NFED HELP

To make navigation as easy as possible the NFED is divided into 5 categories or headings, with 4 simple ways to navigate around the site & find your information.

On this page you can read how to use the menus, discover what is in each of the categories or have a look at the NFED site map to see exactly where everything is located.

Navigating the NFED

Category Menus
Each category has its own individual menu on the left hand side, which shows & links to the pages that can be found in that particular category.

At the top of each menu is a drop down box to select the other categories available.
The current category title can be found at the top of the menu. To open the menu, click on the arrow, then select the category.

If you are lost at any time, selecting "Home" will take you back to the starting point.

Site Index
This lists every major page that goes to make up the NFED, with a short description.

Search
You can search the site using any of the search boxes in the left hand menus. The site is spidered by FreeFind every Sunday night, so information added since the last crawl, will not show up until the following Monday.

Classified & Forum Search
Both the classifieds & the forum are fitted with separate search facilities. These will give a more accurate search of these areas.

The Categories

1. Classifieds
   Pretty self explanatory really! 14 different sections of automated adverts, all of which will accept photographs. The "Forest Bred Ponies" ads are slightly different being run by commoner & NFPPG Committee Member, Mike Cooper.
   
   
2. Information
   All the information you should ever need: What's on where, what the weather will be like, contact people or leave messages, download a schedule, chat & more. The majority is automated & user submitted.
   You can also find the special interest sections that we either host for others or are in direct contact with, such as the NFPEC, NFEA, NF Pony Publicity Group, Carriage Driving, Western Riding & Hampshire Horse Watch.
   The last section here is for external sites that you may find useful such as the BHS message board.
   
   
3. Interactive
   In the interactive category you can find the less serious pages! Games, Quizzes, Cards & so on. Something for those rainy days & to keep a Website Builders brain active!!
   
   
4. Directory
   The original part of the NFED. A comprehensive listing of equestrian businesses & services in the area. All listings are free, contain full contact details & links where appropriate. Click on the map links to find the premises.

   About the NFED, its policy & why we are here, how to advertise, latest site news, archives & more.
