Description
Animals cannot verbalise their pain, however there are many ways they can let us know, we just need to recognise their change in behaviour or movement. Before proceeding to try to correct these “vices” it is imperative to rule out pain as the underlying cause. McTimoney-Corley Animal Manipulation therapy is a gentle form of manipulation that aims to restore health, aid mobility and enhance well-being. This gentle, yet effective therapy works on the bones of the head, spine, pelvis and limbs. By re-aligning these structures the nerve pathways are left clear and uninhibited, therefore relieving pain and encouraging health and function of the skeletal system and associated tissues. Equine Sports Massage is a hands on therapy working on the horse’s muscles to improve flexibility, performance, tone and recovery. Massage also acts to enhance well-being and aid injury recovery and prevention. I combine both of these therapies to provide a more complete allround treatment, addressing both skeletal and muscular issues.
All equines can benefit from both massage and manipulation, regardless of age, breed or discipline. Specific or maintenance treatments will benefit your horse's health, mobility and wellbeing throughout their lives.

Description
Pioneer manufactures herbal products for horses, dogs and their owners.
Our Herbal Liquid Soap is a superb all over body wash that will deep cleanse and take care of nicks, cuts, bites and scrapes, as well as enhancing coat, mane and tail. The soap is heavily antifungal and is mainly used for Thrush and early stage WLD. It is rich, economic to use and each bottle has either a flip top or "mustard" bottle dispenser, so there is never any waste. We make a hard bar version of this soap which is called Pioneer Hoof Soap.
Our Herbal Balms are specifically formulated for WLD, Midge attacks, Mud Fever scabs and Wound Care, while our Bruise Balm is for tendons, ligaments and joint bruising. All products are handmade by us.
All our marketing, statements, recipes and formulae have been inspected in 2009 by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate and given a clean bill.
Carewash liquid soap is for working dogs, is a similar recipe to our Herbal Liquid Soap, but with much less antifungal herbal content.
We make a range of personal care balms, concentrated on skin repair and maintenance. Our ointments for Athletes Foot, Eczema, and Insect Bites are best sellers to people involved in country pursuits. We bottle our own range of essential oils in big 25ml bottles and our own brand massage oil is used by therapists across the region. We sell our products in South Africa, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Lapland, Ireland, France, Spain, Italy and all regions of the UK. Enquiries from potential distributors are welcome. Do you need some help exercising or schooling your horse? Going away on holiday? Then maybe I can help! I’m 22, 5’3 female, who is an experienced rider and looking for rides once I return from University at the end of the month (available from July). I have been riding since I was 5 and have competed up to Advanced level British Eventing, as well as affiliated show jumping, unaffiliated dressage and HOYS working hunter classes. At the moment I’m only competing at Pre-Novice level as my horse had to be retired early and I got bored of not competing so have stolen Mum’s! I am also retraining a racehorse who I hope to compete too and have several youngsters growing! I am currently studying a masters degree in Equine Science and hold my Pony Club B test. I am confident riding small and big horses, young and old. I am happy to help school your horse, hack out or compete. I live in Lymington and have my own car so will travel realistic distances. Sensible price dependant on exactly what you want! Please email me or ring 07790 078416 for more information (I am sitting my final exams this week and next so may take a day or two to reply!) Many thanks!

Are you finding you have little or no time to get your paperwork up to date? Would you rather concentrate on running your business than sorting out your accounts?
I can help. I have over 21 years experience working in Bookkeeping and Office Administration and offer a Professional Service to businesses in and around the Basingstoke area. I have a fully functional office at my home in Chineham (Basingstoke) and I come to your business to collect the paperwork and return it to you on completion. I am also able to keep records at my office if you prefer.
I offer a Free Initial Consultation and very competitive rates (considerably lower than those of Accountants) and I work to suit you and your business requirements. I have also owned and ridden horses for over 25 years and understand the special needs and requirements of an equestrian business.
If you think I can help you keep your business running smoothly by keeping your accounts up to date then please give me a call and we can have a chat. Please also see my website for more information.

Equestrian Artist - Commission a Portrait of your horse..
Description
Kathryn Dalziel – professional painter specialising in horse and animal portraits. www.kathryndalziel.com tel:01725 510135.
Having studied Fine Art at university where she won two National design awards, Kathryn furthered her passion for painting and classical portraiture in Florence, where she was taught the methods of the old masters.
This classical training taught her the painting and drawing methods of the leading Parisian ateliers of the nineteenth century: Using the sight-size method Kathryn is able to capture a close portrayal of expression, spatial depth and an altogether more three dimensional image; a method that was used from the beginning of the seventeenth century by many of the finest oil painters, including Reynolds, Lawrence and Sargent.
Kathryn’s many successful exhibitions include The Winchester Guildhall Gallery, Salisbury Swaynes House Studio, Salisbury City Hall, The Picturehouse Gallery in Poundbury, Dorchester, The Leighton Art Gallery in Weymouth, Grant & Gower International dealers in fine art and the Mary Cruz Gallery, Bath. Included in her commissioned work are the oil painting of Lord Paddy Ashdown, the pastel drawings of the children of the Earl and Countess of Pembroke and 14 oil portraits of the Knatchbull Hugessen family.
"My inspiration is taken from life and my classical training has given me a solid foundation for individual expression and style. I work towards capturing form and life-like portrayals with depth, movement, mood and expression My study of the human form and knowledge of animal anatomy and movement is an invaluable tool to help me portray personality and character with accurate drawing skill.
Several years ago I was selected as resident artist at the Spanish School of Riding in Vienna and spent the summer sketching and painting the magical Lipizzaner horses in ‘the most beautiful riding hall in the world’. Inspired by the movement and ability of these amazing horses I went on to visit the Lipizzaner stud at Piber in the Austrian mountains to paint the horses running free in their natural environment. I am still working on some of this collection and two of the finished Lipizzaner paintings are on show here."
