After the early retirement of my much loved horse I am looking for a new partner and equine friend.
Preferably gelding but would consider non diva mare
15 - 16 hands (might be able to go slightly smaller if chunky)
Ideally 8 - 15 years
Nothing sharp, silly or overly spooky (I do appreciate that squirrels can be very dangerous animals and that some leaves are life-threatening and that's ok) - No bucking, napping, rearing or bolting - must load and travel well and be easy to do at competitions by myself
Must be able to produce a reasonable RC level Prelim/Novice test
MUST BE A SAFE HACK ALONE AND IN COMPANY IN OPEN SPACES AND IN TRAFFIC
I am 70 years old so need a safe and polite companion
Jumping ability is not important - my days of wanting to leave the ground are gone - equally I don't want to meet it forcefully!!
He or she will be kept on small private yard with all year round turnout (24/7 in the summer if that is what the horse is used to)and want for nothing
Happy to stay in touch with current owners
