Payment Help & Instructions

Introduction

A new shopping cart system has been installed that combines our art website CK Art with the NFED. You can now purchase your advert online in exactly the same way as you would by a book or DVD. When your order is processed, your advert will be approved.

There are many reasons for the change, some technical, some financial but it was something we had to do. From the customers point of view, it may take very slightly longer on your first visit, but we will no longer waste time with failed transactions or declined cards as they are authorised in real time. Adding Paypal is another bonus that will please those who prefer not to use a credit/debit cards online.

There is an option to open an account. If you are a regular advertiser this will save you having to enter your contact details every time. Just enter your details once & save them, the next time you can log in using your Email address & password. You can also return to the shopping cart at anytime to retrieve invoices or view your transactions. Note: Your payment details are not stored & will have to be entered each time.

How to use the new shopping cart & payment system

From the NFED payments page, click on the link that matches the offered amount for your advert. The cart will open on the correct page in a new window.

Enter your advert number if known or your advert description if not, i.e. "13.3 New Forest Mare"

Click on "Add to Basket"

If you are paying for a single advert, you have finished & can go to the checkout. If not you can make a selection from the left hand menu & add items to your basket. The basket contents are shown at the top of the page, anything can be removed from the basket or amended at anytime before you go to the checkout.

When you have finished, click on "Start Checkout"

Enter Your Details or Log In to Your Account

The shopping cart will ask you for you name, address & Email address. You can supply the details once or open an account which will remember your details. If you are a regular NFED user, you will probably find it easier to open an account which allows you to log in the next time or whenever you want to review your transactions.

Please NOTE:

A: This is NOT your Classified Advert log in details, if you haven't used the shopping cart before you do have to open an account before you can log in.

B: If you have previously used the cart system & opened an account, it will only accept the password previously used with your Email address. If you have lost your password, click on "Lost Password" & enter your Email address to be sent a reminder by Email.

Which ever option you choose, your details will not be passed on or used for advertising purposes. The details are only required to allow us to securely collect your payment. Your payment details are not stored.

Once you have entered your details or logged into your account, you have to agree to our standard terms & conditions before you can proceed.

You will then be taken to the Payment Option screen.

Payment Option

If you wish to pay by credit or debit card, select the first option & enter your card details. No spaces are required.

If you wish to pay by PayPal, select the second option.

Ignore the discount codes section, this is something we may use at a later date.

Click on "Review Order"

Review Order

The Review Order screen will show your basket contents & your billing address. If you have only ordered classifieds ad/s the postage will be £0.00. We are not VAT registered, so all orders will show "No VAT"

Credit/Debit Card Payments.

Clicking on "Complete Order" will process your payment through Protx. Providing your payment has been approved, you will be taken to the Payment Complete screen. If there are any problems, you will be notified immediately so that you can correct them or use a different card.

If your payment has been successfully processed, we will be informed by Email & will approve your advert on the next update. Updates are carried out several times per day & you will be informed by Email.

Paypal Payments

Clicking on "Complete Order" will take you to the Paypal log in Page

Enter your Paypal Email address & password.

Paypal Review Payment Page

Check your payment & click on "Pay Now".

Paypal Complete

If your Paypal transaction is successful you will see the following screen. Click on the "Return to Merchant" button to return to the shopping cart & complete the transaction.

Order Processed

Your order will be sent through to us for processing. Your advert will be checked to ensure it complies with our guidelines & approved. You will be sent an Email confirming this & giving your transaction reference number.
