Description
Beautiful section A mare for sale

Cherry is a 7 year old, chestnut mare with a very sweet nature.

We are advertising her as a broodmare/companion/inhand pony. She is broken to ride but can be nervous so would need more time to be suitable for a child.

Cherry has been out to shows inhand and has always been placed. Loads and travels well, she will continue to show until she is sold.

With time and quiet handling she will make a lovely pony. Home much more important than price.

Description
A beautiful 9yo 13.2hh part-bred New Forest mare.

Spotty was previously advertised, I thought I'd found the perfect home for her only to find it wasn't quite right for her, and I've held off re-advertising her as I am very fond of her and she is a pleasure to have around. But it would be lovely to see her in her own personal home having tons of fuss and attention in exchange for all the wonderful things she can do!

I own Spotty's sire (who was gelded before I bought him) and all his line are absolutely lovely. Spotty is no exception. She's very much a people pony, whiffles to you often, and loves attention. She is also very gentle to be around.

Spots is good to hack, she's mostly been out alone in the time I've had her but has been good in company too. She doesn't tend to fire up if the other horse/s are adrenalised and is used to working in open spaces. She's been fine with all the traffic we've met except sidestepping carefully onto the pavement because one particular tractor looked odd!

I broke Spotty to drive last year and she was brilliant. She did one driving trials and was totally unphased by everything. She's mainly driven blinkerless, but has worn blinkers 3-4 times and been fine with them. I just prefer driving without.

Spotty has super paces and has been placed in a couple of dressage tests, totally unphased by the warmup arena, white boards, etc. She's been XC schooling and popped alot of varied obstacles and has also been to SJ competitions. She shows good scope and technique jumping on the lunge, but is very gentle under saddle. With her scope she could affiliate in time (she has a half sister with a good record at BE) but she would be equally as happy trotting over low crosspoles.

In her previous home she was ridden solely by children and was loved by all of them. A loss of grazing forced her sale and I bought her 3.5 years ago. A friend's children came to ride her a month or so ago, in a new school which we boxed to and I couldn't fault her. They both loved her. One established in walk, trot and canter already, the other learning rising trot on the lead rein led by his sister. She has mainly been ridden by myself and a smaller adult friend who has jumped her for me in the time I have had her so her schooling and way of going is hopefully above average for a children's pony, but she has proven that she will adapt to any rider very happily and is not in the least bit sharp or strong.

She is good to load, shoe, 'catch' (if you can call it that when she walks towards you!), tack up (she actively opens her mouth to take the bit, you just need to make sure the right part of the bridle is in front of her!)... She is super to do in all ways. A real sweetheart.

She's never suffered from sweetitch or laminitis, and although she has no sight in her right eye, her previous two owners had no idea of this until I mentioned it so it is safe to say it does not affect her hugely! I fill in the gaps for her about things on that side (eg when moving around the field gate) but other than that I treat her like a regularly-visioned pony.

I am happy for her to be tried a few times in various settings before she's sold because she has not been extensively ridden by children lately - I have every faith in her but I appreciate it is different from a buyer's perspective. But please no timewasters or joyriders.

Offered at £1900 because although I feel she is worth much more for her temperament alone, I really would love to see her in a home being properly adored rather than sharing her human with many other horses.

Description
9yr old 16.1 ISH Gelding. Has competed up to BE Novice, done all RC activities, loves his hunting, likes to be up the front and will take on anything. Been on winning inter hunt relay team 2017, and local level working hunter classes. Consistently scoring 70+% at Novice level dressage this winter. Is now also eligible to qualify for Badminton Grass roots 2019. Very straight forward easy ride. The perfect gent to hack on his own and in company even in the heaviest of traffic. Not spooky sort, happy to be left in the field/ stable/ trailer on his own. Excellent to clip, box, shoe. Pregnancy sadly forces sale, fit and ready to go with current 2018 BE season ticket. Ideally would suit someone looking for a BE100 school master, mother daughter share, RC horse or a serious person’s hunter. £10,000 ONO

Description
Full up 13.2hh New Forest Gelding, 8 years old by Moortown Nobby

Buttons is a nicely put together quality gelding. He has an incredibly kind nature and is easy to do and have on the yard. He has been successfully shown in hand at county level including placings at Bath and West, New Forest and Devon County. He has been hunting and behaved impeccably, been introduced to pole work and jumps with ease. Hacks out, crossing a busy carriagway bridge and seen light farm traffic.

Hes incredibly easy to do in regards to loading on a trailer or lorry, travelling alone or in company, stands on the box, turns out alone or in company. Good to bath and shoe etc.

Just back into work after a quiet winter due to the weather and currently in very light work so does require fittening up. He has just been wormed, is vaccinated, new set of front shoes and a dental check (both 23/04/18) with Chris Pearce equine dental clinic - report available.

He would be best suited to a small adult wanting to take part in all round activities including sponsored rides, riding club, showing etc. Please absolutely no novice riders due to his low mileage.

£2750

For sale through no fault of his own, quick sale wanted to a good long term home.
Please CALL 07788293927 Dorchester DT2, please check distance before calling. No tack, rugs or loans.

Description
She is 22 years old
We have had her for over 3 years and she has been a big part of our family, giving my youngest daughter hours of pleasure hacking, Pony Clubbing and competing.
She needs to find a new home (very reluctantly) as she is no longer being ridden to her full potential as my daughter has now outgrown her.
Brilliant Pony Club pony, loves cross country and jumping in general. Will easily jump 3ft.
Ty is definitely a second pony and needs a confident rider to have the most fun together. She will not suit a nervous rider as she is forward going and speedy but
will never do anything malicious or nasty (never bucked or thrown my daughter). When ridden she really enjoys herself, always willing and on her toes.
She hacks well alone or with company. Perfect with shoeing and clipping.
She prefers a companion. She is fine with any size or mare/gelding but definitely needs company in a field. Great in the stable, and very easy to catch and handle.
The last few winters she has lived out, rugged and barely even fed as we have good grass.
She is prone to laminitis and must be watched when there is good grass. She had a bout in summer 2016 which in retrospect was completely our fault and post a frost.
She had it very mildly and recovered quickly.
We are selling Ty very reluctantly - but see that she is being wasted here and needs to go to a family where she will be used and loved and enjoyed.
Price reflects age, not ability. I see no reason why she won't go on for years as she certainly shows no signs of slowing up so far!

£1,100.00 with tack bridle, rugs, etc.

Riding offered for a 9yr old 14h bay reg new forest gelding. Sadly his owner has died of cancer, so I am looking to find an experienced rider who might want to ride 2 or 3 times a week or more and whatever days suits you.
He is very green not done much schooling as mainly used as a happy hacker, he is good on the roads, catch, trim he has never had shoes on as never needed them, good to box, generally a nice type of pony, very loving.
Has not done much all this winter but you can just get on him, he might through in a buck and be a bit stubborn, the more he does he won’t do this.
To stay at present yard in Pitton and not to be moved.

Description
Outstanding all-rounder / mother daughter share/hunter/P.C VIDEOS OF EVERYTHING ON REQUEST
NO TIMEWASTERS - Been horrendously messed about already.

15 Hands, 13 yr old chestnut gelding.
Beau is a horse that you very rarely see for sale and the only reason that he has become available is that my son has now grown over 6 ft and we need a larger version of this cracking horse.
Beau has proven himself on the hunting field taking my novice son in just one season to helping with whipping in with the bloodhounds. He is very much a kick and go ride rather than one that you would have to worry about stopping. He will take anyone from a novice upwards.
With schooling and jumping Beau is very much a push button ride and adapts to the riders abilities he does not rush he just maintains a steady pace.
Beau is happy to pop around a course of jumps having many wins un affiliated, enjoys cross country again always maintaing a steady pace.
100% in traffic and open spaces, hacks first or last on very busy roads - may nap alone with unconfident rider, but never dangerous.
100% sound, no sarcoids, itchs or allergies.
Good to box, shoe, requires a small amount of sedation for clipping.
He will live in or out, prefers to be out and has stayed out all winter with us.
Beau really is an ideal first horse for a confident rider (was my sons first, but equally he is certainly not a plodder) he has taught us everything, we adore him so all homes will be vetted, first to see this horse will buy !
