Last night an attempt was made to steal a shire/cob cross from our yard in Fleet. Fencing was cut and removed and another horse was badly hurt in the process when the thieves tried to tie her up in barbed wire. Fortunately the horse they tried to steal would not leave his field mate and refused to load, but was obviously beaten in the process. Any information should be forwarded to PC Kelly Barlett 25057 of Farnborough Police station.
