Pippa is a super sweet and fun little mare that’s done a bit of everything. Takes the leg well and looks and rides more 15hh.
Showjumped to 90cm over in Ireland winning a winter 80cm league last season, she’s well established round a course of fences. Done fun rides/hunting/pony clubbed. Hacks alone and in company and isn’t phased by the machinery around the farm here.
Leg on ride until you get the jumps out! She loves her jumping, she’s keen and can be strong to jump but a real point and shoot type that makes you giggle and just want to keep having fun. Rides on the flat in a snaffle with Pelham for jumping/fast work which she is totally manageable in but for this reason probably wouldn’t suit a tiny or novice rider.

Whilst she would happily carry on and have fun whizzing round some courses, please don’t be put off and think she ‘needs’ to be out doing something. She’s just as happy hacking and doing some polework so she doesn’t need a job but she would do one if you wanted to! Boxed up to the gallops with us recently and worked sweetly in front and behind and enjoyed a little outing.
Pippa is an absolute pet on the ground. She is super easy to have around, lives for a fuss and a groom (and a carrot or two!) and really is a best friend type.

Looking for his forever home,15 year old gelding who is an easy kick along type ride. Old fashioned chunky Connie. He hacks quietly alone and in company and isn’t phased by any traffic, very used to large farm machinery and cyclists whizzing up from behind. Excellent brakes, snaffle mouthed. Will tie up and stand patiently for hours. Like a big dog to handle on the ground. Excellent to shoe, catch, load, clip and with dentist. Teeth regularly maintained and never had any problems. Good doer but never had laminitis. He’s had a VERY easy life! He can jump but not my thing so he hasn’t done much. Saying that he has always jumped everything he’s been pointed at first time, never refused. I think he’d love hunting. Schools nicely too but I don’t have an arena where I am so he may be a bit rusty. Owned for 10 years, did some clinics and fun rides with him years ago, he was always very good, I took him on my own and he loaded and travelled like a dream. Lightly hacked ever since, he’s the sort you can leave for months and just jump on and go for a ride and he’ll be fine. I just don’t really ride anymore and feel he’s terribly wasted with me. Not suitable for a novice as he can once in a while throw a buck when excited. It’s only ever when going in to canter and it’s quite rare. Tentatively putting feelers out to see if there is a suitable and loving home for our beautiful boy now that our daughter has gone to university; he has been the perfect mother/daughter share.

He is a striking 16’1 chestnut TB gelding rising 10 years who came to us out of racing sound three years ago and therefore qualifies for RoR.

He is a lovely mover with three good paces who has done a bit of everything although they have mainly focussed on their dressage.

Forward going, he enjoys his work, likes to step out on a hack either alone or in company and to go for adventures. He will give a drain grate a hard sideways stare but nothing spooks him and he does not nap. He is steady, sensible, including in traffic, and does well leading out those more anxious than him.

He is lovely looking with great presence and gets lots of compliments. His kind brown eyes match what sits inside him.

We had the ‘kissing spines’ op done which has transformed his way of going; the rehabilitation was done steadily, carefully and led by physio and vets. Because it has all been done properly it has been a great investment for his long-term health, fitness and comfort. Scoped for gastric ulcers and no issues found. In short, all the post-racing hard yards have been done to ensure he is strong, healthy and able to enjoy life and his work.

Always snaffle-mouthed, good to shoe, clip and trailer load. He was bar-fired during his racing career and had his wind done.

Thanks to his colouring and his freckled white socks he cannot live in mud. His current routine sees him with stabling and daily turnout on well-drained paddocks.
