Saw this delightful baby whilst out riding today on Whitefield Moor in Brock. She was my first this year. A lovely warm day to have a nice snooze, UNTIL some b****y idiots let their 4 yapping dogs loose, They gave her a rude awakening, but were soon seen off by her mum!! ;) when will people start being responsible dog owners around new foals & put uncontrolable dogs on a lead? .Anyway she was fine & it made my day discovering them.

yes, she is early, possibly covered at home, as some do then turned out to foal. If she was covered on forest in this area, she will possibly be a Moortown Nobby offspring, can't be bad!

Possibly off topic, but irresponsible dog owner with one dog on lead and other off playing with a ball in front of my lurcher - his chase instinct hit, completely lost his manners and wouldn't come to heel - got bitten just where the back leg joins torso, smallish bite opened up like unzipping a banana - cost £600 to have him treated and stitched up. He's now terrified of all black dogs. Not pleased with his disobedience in first place, but idiot walker for getting toy out before we passed. Grumble over :!:

I also have a youngish lurcher, who ,because of his very strong chase instinct, is selectively let off lead. All off lead dogs make a beeline for him & he does tend to get excited. There's a chap who's got 2 big rotties who are always off lead & I'm terrified they'll attack my boy. It's difficult to know what to do. I usually make a big detour if I see his vehicle! Your experience was horrendous, poor boy.Did'nt the owner give you their details? They should've paid for that.Hope he's recovered o.k. :offt: but n'mind!!

Don't get this........ who was really to blame, the dog having an innocent game or the dog who poked his nose in and tried to steal the ball, my dog is fear aggresive and if I think she can't be trusted in any situation I put her on lead and expect her to be left alone by other dogs, I do not expect people to do any more than keep their dogs away from her as she is the one with issues......... Just my opinion :)
