Putting my gorgeous new forest gelding Merlin up for sale , due to not having the same love for the hobby and my heart just simply not being in it anymore, Merlin is a two year old gelding, he has recently been gelded! I’ve had him since 7 months old so the right home is very important to me. He’s had regular groundwork sessions , has the farrier regularly and has started his injections too. He’s currently standing at about 12hh but has room still to grow. He’s a very solid boy and would do very well in’s showing and will make a great pony when he’s older. As he’s still young, I would like him to go to someone experienced as being a young pony he can be cheeky and needs a firm handler.

The only problem I would say he has is loading, he tends to despise loading but with an experienced handler this wouldn’t be a problem, I believe a lot of this is to do with not being able to practise with him as I don’t have a trailer if my own, I believe with time and patience he will load fine.
