Good to catch, clip, (although he doesn’t grow much coat) loads in a lorry or trailer, alone or with a friend, good with farrier, vet. A sensible horse with an affectionate temperament. Fab around children and loves to be groomed and made a fuss of. Turns out in mixed herd fine. An absolute pleasure to own. Plenty of history known about this horse. Low mileage for his age and has much more to give. Woody is an easy and forward thinking gelding who learns quickly and has a heart of gold and is incredibly willing to please. He has no vices, he is one loveable boy who loves attention and kisses.
Since being with me since a yearling he has hacked alone and in company and has seen all traffic, he has been in open stubble fields and doesn’t budge even if a car came up her backside.
With the right confident rider Woody could go really far in dressage, his flatwork is something to be desired for dressage, he is showing great improvement and promising things for the future if someone has the time to put into him.

Harley is a 15.1 8 year old gelding. Friesian x cob but very fine build considering.

I have had Harley since he was 4 and since he has shown heaps of potential and willing to learn.
He would excel in an all rounder home, eventing or hunter type. He is NOT a happy hacker.

Harley is a wonderful horse but he can be headstrong on the ground and has his moments ridden. He’s never nasty but can get overexcited and or fed up with a mundane routine. This improves with consistent and stimulating work and he can be an absolute joy to ride. Therefore he needs a home that has the knowledge to handle him and also give him the consistency he needs. He is not a novice ride and a firm but patient hand is a must with him.

He has beautiful paces and I have taken him to local shows, showjumping and hunter trials, where we always come home with rosettes.
Harley is showing huge potential jumping. Never phased and we have jumped up to 100cm with ease. His flat work is coming along nicely but will need someone with knowledge in order to continue his education. He learns very quickly but he is a working progress. Harley will make a fantastic horse for the right home that is willing to put in the time and training.
He will hack out alone and in company.
Harley is very affectionate and is always happy to see you. Super easy to catch and always comes over to you when you call. A very lovable boy.

He is good to clip and shoe (if a little fidgety) but needs work with a trailer. He will go in with food but can be stubborn. I did lots of trailer work with him last year and got to a point where he would follow me in without a head collar. But after no travelling for the winter he’s gone back to his old ways. I am confident this is easily fixable judging by how well he has overcome this in the past.

This is a very sad and difficult decision for me but I just don’t have the time that he needs and I know he will make a wonderful horse in the right hands.

A knowledgeable, experienced home is essential and homes will be vetted. Due to his headstrong nature on the ground at times, I don’t believe Harley is suitable for anyone below 18.

A forward, soft ride who hacks alone and in company. Good in traffic and open spaces; we regularly lead a toddler on her Shetland off of her.
She has been to flat and show jumping arena hires and comfortably jumps up to 80cm. She has also been autumn hunting a handful of times and stands quietly at the meet and has proved sane and sensible whilst hunting in the field.
She schools sweetly in walk, trot and canter and has just started to learn a little lateral work and rein back.

Forest has had the best start to his ridden career, after being given time to mature. He has been professionally broken in at the beginning of spring and produced over summer.
Forest has 3 nice paces in the school, a soft mouth and is eager to please. He is ready to go do a prelim test now.

He's popped a few jumps, very brave and always goes on any stride how ever we have only touched the surface with his jumping so very much a blank canvas.

Forest has hacked alone and in company. Seems pretty unfazed about most things. He's been cantered in open space without any problems and has seen traffic.

Has been to a few arena hires and acts like he's been there all his life, loads and travels well, gets off the box again unfazed.

On the ground he's a lovable goof. The more attention the better! He lives in or out. And hasn't shown any vices in the stable.

We think forest would make an absolutely fantastic riding club Allrounder/ hunter. Although he would be just as well suited to a home that just wants to hack and do some fun rides. He's been ridden by riding club level riders who all enjoy him.

He has all the correct basics and is now ready to go on. We intended on getting him out competing and had hoped to get him to a one day event. How ever our time restraints with two children under 2 means we just haven't been able to do so so he's now ready to go on and do more with someone that wants a best friend to get out and about on.

As much as forest is generally a very laid back lad- due to only being broken this year we feel he will be best suited to someone that wants to make their own. He has all the basics established but still has more to learn.

As much as I think he will happily take a novice rider at times, right now he does still need guidance with his education due to his age. So please no novices or people looking for something to gain confidence back on.

Ronnie is a 16hh beautifully marked grey tb, 7 yrs old. He had some downtime after racing, and is now being reschooled.

He is lovely to hack, which he clearly enjoys, not overly strong in open fields, snaffle mouth, good brakes! With an easy attitude, travels along, neither stressy or lazy. He prefers company, but is getting braver all the time going in front/ by himself, and has been learning to do gates.

Ronnie has been cross country schooling and took to it really well. He has been to a few clear round events and arena hire show jumping and has come on surprisingly fast coming from a flat racing background. He is a careful jumper, and doesn't worry about fillers or solid fences.

On the ground he is very straight forward and easy to handle. Good to shoe, catch, lead, clip etc. He will load straight into both lorry and trailer, and stand happily. He has no health issues or vices, will sometimes pull a face in the stable, but this has reduced a lot in the time that we've had him. He has done lots of groundwork, long lining, lunging and in hand, and is beautifully cooperative.

He is still green in the arena, but improving all the time. RoR eligible. Ronnie is the finer type, so would suit a lighter adult or capable teen, around 11st max. I’ve owned Guinness for over 7 years, in this time he has been enjoyed as a happy hack, low level schooling and popped a few jumps. Although Guinness is safe and straight forward he does have an extra gear and can step up for a more competent rider. He loves to hack and will go off alone or in company. I do not believe this will affect Guinness if naturally managed (haylage, dust free bedding, turnout etc) he doesn’t wheeze and has only had a recent occasion of coughing when working which is why he was scoped. He has been signed off to go back to normal work and his cough has subsided.

Due to the upcoming closure of our Riding School, Trooper is now seeking a new home.
Trooper is 21 years old, Registered Irish Draught and is fit, sound and currently in full work with us.
He have owned him for 7 years and he has been a wonderful horse for us, so finding the right home now is a priority.
Trooper has been ridden by novice riders including children in the school but also excels with more experienced riders out hacking, sponsored rides, jumping and cross country.
Trooper is brillint to catch, clip, shoe, load and travel in a lorry and to ride in traffic.
Trooper has always lived out in a herd with us but is also is good to stable with company.
Trooper suffers from seperation anxiety due to alway being kept and ridden with others (he was kept at an equine college previously before coming to us)
He will not settle on his own in a field or yard and does not enjoy being ridden on his own. Therefore please do not enquire if these are your intentions.
We would like Trooper to go to a busy yard/private home with multiple horses, where he always has the company of other hoses or ponies.
Trooper doesnt need riding daily and at his age now would enjoy a life where he no longer has to work in a school.
We would love to find him a family who enjoy hacking as much as he does.
Would suit so many people and a handy horse to have on the yard for husbands, teenages, the groom or Nanny to ride etc 14 stone maximum due to his age.
