Reported break in to private stables, at private house in Headley nr Bordon. Saddles taken and it is thought that thieves used wheel barrow to remove goods from the premises, taking them across fields into Liphook Road, Headley.

There have been several incidents of late up in the the Bordon/Headley/ Linford and surrounding area where Equestrian premises have been attacked. Most recently saddles have been stolen

Please take extra precautions with your stable/property security.

Remember that thieves travel so who ever is responsible may not be local to the area being currently targeted by the thieves. Surrey and Sussex are only a few miles away and it is well known that thieves will travel way out of their area to commit crime

The police need your help to identify the thieves . Please report any thing you deem to be suspicious or are just not happy about...i.e., vehicles you don't recognise to your area, individuals....remember thieves can be women and children too!!!!

Please circulate this information.

To phone Hampshire police for non emergency matters dial 101

For emergencies dial 999

To make anonymous calls to report matters dial Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111
