, always comes when called in the field, mostly very quiet in his stable and loads and travels very well.
He doesn’t like to be on his own, however this has really settled in recent weeks with a consistent routine.

He would prefer a small herd environment and more turnout than stabling, he thrives on turnout. Prior to coming to me he was stabled mostly and only really schooled and therefore quite stressed, since being here he has had turnout every day and a varied workload and the change in him has been massive and more or less immediate.

He passed a full 5 stage vetting with a set of x-rays in July last year, bar 1 sarcoid on his sheath and a mark on his left eye.
His owners have had an eye specialist look into the eye, it was deemed a previous injury and not to be causing any issues at the present time.

16.2ish 11 year old bay mare, ror eligible. Sudona retired from racing sound at 7, had two foals and has been professionally re started over the last few months. She has great confirmation and excellent strong feet and moves totally straight. She has a small scar on one of her back legs but is otherwise completely clean.
She hacks out and is very good in traffic, only thing she has spooked at is very rattly trailers! She has hacked on her own but prefers to go in company although she is very happy to take the lead. In the school she works sweetly in walk and trot and will have a little canter. She stands nicely at the block to mount and doesn’t seem to vary if she has a couple of days off. On the floor she is excellent to lead, shoe, catch and faff with.
She is absolutely not for a nervous or novice rider, mostly she is fine but she can be a little sharp, usually because she spots something in the distance. While I wouldn’t describe her as nasty and she has never tried to get me off, she can sometimes ‘freeze’ if she is tense about something and also can be a typical tb and tap dance on the road if she gets a bit overexcited. Going foward I imagine she will probably need a bit of maintenance/management for her to progress further than where she is currently.
Alternatively she is a proven broodmare and would be an asset for someone wanting to add to their breeding program. Home more important than price £2500 ovno

Spirit is a full-up 16.2hh, 7-year-old thoroughbred who retired sound from racing in 2023 and has since been carefully retrained. He is now starting to work very sweetly on the flat, improving each week, but his real forte is over fences.

He is an incredibly bold, honest jumper who simply doesn’t say no – he will jump anything you put in front of him. He has competed at 80cm, taking everything in his stride and not stopping at any fillers. He gives his rider huge confidence and is the type to help you out if you get it wrong.
