NFPPG’s Pre-sale Youngstock Show of Registered New Forest Ponies followed by Sales of Registered New Forest Ponies and other breeds. (Schedules will be available for downloading from our web site www.nfed.uk - NFPPG on Pony Sales Date page nearer the time.) The pre-sale show starts at 9.00 AM PROMPT and has classes for halter broken registered New Forest fillies and colts/geldings. Youngstock entered in the show will later be auctioned by Southern Counties Auctioneers. The auction starts at 10.30 am.

15th – 17th May – DEVON COUNTY SHOW
Three day show, Thursday to Saturday at Westpoint, Clyst St. Mary, Exeter.
This will be our return visit following last year’s first time when we met so many new faces and shared our enthusiasm for the New Forest pony with you. Look out for us near the Lady Clinton Ring. The stand will have lots of display material and information for you to take away. We look forward to meeting and introducing you to the world of the New Forest pony. Please come and see us.

JUNE
25th – 26th June – ROYAL NORFOLK SHOW

Two day show, Wednesday and Thursday at the Norfolk Showground, Dereham Road, Costessey, Norwich.
Again this will be our second visit for the NFPPG. You will find us off 6 Drive alongside the Light Horse Ring. We will have lots of display material and information, plus a popular DVD running of New Forest stallions. If you missed us last year, or want to meet us again with any questions you have – check us out!

JULY
3rd – 6th July - THE ROYAL SHOW, STONELEIGH PARK, WARWICKSHIRE. Four day show, Thursday to Sunday.

We’re back again! And this will be the fifth time Shirley Young, our NFPPG Leader will design and lead the popular Musical Ride of British Native Ponies, a chance to see these cherished British breeds many of which are now rare.. Last year the rain defeated us but you bravely waded to our stand. Look out for the New Forest stand which can be found in the Native Breeds Feature Village complete with New Forest pony. Lots of information will be available, plus a DVD featuring forest run stallions. Look forward to seeing you!


11th – 13th July – KENT SHOW, MAIDSTONE.
Three day show, Friday to Sunday.
Again a repeat visit to this show for the NFPPG so look out for us in the Countryside Area. We will have lots of display material and information, plus a popular DVD running of New Forest stallions. Looking forward to meeting you.


29th – 31st July - THE NEW FOREST SHOW, NEW PARK, BROCKENHURST, HAMPSHIRE.
Three day show, Tuesday to Thursday.
This is New Forest pony country, so apart from our stand lots of New Forest ponies in action. Don’t miss the Knightwood Challenge – New Forest ponies paired with horses ridden by professional show jumpers, show jumping together!

23rd – 25th August - THE NEW FOREST PONY BREEDING & CATTLE SOCIETY BREED SHOW
Three day show, Saturday to Monday at New Park, Brockenhurst, Hampshire.
A MARVELLOUS OPPORTUNITY TO SEE THE VERSATILITY OF THIS BREED.
Saturday has the Stallion Show, Sunday is all about performance; jumping, driving and dressage, etc.; then Monday finishes with the In Hand classes.

Four days, Thursday to Sunday to include Pre-sale foal show at Beaulieu Road, watching a drift (round-up), evening at Lyndhurst Community Centre and visit to holdings, etc – tickets required. Advise booking early as spaces limited for this popular event.
