Aim   
Promotion of the registered New Forest pony as an all round performance pony.
To this end the club seeks to publicise the achievements of its members and their ponies to give the breed a higher profile in public awareness.

Description 
A Riding Club affiliated to the British Horse Society, part of Area 17 which covers Hampshire, Dorset & the Isle of Wight. The club is unique in accepting only members that ride and own registered New Forest ponies. We are based in the New Forest, with on average 250 members, both adult and juniors. Our members participate in a wide range of events both in the New Forest and further afield.

Typical Events and Activities
Annual Open show. Dressage, Jumping, TREC. Professional instruction for all levels. Pleasure rides. A variety of non mounted social events. Participation in Riding Club area competitions, including: show jumping, dressage & hunter trials.

Teams Regularly Compete at National Level

Our Achievements to Date Include:

    • Senior Prix Caprilli Champions Two Years in Succession
    • Individual Junior Dressage To Music Champion
    • Senior Novice Hunter Trial Team Champions
    • Runner Up - Novice Show Jumping Senior Championships
    • Runner Up - Senior Pairs Dressage to Music Championships
    • Runner Up - Royal Internation Horse Show Teams of Three Show Jumping
    • Runner Up - Lincoln with the Riding Test Team, again the only ALL pony team
    • Holders (for the 2nd Year in Succession) of the Rural Riders Dressage Championship



In the majority of these events, we have been the only ALL PONY team competing
