This handsome 16.2hh, 9-year-old gelding is a real character who thrives on attention and loves being fussed over. He is incredibly affectionate and often falls asleep whilst being stroked, making him a firm favourite with both adults and children alike.

At home, he is an absolute schoolmaster. He has a rocking-horse canter, works beautifully on the flat, and gives his rider a lovely, confidence-inspiring feel. He is straightforward to school and always aims to please.

Jumping is where he really shines. Bold, brave and genuine, he will happily jump anything you point him at, whether that’s coloured fillers, rustic fences or cross-country obstacles. He locks onto a fence and takes his rider with confidence. He has competed up to 90cm, attended clear-rounds and always takes his rider confidently around a course. He is not fazed by fillers or cross-country fences and has never been a horse that looks for a way out.

At home, he is perfect and incredibly straightforward. Away from home, he can be a little nappy and will therefore suit a confident rider. This is never nasty or dangerous, he may back up and question things, but with reassurance and positive riding he gets on with the job. Once he’s in the ring and jumping, he is a complete professional who knows exactly what he is doing.

He hacks well in company and will hack alone with a confident rider.

He travels well with company and is happiest travelling with a friend. He can become a little anxious when travelling alone and is generally more settled in a 3.5-tonne lorry.

He has a small blemish on one front leg which is purely cosmetic and causes absolutely no issues.

This is a horse with a huge heart who forms strong bonds with his people. He would thrive in a one-to-one home where he can be someone’s best friend and receive the love and attention he enjoys so much.

TY - full up 14.2, 9 year old cob gelding.
A real leg in each corner that takes the leg well and is up to carrying weight.
TY has spent the majority of his life in a riding school and has attended beach rides, group hacks, small XC days. He happily hacks alone or in company and is good in the traffic he’s met. Used to country lanes where he’s come from but has hacked out on our busy road here and was good as gold.
Works away in the field and is good in open spaces, been around the small XC fences here no bother and pops a pole in the school. He’s no world beater just a nice low level allrounder. He is a leg on ride, more woah than go and doesn’t need riding every day.
Would suit a variety of riders from more novice with a good support network, to any level of rider that just wants to pootle around and not pick up too much speed!

Echo is a striking 15.1hh purebred Arab mare, 16 years old (05/06/2010), with the kindest temperament and most genuine nature you could wish to find. I bought her over three years ago for my nervous mother after she had completely lost her confidence, and she has exceeded every expectation.

Since being with us, Echo has mainly been used for hacking on the New Forest. She is excellent with pigs, donkeys, horses, cattle and sheep, and is unfazed by farm machinery, builders, motorbikes, traffic and general roadwork. She is a safe, sensible and enjoyable hack both alone and in company.

Echo's greatest asset is her incredible nature with beginner riders. We do not have an arena, so beginners have always gone straight out onto the open forest. I have put countless novices on her, from small children to adults over 6ft tall, and every single one has walked, trotted and cantered on their first ride.

She genuinely looks after her rider. If someone becomes unbalanced, she waits for them to regain their position. If she feels a rider is not secure enough, she may choose not to canter, and if they lose balance in canter she will quietly return to trot.

She is a rare horse who adapts to the person riding her. With a nervous rider she is calm and confidence-giving. With a more capable rider she is forward and enjoyable. With an experienced rider she can be fun and quite whizzy, enjoying a gallop and can become enthusiastic. But this changes depending on the situation, she was invaluable nannying my young horse on his first hacks and happily maintaining a steady pace.

Echo schools nicely, works in a pleasant outline and will pop fences up to around 80cm. However, she is not being sold as a competition horse. She has some arthritis in her neck, which we knew about when we bought her. This has been successfully managed with steroid injections, and I am happy to discuss this openly with serious enquiries. As a result, she is best suited to a hacking home with occasional schooling and jumping.

She is currently fit, enjoys long rides and was happily carrying beginner riders just two weeks ago.

She moves very well and is very athletic. Can carry on with dressage or could event with the right rider.

Striking, unspooky and very easy, friendly 15.1hh black cob mare (born October 2020) with significant presence who has been out and about locally and on fun rides - ridden by all ages (64-12).

She has the potential to do a lot more in the right hands. She has been hacked out on an “as and when” basis over the last 2 years owing to my life circumstances. This speaks well for her as she is reliably safe despite the irregularity of exercise and education. I am an older lady rider, now looking to retire from riding and want to see her fully optimised as the LOVELY horse she IS and the OUTSTANDING family horse I know she can become.


This little horse moves nicely and is happy to pop a log and is happy with trotting poles and cross poles but has had no “formal” schooling. She can be hacked on the buckle end and is more whoa than go-go-go but I personally (owing to my age) have never encouraged the super speedy side of life! It has been said, by two professional trainers , and I agree, that she would love low level xc and hunting or equally she could easily be shown with a good chance of success – especially because of her presence and calm and sensible disposition even in the buzz of a horsey event- or she would be equally brilliant as a loving family horse and happy hacker.


We live on country lanes and she is good with the local traffic. Her field is in the heart of a pheasant shoot – the guns do not worry her at all .


She is ready for a loving owner who will be consistent, thorough and who wants to teach her and/or learn with her. (Please note however that due solely to her age and size and my desire to see her progress she will NOT be sold to a novice or unconfident rider/handler). She is bright and highly teachable - as such she will quickly become “that horse” that everyone wants. I have not given her the consistency or next step of schooling she deserves.


I would like to see her being brought on intelligently and kindly with a view to being her new owner’s “life horse” having had a great and happy start here with groundwork, hacking and slow, steady and kind life experience. She is snaffle mouthed.


She has been clipped the last two winters. Barefoot with excellent hard feet, good to load and easy to handle. (She can snatch at grass whilst being led but listens when told not to). She lives in or out – solo or company & is a good doer. (She has been predominantly with mares although her first summer here she shared a field with a gelding and was fine.) She can be a bit bossy in the field to others but only pulling faces and chasing off. She respects electric fencing and does not eat the wood on post and rail fencing. She is unfazed being left on her own in the stable or when her friends leave her from the field and is always pleased to see you when you come to the gate either to say hello or take her in for a groom/ride.

Sonic - approx 15.1hh, 4 year old Connie x cob gelding.
Sonic is a super sweet and genuine little chap. The ultimate allrounder who’d go off and do a bit of everything and the type to suit the whole family in time.
A really nice type with a pretty little head and a leg in each corner without being heavy.
Good to hack alone or in company and been good in the traffic we’ve met. Riding really well for his age, working away sweetly in the arena with a lovely way of going, nice balanced paces for his age and incredibly willing to learn.
Been out to arena hires and XC schooled, he has a super jump and is very much a yes man. Popped straight round the fences here first time no need to show him anything first, just got on with his job.
Starting to string some fences together in arena and shows plenty of ability if wanted.

Super type for any job, doesn’t ‘need’ to be busy but equally would go and do a bit of everything if wanted. A really fun little horse who is a nice mix of forward but not too forward, responsive but not sharp. One I ride at the end of the day so I always end the day with a smile on my face.
