Calculating the approximate weight of your horse.

Please note: Since every breed of horse is built differently, weights are approximate

The girth is measured in inches using a tape around the horse's body immediately behind the elbow. Let the horse exhale before taking the measurement. The length is measured in inches from the point of the shoulder to the point of the buttock.
