Description
Claire lives in the New Forest, and has always been inspired by and loves the Forest its ponies and wildlife. She loves to capture the moods and emotions of the animals in her paintings, and this ability leads her to produce beautiful, life like, true to character portraits of pets and equines alike. Her love of animals allows Claire to understand the individuality and strength of character in our animals, and always aims to reflect this in the portrait.
Commission based animal portraiture is the main concentration of her work, but she is also producing original works aimed towards producing prints to sell to a wider market. These originals will be displayed and for sale at bi-annual exhibitions. Dates and locations will be updated on the web site when announced. You can join the mailing list to be notified.
The prints are available online, and through local outlets such as the New Forest Museum. There is a fully equiped framing workshop in house with all types of framing or reframing available.
A number of past portraits are on view on her website link above, as is a price guide, although individual needs can be discussed Claire likes to meet the subject personally and take her own photos, although obviously this is not always possible, good clear photographs are usually fine to work from.

Description
I work with horses and ponies using Intelligent Horsemanship techniques which are all based on a true understanding of the psychology of the horse. The work I do is tailor made to the needs of you and your horse. Working at your premises or mine, I teach groundwork, desensitisation, and long reining all of which are designed to establish leadership, build confidence and fitness. I also take a limited number of horses and ponies for starting each year. The emphasis is always on getting it right first time.
As well as teaching horses to load for the first time, I work with problem loaders and travellers. I can also address all kinds of behavioural problems including apparent phobias, reluctance to be caught, spookiness, and nappiness.
I work with every aspect of the horse's management and am supported by a team of experts in physiotherapy, McTimoney-Corley and other therapeutic techniques.
Also specialising in handling and training unhandled and semi-feral ponies; introducing them to being touched and caught in a gentle way. Author of No Fear, No Force.
I have a wealth of experience based on years of horse ownership AND thorough training. I am qualified to use behavioural techniques with horses and am a Recommended Associate of Intelligent Horsemanship. This means that my work is constantly evaluated and approved. Working in a gentle and ethical way, the horse is the paramount consideration and there is no cause to use short-cuts, gadgets or whips. All of my work is insured.
Frequently recommended by vets, farriers and saddlers. I also work regularly with charities and provide low key demonstrations.

The New Forest is an ideal country in which to begin hunting on a horse, as there is no jumping required, and as there is free public access to the forest, you can take your own line at your own speed as your knowledge and experience allows. Anyone competent at walk, trot and canter, with a reasonably sensible horse will easily cope with a days hunting in the New Forest. The many wide open heathland areas also allow great opportunity to watch the skill of hounds and huntsman at work.

Description
Animals cannot verbalise their pain, however there are many ways they can let us know, we just need to recognise their change in behaviour or movement. Before proceeding to try to correct these “vices” it is imperative to rule out pain as the underlying cause. McTimoney-Corley Animal Manipulation therapy is a gentle form of manipulation that aims to restore health, aid mobility and enhance well-being. This gentle, yet effective therapy works on the bones of the head, spine, pelvis and limbs. By re-aligning these structures the nerve pathways are left clear and uninhibited, therefore relieving pain and encouraging health and function of the skeletal system and associated tissues. Equine Sports Massage is a hands on therapy working on the horse’s muscles to improve flexibility, performance, tone and recovery. Massage also acts to enhance well-being and aid injury recovery and prevention. I combine both of these therapies to provide a more complete allround treatment, addressing both skeletal and muscular issues.
All equines can benefit from both massage and manipulation, regardless of age, breed or discipline. Specific or maintenance treatments will benefit your horse's health, mobility and wellbeing throughout their lives.

Description
Robust Field Shelters and Stables at Affordable Prices.
Mike Corcoran has been producing bespoke timber buildings for over thirty years and continues to play a key role in the production of the current line of field shelters and stables.
Mike’s customers regularly travel hundreds of miles to collect his products. Why? Because nowhere else can they find the same combination of affordability and durability. Furthermore, the buildings come in sections of, at most, 8 foot by 6 foot sections (approx 2.5 metres by 2 metres), which means that a standard 36 foot by 12 foot field shelter will fit into a twin horse trailer.
The prices for field shelters are as follows:
12*12 = £425
18*12 = £600.
24*12 = £725 All fixtures, i.e. bolts etc are included in the price and the roof is box-profile tin.
The shelters and stables quoted above are covered with board 5”*3/8”, which overlap each other an inch and a half and are held in place by 3"*1.5" framing. The exterior of the boards are treated with a fungicide and insecticide.
Additional extras include kickboards, skids and various different styles of stable door. The front opening of the field shelters can also be made to individual specifications.
