Training towards advanced level will be possible if keen. All general yard and field work plus general extra pair of hands around the property. must be a horse lover and very sympathetic and kind, have good hands and seat. One to one training if right person.
You would be valued and treated as one of the family but must be a hard worker and very quick, clean and tidy with loads of common sense. 5/6 hour days so plenty of time for home study or freelance jobs. Would suit a conscience gap year student or equally a more mature person who hasn’t ever had the chance to ride quality horses before.

Exciting opportunities have arisen to join the Sparsholt College Equine Team. Working under the guidance of the Equine Centre Manager we are looking for full-time and part-time technicians to join the co team at our College and BHS approved livery yard. We are looking for a full-time, experienced competition groom to join our family-run show jumping & showing yard to work alongside a young rider.

Our stables are located in beautiful countryside on the edge of the New Forest in Winsor near Cadnam, Hampshire.

We are a small yard with 4 stabled competition horses/ponies as well as some young stock. This is a permanent job and the successful candidate will be highly motivated, tidy and organised with excellent attention to detail.

Flat riding and hacking is required
Travel to national shows will be required, both days only and some stayover (possible international shows in Europe if wanted)
A full driver's licence is essential
An HGV licence would be a bonus, but not essential
Responsibilities include all usual yard duties, mucking out, feeding, keeping the yard tidy and organised, clipping, lunging, general care of the horses etc.
Working 5 days per week including at least one weekend day

Aivly is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/ Driver responsible for carrying out daily warehouse activities, serving customers, driving a forklift and our delivery van. You will be reporting to the Warehouse Manager to ensure all the warehouse duties are executed effectively and efficiently.
In house training will be provided.

The role will require you to assist with supplier deliveries ensuring that all pallets are inspected and receipted accurately with any damaged or missing stock being highlighted. Warehouse experience such as receipting of deliveries, stock rotation and maintenance of the warehouse is highly desirable. As a consequence a fork lift license would be highly desirable, but not essential.

The ideal candidate would have local knowledge and connection to the area.
In addition the successful candidate will ensure that products placed in customers vehicles (click and collect and fulfilment of shop orders) is executed in an exemplary manner. Providing high levels of customer service is non negotiable and needs to be delivered in a consistent friendly and courteous way. In addition you will be expected to ensure that you use your initiative to help support the Aivly team during busy periods with customers and in-coming deliveries.

We run a local delivery service 3 week days for which you will need to be a competent driver, delivering and offloading orders into customers premises. A clean driving license will be required.
Main Duties:
The job will entail providing a high-level of customer service to our customers.
Ability to lift heavy bags throughout every working day.
Taking responsibility for daily product rotation.
Working as part of the team and building good working relationships
Loading and unloading of products for customers and from deliveries will be expected.
Support in-coming and out-going deliveries.

Skill Set & Personality Type:
Helping & advising customers with high levels of previous customer service experience preferred.
Traits such as going the extra mile and being a team player.
A strong desire to take the initiative is essential.

We have a 4 day a week position available at our Riding School & Livery Yard in Ringwood. We are a small yard of approximately 28 Horses ranging from quiet riding school horses to competition horses. We offer hacking into the New Forest to all levels of rider and children from the age of 4. We also offer lessons in our 20x50 floodlit school.
We offer a high level of care to the horses we have on livery with us, and we would therefore require someone just as passionate as we are to ensure that this level of care is maintained on a daily basis.
The primary role will be assisting in escorting rides out onto the forest, providing basic tuition to all riders in a professional and friendly manner. We also require someone who has experience teaching, or who would be willing to do this with some training. Daily yard duties will also need to be carried out alongside taking rides, which will include everything from Mucking out to poo picking. We would ideally like someone with previous experience working in a similar yard environment, but we would potentially consider someone without this. Applicants must be able to ride to at least a BHS Stage 2 standard and be competent and confident riding out in the open forest. More opportunities such as schooling, jumping, competing, and bringing on horses can be available to the right person.

-Be able to work well in a team, with the possibility of taking sole charge if required (not a necessity)
-Be confident and competent enough to hack out in open spaces whilst assisting other riders.
-Be confident enough or have the experience to teach group riding lessons in the school to adults and children.
-Be able to muck out to a high standard
-Be happy to carry out all yard duties, even poo picking!
-Be confident handling all types of horses, including competition type horses that can be unpredictable.
-Be knowledgeable in basic equine first aid


What we offer;

-Wage to be discussed based on experience and age.
-Lots of riding! Primarily hacking, but schooling/jumping can be offered to the right applicant.
-A small friendly team to work alongside.
-Uniform Tops, jumpers and a coat

Required working days & hours;

-All applicants will be required to work ideally one weekend day 8am-5:30pm. This includes a 1 Hour lunch break.You will also need to be able to work during school holidays.
-Working hours may change depending on time of year, sometimes we will start earlier and finish earlier, sometimes we may finish later. We would like someone who is understanding of hours when horses are involved you can t always finish bang on time!

Start Date;

-Immediate start required ready for school holiday period.
-All applicants will be required to send a full CV, as well as video footage of them riding. Successful applicants will then be asked to come in for an interview/trial day (this will be unpaid). Accepted applicants may require some training days which will be paid.
