Wayland Lion Heart is three and his Sire is
Lukington Leo. The head picture was at Ponies UK last year where he won his breed
class and was youngstock champion. He was also fifth in the Glynn Greenwood
out of a mixed breed and age class of 11. He has done very well
throughout. Last year we had more red ribbons and championships that we can
remember. This year again he was first and reserve champion at Ponies UK and also
was second in the overall points of the NFPEC points scheme next to his cousin Wayland
Cranberry which he has been for the last three years. Also this year he was second
and reserve at the East Midlands Native Pony Show and also reserve champion.
Obviously the Wayland Ponies are made to be at the top. Please say a thank
you and congratulations to Mary Bryant and Ellaine for doing so well with Cranberry and
thank you for a lovely top class pony. Keep up the hard work.

Briar (yewtree slipaway). Bought from Eric
Dovey as a four year old. He is descended from Slipper, so was really pleased to win the
Slipper cup in the 1996 point to point. Bryony is a NF x welsh cob born out on the forest
from our mare Little Purley Girl Friday. What can I say, she tries hard, ride & drives
and is the friendliest pony you'll ever find. Perfect for our daughter Sally.
