I walked my dog tonight 6/1/11 at approx 4.30pm over at Moonhills/Hilltop. (Between Exbury gardens and The Royal Oak).

A couple with 5 dogs ( a staffie, muzzled, a golden lab, and some lurcher type dogs) were walking towards the tree line when their dogs started chasing some donkeys there. They were making an awful noise and seemed very distressed. The dogs chased them for some 10 minutes. Horses and Donkeys together then started running. They didn't appear to be taking any notice of this. The couple were middle aged and driving a white van. Unfortunately I was unable to get their number.

I just thought I would post this in case the owners wish to check that the animals were ok. They were seen heading toward the open green. I think they are the donkeys which are usually around the Beaulieu area. I hope they are ok.

Sounds like they were probably commercial dog walkers (who dont give a sh*t) Makes me mad. We discussed this at a NFCDA committee meeting last month and are going to make a presentment on it (for what good it'll do, as people like that wouldnt pay any notice anyway)

although its definately unacceptable behavior, so is calling people pikey's. and no im not a gypsy just think no wonder there are big divides within some groups when just because these people had a van and several dogs they must be gypsy's :|
